Topic: General Gaming / Epic Battle Fantasy 3 Tips for Final Battle on Epic

I just managed to defeat Akron on Epic mode. Here is my setup:
Matt: Ninja Cloak, Soldier Helmet, Rune Blade
Natalie: Pope Hat, Pope Dress, Sentinel
Lance: Officer Hat, Officer Coat, God Hand
It may seem like a really weird layout, but I was going for full Dark/Death/Doom resistance on all characters, and this setup gives you 100% for all of those, except Lance will only have 80% Dark. The Soldier Helmet on Matt could be replaced with pretty much anything you want, but I chose it because it summons Medipacks, which heal about 8K, as well as removing Poisoning. I know a lot of people would recommend going for the Whitemage’s Dress, since it summons Regen, and all that, but I was just trying out a full resistance combination. Basically, most of your damage comes from Matt (use beer, then utilize Akron’s weakness), and Lance can help as well (Airstrike, Plasmacross, Unload). Limit Breaks should be Buffed up Cleaver, Kyun, and Buffed up Oblivion. If you are facing some tough enemies like Cosmic Monoliths, you could use Annihilate for Matt, but it’s not recommended, as you won’t really harm Akron. Natalie (obviously) is keeping the group alive. Use Healmore, Guardian, Barrier, Regen, and Purify to help the boys. Remember, focus on healing your team first (20+ Pizzas is recommended), and then attacking Akron.

BTW, tip for Lvl. 30 Skull Ghosts on Epic: Syphon them if Natalie is busy healing, but if not, just give Natalie a Milk Carton to boost Magic Attack. Then just have Natalie use Judgement on said Skull Ghost. Hyped up Judgement should deal 24K to 35K, and I’d guesstimate you’ll have a 80% chance to instantly kill a full health Skull Ghost. If that fails, just use Shine or Judgement again afterwards.

Hope this basic setup and tips helps, I finished Epic Akron off in about 50 minutes.

I know you get them from doing missions for Mission Kommander, and I’m not sure if you get them from doing 9001/-Infinity Prehistoric, or anywhere else…
Thanks!

You can do the 9001 mission, which gives some, is fairly easy (if you’re lucky enough to not meet a DON’T ATTACK!) but needs a key.The prehistoric mission gives more, but requires you to have good stats to clear it on time (if at all), might be a bit frustrating because of the random rooms (expecially reaction and chain reaction), but is free.

Ok, thanks!

EDIT: I Like The New Skill System,BUT I Don’t Like The New Reset System.

If you don’t like paying, go do some quests for Mission Kommander. Every 10 quests = 1 FREE Skill reset, and you’ll get a (most likely) good amount of EXP/Coins/Pixels just to finish the missions, as well as all the insta-progresses, boosts, Arena EXP, and normal EXP you’ll get for talking to him and actually finishing it.

Whenever I encounted him, I just go to the Shop, then back to 2012.
I dunno about Frosty Zone/Volcano Peak, though…
Even on Hardcore, I can kill pretty much everything in 1 of 2 hits, so it doesn’t really feel like the rewards are high enough to make up for being such a low-level place (for me).

Also, I know you’ve probably seen this question like a trillion times, but how do you unlock Pixel Throw/OM NOM NOM? I know you get Roundhouse Kick from killing Chuck Norris, but I’m unsure about the other ones…
Thanks again!

Same basic advice: Keep upgrading attack until you max it out. Then, try going for a mix of defense + HP. Save up your CM, and just spend pixels on trying to max out all your stats. Eventually you’ll be able to idle in Smiley Land and you’ll be in good condition.

Try to get to the point where you can idle in Smiley Land on casual, and just stay there. Ramp it up to hardcore when you no longer die.

Thank you! I’ve only got around 400K CM right now, so I’ll save that up.

I think for ArcticTrident i would agree with Sagekilla, keep spending pixels on your base attack. If you have access to the secret shop i think it might be wise to put pixel bonus on all your armor just to help you with affording to max out your buyable stats sooner. So yeah get that base attack at least past 30,000 or so and get your base defense past 20,000 or 30,000 also. Then you can probably do casual Smiley Island (alternatively, staying in dragon cave but on hardcore could be good also).

And, thank you!
Yes, I do have the Secret Shop unlocked, so I’ll go buy some Pixel bonuses.

Thank you both for the quick replies and great advice.
:D

Also, quick question:
Would it be a good idea to anti-idle in 2012 with Invisible X, to try to get lots of those Boss drops (the red arrows that give HP, MP, Atk, Def, Accuracy, and Evasion)?

