Rathbone-VV-Ranec. It might work on some.

Topic: General Gaming / Feudalism II Sucks

I ran this on Windows Vista ultimate and had a lot of trouble with saves. I didn’t figure out how to get to the ‘save menu’ for the game and had to start at the same random place the system saved on subsequent game reloads. Said another way, the auto save function doesn’t seem to work in a predictable way, at least not to me. The save function, and maybe it’s a Mozilla/Vista issue or maybe not, doesn’t work for me.

The game needs better graphics. The two dimensional look of Feudalims I grows old in this game. The ‘up close’ battles require a more detailed set of images for the characters, weapons, effects of weapons – just about everything. Shaded and textured images for characters, scenery, and background would be nice.

I found the ‘card’ portion of the game – the system of spells – a bit tedious. Is this a card game, RPG, simulation, or what?

The evoultion of Feudalism, the game, should’ve gone in a different direction.
