Giant Weapons! The reach of the weapons seems normal, not super long. The animations works with these giant weapons, no problems with them going through the walls and floor. It was normal yesterday.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Dungeon Legends] Starters Help

Because all characters share the inventory, I think starting off with the Mage is a great way to get gear for the Warrior. But traps and a lot of enemies in a small area are very hard for my Mage. My Warrior (with gear I got playing my Mage) is doing great though.

I’m not trying to make a super hard dungeon, in stead, I made a super easy dungeon! The Boss is in a large room west of the starting point. The rest of the mobs are north of the starting point, no traps. Currently level 23.

1 is a good idea but 3 is a very bad idea. Exp: There are only 2 level 1 dungeons, so if I’m not good enough to complete a level 2 dungeon, I would only be able to play 6 games a day.

It seems that I can only do a dungeon once without refreshing my browser. The second time I try a dungeon I get:

“The content was stopped because of a fatal content error has been detected.”

after shooting a few fire balls.

I’m using Google Chrome on Win 7 (everything up to date). I wasn’t getting this error message last month when I played last.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Dungeon Legends] Starters Help

I’m very new myself, (mage level 5, warrior level 4) but this is what I’ve found.

1) The Mage is much easier at the start because you can run and shoot, killing the enemies, without getting hit at all (just watch out for traps). The warrior can kind-of run and hit without getting hit much, but it is much easier and faster with the mage.

2) After the tutorial, select a level 1 dungeon. Even though your gear is good enough (at least the mages) to do harder dungeons, the Sobbin’ Globins level is a bit hard for a new warrior.

3) Look for dungeons that will let you fight the boss first. After killing the boss, you can look for some weaker stuff to kill, or just leave and kill the boss again and again.

4) If you are looking for gear and skills, focus on killing bosses. If you are looking for crafting mats, coins, and exp; clear the weakers mobs in the dungeons also.

5) I sort the dungeons by % win, then look for the level I want with a high win %.

6) It seems the level of the dungeon determines what the mobs drop. Exp: I go into a level 1 dungeon, kill the boss, and get a few items. Then I go into a level 6 dungeon, same looking boss, about same number of hits, and I get a lot more items.

Topic: Kingdoms CCG / Grinding Money?

Normal Story cost 4 energy, a lose gives 0 gold, and a win gives 75 gold.

Hard Story cost 5 energy, a lose gives 0 gold, and a win gives 150 gold.

Beginner Arena cost 4 energy, a lose gives 50 gold, and a win gives 100 gold.

Standard & Limited Arena cost 6 energy, a lose gives 150 gold, and a win gives 300 gold.

So for you thewookie, fighting a Hard level that you can finish fast is the best way to earn Gold. Sometimes I jump into Standard Arena with that 8 HP Hero and don’t play any cards. Fast way to earn Gold without paying attention to the game.

Topic: Berserk Universe / Pros, Cons, & Suggestions

Pros:

1) No energy!

2) Can get Ounces (real $$ in-game currency) for free by logging in every day.

3) Tournaments seem based off skill because everyone gets new cards to use and can not use their old cards.

Cons:

1) The game is based on a lot of luck. Fighting is very random/luck dependant due to dice rolls. You must have 30-50 cards in a deck, 15 are randomly selected for you to put into battle, but you can only use a max of 12-14 cards.

2) Very slow to gain Imperials (free in-game currency) and extremely slow to gain Ounces (real $$ in-game currency) for free.

3) Completing quests in the main way to gain Imperials.

4) Quests seem very hard/random to complete.

5) No PvE other than training, but you might have a quest that asks you to win some training matches.
6) PvP only gives exp, but can help you complete quests.

7) The shop: has 9 cards for sell at a time , and it changes every 8 hours.

8) The shop: has mini-packs for sell for Imperials, but you can only get common cards from packs.

9) Tournaments cost Ounces to play.

10) Pets let you sell cards, but die if you don’t feed them, food cost Imperials. Seems that unless you are buying hundreds of cards, Pets are worthless.

11) No info about the different elements at the start of the game when you must pick an element.

12) Can not change you element, not even for Ounces. Can not make another “character” on the same account.

Suggestions:

1) Have free tournaments at least once a day WITH some prizes.

2) You should win some Imperials for all PvP matches, win or lose.

3) Reduce the minimal deck size to 20 to reduce the luck factor.

4) Allow us to change elements for free!

5) Add Tyrant style PvE.

6) Add custom card building.

7) Change the shop; all single cards should be able to be bought at any time, mini-packs should have a small chance of giving frequent/rare/ultra-rare cards.

8) Change pets. Not much of a point of having them now unless you are spending a few hundred dollars on the game a month.

Conclusion:

I give the game 2/5 because it works, but it seems like another money grabbing facebook game ported to Kong.

I wouldn’t call ship combat fun because you don’t control anything during the fight. Most of us start combat, then go do other things without watching the fight. It is just a grind.

EDIT: I just bought my second batch of commanders. I found out in order to merge commanders, they must be in Card form. You can pay 120 MP to put them back in card form… This is the money grabbing rip off I was waiting for from a game like this! Rating changed to 1/5.