Just wondering if anyone can give me some good ideas on where to idle/anti-idle, what to stock up on, etc.

Level: 1829 (Going up fairly quickly, though)
Arena Rank: 211 (Nearly 212)
Base Max HP: 131,766
Current Max HP: 200,284
Base Max MP: 23,311
Current Max MP: 46,622
Base Attack: 19,335
Current Attack: 22,481
Base Defense: 15,831
Current Defense: 17,730
Base Accuracy: 2,712
Current Accuracy: 32% + 3362
Base Evasion: 2,690
Current Evasion: 48% + 4,546
Min. Damage (0% Rage): 3,370,702
Max. Damage (0% Rage): 5,538,072
(Usually at 100% Rage I have around 16,000,000/19,000,000)
Mastery: 55%
Speed: 17%
Crit. Chance: 38%
Crit. Damage: 284%
Poison Chance: 10%

Weapon: Voulge [+10]
Type: Polearm
Attack: 610
Attack Speed: 12
Defense: 35
Reward +4%
Mastery +8%

Armor:
Full Enchanted Leather (minus the headgear)

Helmet:
Anniversary Hat [+10]
Attack: 7
Attack Speed: 10%
Defense: 206
EXP + 2%
Attack + 2%
(Item Level 6 – EXP:MAX)

If there are any other stats you’d like to know, just say so.
:P

Currently, I’ve been idling in the Dragon Cave on Casual, and Anti-Idling in Smiley Land. (I have a bestiary on everything besides Angry Face, Sad Face, and Devil Face. Although enemies there are still exceptionally tough, I’m trying to get Bestiary and Roflhunter’s Training quest. Once I do that, I can Anti-Idle very easily in the Pirate Ship (Casual or Hardcore)

Thanks!
:)

Start by anti-idling and semi-idling with the Protection Ring equipped. Step by step, you won’t get anywhere unless you try :)

Well, the problem is I don’t have Protection Ring, and you can’t buy them anymore…
Oh, and Bloodsurfer just killed me while idling.
Good-bye rings.

BTW, with Mastery Ring and 14,476 ATK, and 13,922 DEF (Minimum Damage = 3,060,000, Maximum Damage = 3,290,000), where should I be idling?
I am in the Binary Battlefield, but I practically 1-Hit-KO Everything…

You can still sell them, but if you do you can’t use that pet until the explosion. If one had sold all pets before this update, one would get them back for free.

Wait… So, if we sell our pets, we get them for free once they return?

Air Nymph if you have fire in your deck, because you can stack up like 5 Stable Gasses, then ignite and kill your opponent. (Bypasses shields)

x4 wind pillars

basically a pegasus blessing rush deck inspired by a deck idea on the forums.
very effective but watch out for excessive creature control.
if upgraded, it should be able to farm pvp 2
upgrade pillars first to get pegasus out quicker

I do not understand why you need any novas at all. It does not have any relation to the decks strategy. Also, with 4 wind pillars you will have excessive amounts of uneccesary air quanta. Heres my modified version of the deck

Would be better for farming AI3. I dont really recommend farming pvp because of the noobs that take 60 seconds a turn.

i added novas just o speed up the deck a little and the 4 wind pillars are for when i have 3 or more pegasus out and all i have is air mark adding a fog shield or two would be fine but it takes more than an air mark if you get a lot of pegasuses out early. maybe some pendulums would work better the deck can easily be changed also i like farming pvp more because its more fun and i get much more quanta and score and pvp 1 has no upgraded cards unlike lvl3 making it easier to win

Elders can’t have upgraded cards…

Topic: Elements / Vote for the best rare wep and best shield

Best is hard to say, as it depends on the deck, but my favorite are:
Electrocutor
Phase Shield

Also, anyone ever though of having a deck with Gravity Shield, Pulvy, and Elite Oty’s? If you quinted the oty’s, and protected the pulverizer and shield, that could probably make the best combo. :P

I just felt shards would improve chances of Elemental Masteries. I’ve gotten over 40 Elder Elementary Masteries (out of 200, about 20%) because of Shards (with shrieker rush), mostly because the order of your play goes Creatures → Permanents → Weapon. So, I might do 24 Damage to the opponent with shriekers, heal to full health, and then kill with the Pulverizer. I stated the shards weren’t necessary, but were nice. The 10 Pillars/5 Pendulums was to help minimize earthquakes/quicksands, but at the time I just used what I owned, and I only had 5 Aether Pendulums (I didn’t really bother with swapping 2 pillars for pendulums). I have since replaced it, but was just copying down my current HB farmer at the time.
