Boss:
Lichonidas:
An undead Spartan. Go figure.
Hp: 20000
Phase One: Madness?
Spawns 2 Undead Spartans every 10 seconds( 300 health, 20 def, does a lance-like attack fowards causing 200 dmg without counting def). Similar to the minions, does a fowards strong attack that deals 400 dmg without counting def. Also does a shield-bash attack similar to the knight’s that does 100 dmg and slows.
Phase two reaches when at 15000 health: MADNESS?
Does the same, except now spawns 10 undead spartans instead of 2.
Phase three reaches when at 10000: THIS
Does an AoE attack spreading 10 balls across the room that ignore armor and go through several players. They do 80 damage each.
Phase four reaches when at 8000: IS….
Now he also does a whirlwind attack spinning around and dealing 600 damage to any who gets close enough.
Phase five reaches when at 3000: SPARTA!
Holes start appearing in the room at random. The indicator is cracks appearing in the floor. Avoid them to not fall in and get killed.
When killed, he drops T10+ swords, T6 shield guaranteed, 3 pots and 20% chance of dropping “Lichonidas Skull”, a UT item for the nechromance or “Lichonidas’ Shield” The skull does 190-220 damage and heals 160 to all around. The shield does 300-400 dmg and gives 12+ def. The shield only has 2% of dropping.

On Papa’s, I think if you go back and play first game, and then the newest game, you’ll see that a lot of things have changed and been improved. If people still like a game series, I see nothing wrong with a developer continuing to improve the games and make new ones. Heck, Call of Duty and every sports game does it every year, why not Flash game makers too?

Because Flash games are not as good as other games where you have to buy them. For example Call Of Duty. It is bad, but people still buy it due to it’s “just-kill-stuff” form. It’s fun for some people, and it’s good that there is that. But for flash games, such as Papa’s, there are slight improvements but they are not worth it. It’s like you grab Portal, and instead of going on with the storyline you just make the same game, slightly different puzzles and better graphics. Would’ve it been good? No, because it’d be the same thing. Conclusion is, over the time only people that LOVE that style of game will play it, people who were originally interested will not.

Topic: Kongregate / Kongregate getting worse?

The big problem to us gamers is that, while good MMO’s like Battle Dawn or Realm of the Mad God are getting shoved out of the way of popularity, other Pay to win MMOs are occupying this space, making it so many new players don’t find the good ones. And eventually these die out, but in a much slower rate and with a much higher rating than the Pay to win ones. But then the developer that does those good MMOs takes too long/stops making MMOs and there goes another good opportunity. Going to the MMO section and attempt to find a good MMO between the promoted ones is like looking for diamonds in a trash can. You know you might find some, but they are almost never there, and each time you give an MMO an opportunity, it just spits in your face with some pay-to-win content and makes you go " I don’t want to live in this planet anymore."

Thing is most of the children say they are over 13, and there is no real way to find out. I agree: It is normal for charging for more content, however, I don’t like the fact that they charge us (usually) a ridiculous amount of money for virtual goods. Usually the premium currency. If I did want to have a flat-out upgrade than what I already have in a MMO game, I’d buy WoW and then spend on that. Why? Because it is popular, which means lot’s of people will be there, and also more polished better version. Usually it’s not Kongregates fault, but sometimes users just don’t realise you should use reports and mutes instead of " omg ur so gay yo mama so fat lolololol"

Topic: Kongregate / Kongregate getting worse?

Kongregate. The great gaming website that overmatched every other: Armor Games, Newgrounds, amongst others. However, it does seem to slowly becoming worse. Recently, I’ve discovered some things and I have to say, some Kongregate users ( Like me ) were not amused.

1#: Kong Plus? Now, some people may disagree with me, but is this a downgrade? Because honestly, Kongregate has never had a way to make your account premium. There were kreds, which were a slight annoyance, but they were comprehensible because every website/game deserved premium currency to have donations. But Kong Plus just gives a plain upgrade, which in my eyes, is unfair because Kongregate should never expect people to pay to have a premium account. But when they did implement Kong Plus, they were obviously expecting people bought it. Which worked. I’m not saying this was terrible, it was the very will of the buyer to pay for that premium account, to support kongregate. I’m just saying there was no need for that. In my opinion, anyways.

