Clayton
Approx. 24 hours ago
After yet another day of doing next to nothing, I had decided to retreat to a park not far from my home. I noticed that small group of young Normals had gathered beneath the massive, bean-like sculpture, and were challenging each other to climb the structure’s smooth exterior. Without a word, I effortlessly climbed the sculpture in a manner of seconds, leaving the group in awe. They each attempted to scramble after me, but each time they barely made it halfway up. Chuckling to myself, I slid down the opposite side and ran towards another nearby structure, a massive glass block overlooking a reflecting pool, and quickly scaled that as well. Taking a second to catch my breath, I pulled out one of the coins I carry at all times and began to flip it.

Only a few flips later, I catch the coin, only to find that it had been warped and partially melted. I looked down to see a young man, tongue of fire in hand, laughing to a couple others. I made my way down to him. “Do you really think that was funny?”
“Well you seem to be pissed off, so yea-” I didn’t give him enough time to finish answering before I planted one foot squarely in his chest, knocking him into the water. His two friends each grab one of my shoulders, at which point I’ve pulled out another coin and begun to flip it. As it spun through the air, both of their eyes followed it involuntarily. “Heads.” As they’re distracted, I kicked out one’s knee, forcing him to the ground, while the other has his arm twisted behind his back and is thrown on top of the other. The coin landed, coming up heads.
With these three out of the way, I began to notice that they clearly weren’t alone. At least twenty others, seemingly all Elementals started advancing towards me. Shit. No time to deal with all of them. I turned to the nearest uninvolved person and immediately punched him in the throat. Caught off guard, but angry nonetheless, others start running towards me, visibly upset by my actions. Nothing like a good riot… Soon, a sizable crowd gathered around me, shouting profanities at me and the others involved, and it didn’t take long for them to erupt into pandemonium. The crowd quickly dissolved into a huge brawl, me and the Elementals in the center of the chaos. I somehow managed to fight my way out and made it about a block before the area was swarming with police cruisers.

Present
Connor, what the hell is taking you so long? I sit quietly, flipping my coin as I wait to be released.

Name: Clayton Gray
Age: 18
Appearance: 5’9", slightly above average build, medium-length brown hair, green-brown eyes, wears jeans, t-shirts, and an advanced wristband on left arm
Lucky Item: Coins, usually half dollar coins
Bio: Clayton did not have the same innate aptitude for magic as his brother as a child, but was determined to become skilled at physical magic. Soon, he began to think of his training as cheating in his pursuit of strength, and forced himself to forget this knowledge in favor of hard work to achieve strength. He has a short temper and is easily frustrated, as exhibited by the disproportionate number of fights he started as a child. Despite his tendency towards violence, he likes to spend time tinkering with electronics and other mechanical devices. He has a strange attraction towards matters of chance, and has never lost a coin toss, going to the point that he can call it correctly in the middle of a fight. He has worked hard to hone his physical skills to the point that he poses a challenge to any fighter, mage and normal alike, a true testament to his level of determination.

[Could it be? I’m actually posting? It seems that Mojang and Bethesda have loosened their hold on me, so I plan on posting more often now.]

I let out a short groan at Connor’s initial attempts to wake me from my near-catatonic state, but manage to force my eyes open to find Solaris patting my face for whatever reason. “Nyeh… Can’t let a guy sleep for a few minutes? I happen to like the black swirling void of my dreams.” I stand up and stretch, pondering recent events and wondering what to do about them.

With all the apathy of a boulder, I kick Connor into Solaris. I stand up, grinning to myself, then walk to the bow of the ship.

Completely ignoring the above commotion, Connor and I have been attempting to learn the nature of the spellbook entrusted to him, and it seems he’s capable of healing minor injuries at this point. Barely surprised by an apparent comet breaking through the ceiling, I turn to see a woman pointing a peculiar shotgun directly at me, pulling the trigger, and sending me back a step from a sudden blast to the face. With several gashes gouged into my flesh, I step forward and grab her by the throat. “Big mistake.” I drag her behind me and climb above deck. “Someone care to explain who this idiot is?”

Of course the floating city was shattered for an indiscernible reason! Why am I not surprised? Despite having his fun cut short, Michael’s been sitting on a mostly stable rock, sent away from the main city while it crumbled into chaos. What had they called it, etinarg? The strange stone intrigued the man, where some plummeted to the earth, other pieces floated up to mingle among the clouds, where others just moved aimlessly about the sky, much like he was now, leisurely wiping blood from his sword and clothes while disposing of the few bodies that accompanied him. Wonder what the others are up to.

(I apologize if the properties of etinarg are incorrect. I’ve just been skimming the posts and will fix if someone says otherwise.)

I dodge between falling slabs of stone, various elemental volleys, and the claws of the lower mutants as the desperately attempt to do me harm. The lucky ones are killed instantly, my swords severing vital blood vessels or A physical blow spilling blood and brains on the street. Those that survive are mostly too weak to stand and are helpless as they slowly bleed to death, though a few make halfhearted attempts to strike back as I sprint farther into the crown, all the while laughing and grinning like a mental patient.
I thrust both blades into a wall to my right and watch the movements of the advancing horde. Time to have a little fun. I grab the arm of a hulking mutant with massive claws and skewer a rather scrawny, but determined mage, electric currents still arcing from his eyes and mouth. It takes little effort to use this excess energy against the larger one, breaking it’s arm at the elbow and plunging the claws into the base of the spine, shorting out it’s nervous system. I break off one of the claws while jumping onto another mutant’s shoulders, snapping it’s neck with my calves. The claw find itself buried in the chest of one mutant and severs the carotid artery of another.
I hear a loud, berserker-like yell and turn to see a particularly large mutant, maybe a foot or two taller and a few hundred pounds heavier than any mutant here. It has skin with a similar appearance to quartz,  giving it a golemlike quality. Stranger still, it has absolutely no sensory organs to speak of, basically a body with no head. Geomancer? It begins to charge me, though I vault over it’s head and onto it’s back. Holding on with my left arm, I thrust my hand into the creature’s neck, severing what little nervous system it has and separating the spine from it’s skull. As the beast crashes to the ground, I leap towards the my swords, grab both of them, and rebound back into the horde.

I stand expressionless, though I am curious about this new city. Especially why we waited until now to travel here and why we’re moving farther away from Giza. I hear Connor’s comment and immediately look up. “What the hell are you talking about?”

I step forward to face the giant, my expression a mixture of surprise and rage. “You could say that. This thing has tried to kill me on a few occasions.” The demon watches me intently, observing even the smallest movement. “What the hell are you doing in Giza?”
“Where Nick goes, we go.”
“We? Sarah’s here?”
