Topic: Clicker Heroes / Ancient

Siylatas=Libertas. Their usefulness is equal. I would get them first. The primal ancients are a waste unless you have a solid number of Hero Souls already.

Go Siylatas, Libertas, and Vaagur. After those, Fraagsworth and Bhaal are the most useful to get. Those 5 ancients are basically the only essentials for immediately and drastically making yourself wayyyyyy stronger. The other ones are for when you have thousands of Hero Souls.

I would max out Vaagur and then get Siylatas and Libertas to level 15 or 20. Then get Fraagsworth and Bhaal to level 10. That’ll be about 700 Hero Souls worth of upgrading.

Topic: Clicker Heroes / Late-game hero power

With equal guilds in my game, Frostleaf>Samurai>Ivan>Treebeast>>Natalia when between the levels of 1000 and 1999.

Those heroes have way more guilds than the rest of my team so I can’t comment on the others.

Frostleaf is very close to Samurai. Ivan is a little better than Treebeast. Natalia is a lot worse than Treebeast.

You can’t go wrong if you guild and level up Frostleaf, Samurai, Ivan, and Treebeast. They are a good variety and it looks like they’re the strongest based on other people’s numbers.

Topic: Clicker Heroes / Should i use DR or no?

If you do a 10% Dark Ritual 8 times, you’ll increase your DPS by 115%.

Right now I’m on level 600 and my progress has slowed to a crawl. I had 900 Hero Souls before I started this run. In order to double my DPS I’d have to collect another 900 Hero Souls. This run I’ve collected 650 Hero Souls and it’s been a couple casual days of playing. So I could ascend to increase my DPS by 72% or I could do 6 Dark Rituals and get the same effect without having to ascend. The more Hero Souls you have, the less important ascending is because you’ll need more Hero Souls for that ascension to have any significant impact on your DPS.

TL;DR – Dark Ritual makes a huge difference the more Hero Souls you have banked. Once your progress slows way down, if you don’t have many Hero Souls you should ascend and not worry about Dark Ritual at all.

I just saw that Natalia, Ice Apprentice gets a 10x boost at level 1000. And she’s a 100/100/100/150 hero. How is she not one of the best? Maybe there are a bunch of heros that got 10x and I just haven’t noticed yet.

I just had a huge memory leak that used up all 32GB of my RAM. Don’t know if it was the game or the shockwave player. First time it’s happened to me. Even after I shut Chrome down I was at 100% RAM usage and paging to my SSD. Really weird. Had to restart my computer to free up my memory again.

Yeah, it’s stupid. The game is made so you have to grind, yet the earlier levels keep getting harder and harder the more you level up. So there is really no good place to grind. Every level is hard after you beat it.

A skip turn would also be nice. I’d rather skip a player who has 150% damage when trying to subdue a monster and use a 50% player. Much better chance to subdue.

Well, leveling up allows you to get better dice that gives you a higher average damage per turn.

But I do agree there should be a change to how rolling and losing a turn works. The freeze method seems great at first thought. You won’t immediately lose a turn if you freeze a die, but your damage/turn will decrease significantly where continuing to roll is less rewarding and therefore more risky.

So if you have one attack die and roll a 1, turn is immediately over.

If you have two attack die and roll a 1 and a 6, one die will freeze and you’ll be able to continue rolling your one remaining die if you wish, at a rate of around half your normal damage per turn.

Right now it’s more frustrating to play than anything, since there is so much variance that it comes down to luck almost every dungeon. Each room in each dungeon has a random amount of monsters with random strength levels of monsters. Pretty high variance with that alone. But then when you add in the variance in how you attack (and get attacked) the variance becomes way too overwhelming. You just end up getting mad at the game because sometimes a dungeon can be really hard and the next time you try it you can go through undamaged.

Just give everybody an unlimited amount of roids and lunar. Make breeding like 10 minutes for all rarity levels. Hatch them in 10 minutes as well.

As it stands, I don’t see how anyone will keep playing this game. I won’t play anymore unless everything is quick and enjoyable. We’ve been grinding for a year and it’s been torture. Let people have fun in god mode for the last 50 days. Nobody is going to spend anymore money anyways.

The whole alliance system is retarded and broken anyways. I’ve never used alts because the game isn’t that good where I want to be spending extra hours grinding. It gets boring very quickly. The game needs a more expansive single player dynamic where you can keep playing without feeling like you’re grinding hard. Like an infinite cave where you fight stages of monsters and earn more rewards the longer you survive. The multiplayer aspect of the game is a snore fest.

Serplex has Epic stats and an average moveset. Definitely not as strong as other Legendaries, and its moves aren’t as good as some either.

Breeding is such a buzzkill. If the Devs weren’t so secretive about their formulas it wouldn’t leave everyone guessing and frustrated about how stupid hard it is to breed.

Like how using more orbs can give you worse odds when the description is “greatly increases your odds of breeding a higher rarity – can use multiple to increase chances”. It’s just infuriating that the Devs are using different formulas than what they are leading everyone to believe. Is it that hard to post things so we know what’s going on?!

They say the fun part is being a community and finding these things out, but it’s not fun. It also takes forever. If we wanted a statistically significant report using every variable associated with breeding, we would need to compile like 10,000+ breeding results. And even then there will be errors.

It just takes the fun out of the game for everyone when you see some people getting lucky and breeding legendaries at a 5%+ rate when you’re stuck at .5% and you’re wondering wtf is going on. You don’t know if it’s variance, if you’re doing something wrong, or if breeding is just the worst thing in the world. And when that’s the only thing left to do for end-game players it can drive you nuts.

I tried it with orbs for at least 10 tries. Seemed horrible even though I thought it’d be best. Got a couple 4hr eggs mixed in with 5hr. Not a very big sample size though. Could be the best combo for all we know.

I’ve had mild success with Pink + Yupyak + 2 sigils/orbs. I’ve tried that combo probably 40 times (20 times with 2 sigils and 20 with 2 orbs) and have gotten 3 more Pink (2 from sigils and 1 from orbs). Still very bad odds. Breeding any other epic beast is at least 50% when using orbs it seems like.

Saleh’s idea is simpler and better. Do that and simply give us some arena levels to grind for a variety of huge stat crystals. I mean, to max out just one stat (225 boost), it would still take 32 huge crystals. That would still be a lot of grinding, especially if you want to fully roid all stats. You’d still have to replay arenas hundreds of times to fully roid a single beast, so it’s not like it’s some super shortcut to creating the perfect beasts.

Having it be a prize seems like a great idea. It can’t be abused that way. Trading would bring some spice back into this game.
