This guy doesn’t seem to realize you can get almost everything from fairly common drops or just trade scrapped drops for stuff, and the few things you can’t get from drops (IE strange stuff) is PURELY cosmetic and offers no advantage whatsoever, as well as also being available through trading.

The amount of stupidity going on in this thread is slowly sapping my sanity.
Look: It doesn’t matter about strength or gender: If you pull the trigger, bullets come out of the gun and kill people they hit. There’s no need for any sort of discrimination in the armed forces, it doesn’t matter who it is pulling the trigger or getting the trigger pulled on them. And to get past training, they HAVE to be fit both physically and psychologically for combat. Durr. If women want to go out and die for their country as well as men, so be it. War doesn’t care. War never cares.

Most likely, it will end due to humanity being asshats. Some scientist is going to create a plague, or accidentally set the atmosphere on fire. Somebody is going to decide that thermonuclear war is an acceptable course of action in some crisis, launch an ICBM, and within an hour and a half civilization is gone and everyone still alive will starve to death in an underground bunker. Maybe we’ll just keep on trashing the planet, and get fried by solar radiation after the ozone ceases to exist. Who knows? We will go out with a bang, that’s for sure, whether it’s the sun or a gun or a bomb.
