Hello,

I was doing a quest, which had the whole share link etc. The reward (outside of the top 3) for the quest was a “Censored Mace” with 13 0 13 stats… something I could really use. So I throw out my 5 hits, share the link “http://www.kongregate.com/games/DisruptorBeam/game-of-thrones-ascent?kv_origin=/play/join_quest/56923612” wait a couple minutes to be sure it’s done, refresh… and it’s gone… and I get no rewards, no quest completion. Nothing….. wtf is going on?

I’ve been trying to make another entry, with a carved pumpkin in the Kongregate K style, with bloody insides and a bloody carving knife stuck in it, with nice dripping blood text into a nice bloodpool… however making it on such small scale, it keeps coming out sucky >_<

That’s pretty sucky, why offer the items in the shop all related to points, if they can’t be gotten =/ It’s like showing someone a picture of a bar of gold “This is what it’d look like if you had one of your own, for now, just look and cry yourself to sleep over the fact you’re poor”

Ok, so just HOW are we supposed to get points? I’ve tried clicking the “top up points” button many times from shop and inventory screen in the shop, and done on 3 different browsers, and it does nothing… just click and click and nothing happens.

So, anyone know how to donate to the game in order to purchase points?

Hi all,

Let me introduce myself, my name is Tim, on here I’m known as Acemarch, and elsewhere on a fair few games, known as Spectre. I’m a coder of php text based games on the net, the main one of which I work on is Eternal Duel. And that is why I’m here today, after talking with the game owner Matt, we’ve decided to put the feelers out there for some developers to create some games for us to host on the site. Now the games would need to follow as best as they can, the dynamic and story of Eternal Duel (I’ll start using ED from now on). So would like to use the races of ED, characteristics, maybe some NPC names of staff past and a present.

Now this is a new venture for us really, but what we’d be looking for is some good quality (and secure) games, such as a nicely worked out Tower Defence game, maybe mini RPGs, the kind of thing that would fit nicely into the main game as a side game. Ideally it’d have the power to send scores and statistics to and from the server DB so we can have scoring and ranking pages for our own handouts of ingame prizes.

Now Matt, the game owner and server runner (he also runs other things such as Cyberarcadeworld) is willing to pay obviously, but of course, payment would be negotiable with him, and based upon the concept, work, and finished article. Also, I’m fairly sure he’d be willing to offer some kind of advertising space for the developer(s) to promote their other games and so forth.

Ok, I KNOW I’m going to get no end of flaming from the ignorant out there for this, but, if people want to waste their time flaming, that’s their perogative and their own contructive use of time.

Anywho, onto the main crux of things. I’m a coder, i work in php mainly, i work on a couple of text based MMORPGs, I would like to get into flash, so I got adobe CS3 (as you do lol) and am really at a loss for where to begin. My main aim in things, is basically, I’d like to create a little texas hold ‘em poker game, to embed into a content page on one of the games I work on, on which it will use current player information and certain fields for name, and chips etc (which they will exchange for gold at a cashout page in php or something). Basically would want a table listing thing, for up to 10 players, and private room kinda options etc too…. sounds big >_< and I truly have NO idea where to start, or even most basic flash stuff, so this is me asking, for any developers willing to lend a guy a hand and point him in the right directions for tutorials for this kinda thing, or someone able to guide me a bit with basics (so far I have a poker table and chairs I made in photoshop and that’s about it), just one coder to another, I could really use some help.
