thats the logic behind it. If Edge wont raise the resale of rares and other cards or implement a trade in system, the maybe they can introduce a new card that can be sold for a higher gem price. it would have to be more than 2k for it to be of any value. I know at this point i would rather get a Gem card than a ninja fox, battle ax, repair plate or etc

$$$ card – (rare) sell for 2k- 3k

as of now, you can sell a rare monster/equipt for 1k. why not have a card whose purpose is to be sold for gems. epics can be sold for 5k

obtain rare evo crystals (rare lvl 1—>2 or 2—>3) in master packs

as of now, an epic card costs $50 to buy, a rare card costs $20 to buy. a rare evo crystal costs $10 to buy. By having a rare evo in master packs, edge is not losing any money and offers another way for players to get the crystals. Edge can even go as high as to offer the epic evo crystals in master packs but I doubt that ll even get considered.

i agree with msr. I m in Diamond and the “Hard” battles wre pretty easy. i didnt run into Kuat/Valk/Callum once.. not complaining but looking at the leaderboard, it seems like everyone won at least 75% of their hard fights

I understand the profit side of the argument but you’re forgetting that if players become bored/frustrated with running into the kuats of the duels system.. players will stop playing and leave. No players = no profit. This idea was merely a suggestion to prolong Edgebee’s product and offer other areas of gameplay. for example, back in the day when everyone played Doom, when it was all said and done, there were 67868756 expansion packs that offered different modes of gameplay.

Edgebee can stick with thier current model of having layers investing time and $$$ into getting better cards but at some point they will need to reintroduce the strategy side of this game as it is already heading down the path of pay to play to dominate.

Going off of Jador’s comment:

I believe if Edgebee were to create a sealed deck duel system they would have predetermined rarities (4 rare, 8, uncommon, 8 common) with the appropriate matching monster/equipment card colors. The cards would still be random but you wouldnt be stuck with 4 chaos monsters and 3 war equipment cards.

We would each open a pack of 20 cards with there being a set ratio of cards (8 creature/8 equipment/4 items) before each match (see below). We would then have a couple of mins to choose a deck. After every match, we would be given a fresh pack of cards to use or be able to switch cards out using the cards from the pack we were given.

My idea about implementation/gameplay was more on the tournament side: The entry would either be Reputation points or Gems with the reward being a card or gems. There would be varying levels of competition which would have varying rewards. The tournaments would have to be mirrored after sit-n-go tournament where maybe 6/8/10 people entered and played each other for a solid 15/30 mins straight with 3-5 rounds. Since we are all scattered across the world, having a mass tournament in live play would be nearly impossible.

The upside for Edgebee is that this will keep players playing and offer other ways to obtain cards/gems. For us as players, we get to use our smarts and strategic skills to win a match without fear of running into an all epic deck.

I agree with you on Musculard card being ridic OP… then again, I just want one.. 4 crystals to get 50 hp, 40 damage and reach… I wonder what the stats are for all of the matches where Musculard is played… probably 80% of the time, the deck playing Musculard wins?

Not sure if this was an isolated incident or what but I was in the middle of round 3 or 4 in the mushroom swarm when the game just stopped, the music was still playing but the cpu did not bring out any more cards. I had the game on auto (all my cards were sacrificed or on the field) and the counter at the top was down to a number that suggested I would survive thru the remaining rounds.