2#: What’s with all the pay-to-play/pay-to-win MMO’s? Seriously? This just occupies space in kongregate. When I read: Thousands of FREE games. Free. That isn’t free. A game that demands you to wait or pay for energy, or that constantly bugs you to buy the premium currency to have flat-out better gear than others is NOT free to play. It’s give-us-money-and-we’ll-give-you-overpowered-things. No. Just no. But other than the developers ( That obviously just want their money) I also think it’s the buyers fault that this happens. Because there is always some 50 kids paying for that stuff. And they shouldn’t. But that is something we can’t avoid. What really sucks is that an awesome game with awesome features is instantly ruined by the greed of the developer, and efficiently making 60% of the people playing it angry/bored and leave.
3#: User incompetence. This is something that will ALWAYS happen, but I’m pointing it out anyway. To any user reading this: In chat, in your profile or in any place of Kongregate, use the mute button. A troll? Don’t feed/mute. An annoying idiot? Don’t feed/mute. Chatroom is full of immature trolls/kids? Call a moderator or if there aren’t many, mute. Plus be respectful with mods. Do understand that they come to the chatroom out of their good will. They aren’t paid. They use time they could be having fun or earning money to cleanse the chatrooms. And while there might be 50 mods, there are hundreds of chatrooms. So PLEASE, only call mods if the chatroom is in critical need of them. This means extreme disrespecting/trolling/spamming. Don’t call a mod the second somebody says " lol ur stupid british suc america ftw ". No. See that shiny little mute button when you click somebodies name? Yeah. Use it. Be respectful towards them. Don’t say they are incompetent useless idiots because goddamit they are not. I hope you understand.

4#: Children. It’s obvious anybody in their right senses reading this would begin to act like they should. Unless they are underaged(Under thirteen, as the conduct says.)/mentally challenged. It’s alright that kids play flash games here, after all that’s the point of Kongregate, but it’s not alright to go to a chatroom and cause trouble. Kids, don’t go to kongregate just because you want to annoy people: If you are here it’s because you want to be playing games. And if you DO want to chat, do it properly. Otherwise you will not only get yourself into trouble, but also other people that lose their nerves too quickly. For the sake of a better Kongregate.

Overall: There maybe be more reasons that Kongregate might becoming slightly less good than they were, but I’m not listing them here does not mean they don’t exist. I just have to thank all the moderators and admins, as well as the creators of Kongregate for offering all of us a great experience. These were simply things that, in my opinion, should be attempted to be fixed. Maybe some don’t have solutions. Maybe others do. All I would wish is for there to be a more clean, better Kongregate. Thanks for reading.

You need to put more information in it. How much HP does it have? What’s the speed? What’s the cooldown of the Q-ability, how does it work, does it just turn everything into lava, because that’s very OP, how much damage can the heat shield take before it goes down, how much ammo does the flame launcher do does it burn foes what’s the speed of the bullets what do you mean with “biggest claws evar” does he grow claws made out of fire or does he like launch them at the enemy how much damage do they do are they even a melee weapon what’s their speed.
Horrible post because we don’t know anything about the class. More info pl0x.

Primary Weapon:
Heavy Assault Rifle

  1. Fires a burst of five 10 damage bullets at the enemy.
  2. Deals high damage to Scouts but lower damage to Tech’s.
  3. 65 ammo in the magazine.

Secondary Weapon:
Electro-Shovel

  1. Can be charged up to deal HUGE amounts of damage to shields. Good for taking out gunners.
  2. Non-charged it does higher damage to suits but low damage to shields.
  3. Since the Private has low strenght, it is slower than the Doped Saber, it strikes 1 time per 3 seconds.

Ability Q:
Tales of Honor ( Inspired by TF2’s Buff Banner)

  1. Adds 25 more damage to every attack by nearby allies. Good for raids with more than 3 Tanks or Privates.
  2. Must give 100 damage before using.
  3. Bonus is increased 5 more for nearby Privates.

Ability E:
Tactical Retreat:

  1. Gives a comical look to the Private while running for his life. During this boost, the Private will be running like the little sissy he is and cannot shoot while in this mode. Lasts for 7 seconds.
  2. 30 seconds cooldown.

Overall, the Private is best for the front lines. Don’t rely on him though. His a coward when losing.

everything you have mentioned in that post is EXTREMELY underpowered BESIDES the Q-bility of him, which is EXTREMELY OVERpowered. if it’s a front-lines type of class he should have

HP:250
Shield:150 (everbody has 150 shields)
Max speed: 28-30 (45.x when jumping/jetpack)

The primary weapon, HAR is also UP, 5 bullets that do 10 damage without factoring armour? if it does 10 to tanks, does that mean that it does 15+ to scouts? good sized clip, but maybe 60 would be better. and, does it shoot SLOWER than the AR, like the SMG? or between pulser and SMG? because if you are hipfiring that, it would be in INCREDIBLE amount of DPS.

the secondary is a pretty good idea… but it’s swing should be between saber and mauler, or equal to the mauler. and how much damage would it do? would it take out the entire shield of the opponant like the saber dash does, or would it do extra damage also when fully charged? because the saber dash is already a little OP if you ask me.

the Q-bility is way, Way, WAy, WAY, WAYYYYYY too OVERpowered, because you don’t want a gunner, that does 20-30 damage doing 45-55 damage PER BULLET. that’s INSANE the damage boost should be 10 OR LESS. it could just give HIM a damage bonus. and 5 to nearby privates

the mele[E] of him does no damage whatsoever, and makes him a sitting duck, it would be funny to see somebody running like the pansy they are if they run, but it just wouldn’t allow them to get away, unless they get scout Q-bility speed.

