Depends on which units your using for AT. If your using zooks look up brutalized killzone research on zooks and place your bunkers in the deadzones. If your using AT guns just pause the game and move them close to each other when a situation happens where FF is likely. However note that unless a 222 comes along the bottom units should not be able to reach your bunkers. You may just be lacking enough suppressive force. That why tanks and the halftrack with the at upgrade are dangerous because they have a fast RoF and they don’t have anything you can do to make them not shoot.

Topic: Mud and Blood 2 / A few questions

I been steadily getting better (average wave 120ish on a decent game. but I have a few questions on some gameplay elements.

1. I remember reading somewhere that an officer put in a pillbox would not be able to raise moral, add TP, or reduce flankers for as long as hes in the pillbox. Is this true?

2. If I put a unit on the very edge of a pillbox will enemies try to engage that unit?

3. Is the shotgun a really good weapon for a maxed soldier or scout at close range?

4. Does anyone have any good experience with the Fifty? Whenever I tend to buy it it seems to miss more often then not and rank up slowly. Is there a point where if you buy it early enough or get a +5 rifle/gun crate or two where it become good?

You should have seen the two spops I got in a random deploy that played hot potato with their grenades. Within 2 second they killed each other. I think I got the wrong “special” ops. But I still say the 222 is the unit that gets me killed more often then not. I had another game earlier again beasting even 3 Wespes in a row. Then one 222 comes along the bottom and I started to lose fast.

I find it funny no one has said this. Wespes and tigers and all that crap might be fine and deadly. But nothing ends my game more then an Sd. Kfz. 222. I’ll have some force of like 4 gunners to kill infantry and 8 M3 AT guns decimating the top of the map killing even wespe blitzes. Then one troll 222 rolls in the back of the map from the left, instant kills my 60xp officer, causes half my troops to run, and makes my AT guns blow themselves to bits… I tend to only last a few waves after that. Not to mention I swear they target switch to all of my camonets just to be as costly as possable.

Topic: Mud and Blood 2 / Are the germans better or the americans better and why

As far as the game goes. Americans start out with a clear advantage in skill. But the Germans get better to the point where their essentially spawn with 90+ rifle, 80+ xp and high morale (except volks of course.) At about wave 120 if their not pinned or dead their hurting your troops constantly. A wave 140+ sniper has like 99% accuracy and fires fairly fast while wave 110+ mg42s can easily pin half of your infantry if allowed to set up. That’s why if you don’t have enough suppressive force by wave 70 you will have a hard time hitting wave 100 due to the now superior German troops decimating your men.
