Topic: Forum Games / General Thread

Today was the first day of my return. How long has it been? 65 days. 1560 hours. 93600 minutes, plus minus. It didn’t sound like much, but it felt like eternity. It certainly was in internet times. What have I done 65 days ago? Did I ever say goodbye? I did not remember ever doing that. I did not know if they’d still remember me. I was once a big shot here. At least, I sometimes think that I was one. I was young, full of ideas that I just spit out without thinking. What emerged were the things I would most like to be locked away in the darkest corners of my memories, never to be seen again. Later I thought more. My ideas were more developed, astute, funny. But still, only one of my ideas actually managed to use their immense potential, and it’s concept was based on the idea of someone else. I looked over at the others, who became legends, you had to have psychological tricks and nimble reflexes to fight in their games, otherwise you just could not win. I was jealous, jealous of their creativity and the loyalty of their players, a fact which was rarely given in my games. How many times a good game of mine was ruined by inactivity. Sometimes I was the inactive one. How much of a hypocrite was I to do this, both in the games I made and in the one I played.
I saw that my Kongday was approaching, and already had the idea for a game with which I could celebrate my big comeback. The only question was:
Would the other play it?

It was an armour-piercing question, one that made me think. It made me think, if I was even worth it to play here, or if I should just stay away. They were few games that interested me, and maybe other thought the same. My games included in the ‘Not worth it’ scale. It was an interesting thought. If my games were created by others, would I even want to play them? Maybe. Some of the better ones. Homo homini lupus was good, I would have played it. Was it my Magnum opus? Definitely not. But it was a game I liked creating. And I would continue to like creating games. The question raised again. Just thinking about it made me sink in fear. Fear of everything.
Would the others play?

Time will tell? Maybe, but it’s not a question of time. It’s a question of willpower.

Finally something that’s worth replying to.
I liked the Artemis Fowl series, especially the first three. With 4 it goes into a deep hole with 5, only to have a slowly rise in 6 and 7. I haven’t read 8 yet.

The Manga I always recommend are Detective Conan and Magic Kaito, since it features a real but somewhat blurred world, with an original idea and lots of open questions and fan theories. However I suggest this since the english version is 1. way behind 2. changes content/names.

Favourite book would be (being an union) Outbound Flight/Survivor’s Quest duo by Timothy Zahn

From what I’ve understood, you charged 50$ in Kreds, so you should e-mail kreds@kongregate.com for any problem with that, if that’s not the case, contact support@kongregate.com They will probably help you in any concern.

Or that issue has no connection to that, and has very different reasons I cannot possible think of.