Firstly, the Q-bility could be lowered, like you said, except 10 plus damage to each Private and 5 to other classes. And you see the small circled area around the Surpressor? That’d be the area of effect of the Tales of Honor. Again, it would have like a 50 seconds cooldown, but remember the 100 damage. Since the Private is so low-health, it’d be a top target and so even in the back lines the player has to be careful. For the Q ability, if lowered, it’d be to underpowered because you need to pick on small targets like the scout and ambush them, given that the Private isn’t that really much of a threat without his Q-bility. Yes, the E-ability would allow him to run as fast as the scout’s Q-ability, it has longer duration but a cooldown of 60 seconds (?!). His HAR is just like the Gunners. The Electro-Shovel does around 20 more damage charged up, but if the enemy has full shield it does no damage to the suit. Accompained with a grenade and his HAR, he can quickly dispatch a gunner ( Gunners? ), provided they are unaware of his presence. Now, the Q-abillity is simply just how it is. I think that 10+ to nearby privates and 5+ to other classes is a pretty good boost considering he has to at least take out one class before using it and has a cooldown of 50 seconds. He is not meant to be a reliable class, just a little support pillar to the team. I’d say he is a good class for:

  1. Ambushing 1 or 2 sniping gunners. The Shuttle Bay side places where gunners usually go for sniping is an ideal place for him to get his Tales of Honor up, and he could even use his Electro-Shovel to charge up and destroy their shields, then rain grenades on them. It is fast as the Mauler, so it’s best to switch to the HAR.
  2. Supporting nearby raids. If he has Tales of Honor prepared, he can activate it and give a pretty nice boost to the team, so it’s more easy to dispatch Surpressor nests and masses of enemies.
  3. Survivability. I experienced in TF2 times when, my Medic had his ubercharge ready to go or my Soldier had his Buff Banner ready: They get imediatly killed. This time the Private could use his “escape” ability to run away comicly and return to the base. It’s a win-win. Except to the enemy team, but hey, who cares!

i’m not saying that the class is a bad idea, i’m just saying that he needs nerfs and buffs everywhere you go.

you didn’t say anything about my HP proposition, if it’s a support class, then it should have close to the tech, right?

the person uses his E-ability, can he fly? because you said the animation should be him flailing his arms around running comically, would that not allow him to us his jetpack for an extra speed boost? can he jump? if he stayed with 50 speed, there would be no need for the mele[E]. so the 28-30 is reasonable.

the primary weapon in NO WAY should fire as fast as a regular AR. you do not see ANY heavy weapon that would be able to shoot faster than the lighter, more maneuverable original, so between the HMG and the SMG would be better, or the pulser and SMG.

the secondary does how much damage on a normal swing? if it can take out a shield charged up, then that means it does 130 damage per hit? i’d rather stick with that than using the HAR.

i take it we agree on the debuff for the Q-bility to +10 to teammates and self, and +5 to other privates? BUT what about stacking, how many times would it stack, would it be beneficial to just have a team of 10 privates at moonbase, stacking their abilities all at once, giving everybody a 60 damage bonus to EACH shot? or would there be no stack? if it stacks, how many times? if it doesn’t stack, there would be no need to lower the damage output bonus to other privates, because their ability is null and void. ALSO, would it buff healing of the tech’s repair beam?

those are my issues with that class, it is UP and OP all over the place. if you fix those, then i would LOVE to see that class in game, as long at it’s on my team, giving ME the damage bonus =P

It’s better if we go without stacking, because otherwise there’d be 5 or 10 privates on every game making stacks on a tank and giving him an OP boost. No stacking. No buffing tech’s repair team, because it’s an offensive tool, not a defensive one. The Electro-Shovel does around 15 damage to suits but without charging it does no damage to suits, so it is required that it should be charged up before attacking anybody with it. The E-ability allow to use Jetpack and Jumping, and it keeps the speed boost. That’s it, basicly. You are right with the HAR and stuff.

Hmm… actually, I think that the the Tech Will be Anti-Blazer. Because, well, Tank is Anti-Scout, Gunner is Anti-Tech, and Scout is Anti-Gunner. Because the poor, poor Tech isn’t really Anti-anything! :P

Actually, the Tank is EVERYTHING but anti-scout. Remember the scout can easily avoid his primary weapon’s projectiles. That leave him to dispatch the scout with the Mauler. Tough time for tanks.

I’ve seen various ocasions where people ask for coins in chat. To all asking for coins: You can get Honor Points and rent guns( I assume) and then with these guns you earn more honor points to rent more guns.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Doom Forge] New people READ THIS.

Every new gamer of this game read me.

I’ve seen several people complaining about durability.
There are several ways to win money: Fighting of course, selling and doing jobs.
Each time you win 5 times in a row you can claim a victory prize that consists of around 250 silver and a small potion.
Skirmish doesen’t earn much money.
ALWAYS do something in Trade, either it’s gathering or a job.
Meanwhile your gathering or doing a job, fight in arena and claim lot’s of victory prizes.
Once you start repeatedly doing this don’t forget to repair your stuff every now and then because it degrades every time you lose, and your sword degrades every time you win.
Your “green” items can be upgraded to do more damage, so spend some silver in that.
