This is actually a great idea, but it would frustrate so many people who want all the badges for stats. The game would get a very unfair rating. Papa’s pizzeria has the endurance tag, and so many people hate it.

Don’t get me wrong, though. I’m all for it, it’s a good idea. It’s just that the majority of the users would instantly hate the game for having a badge that they “can’t” get.

I’m not saying Kongregate should get rid of the chat for everyone and for good. I’m suggesting that Kongregate should give users the option to either disable or keep the chat function.

Your point is a valid one. The OP’s I was aggressive towards because it seems more of a complaint than a suggestion. He gave possibly the stupidest example possible (Cybering 13-year olds?) and his use of “I want” made it look more of a whine than anything else.

And, I agree with PlatinumIce. There are many mature chatrooms, and since the OP’s example was immaturity, it’s probably just laziness that prevents him from clicking “change rooms”.

Round_Peg’s idea I agree with. The chat sometimes is distracting when playing a game, and if a minimize system that still gets you badges could be implemented, that would be great.

A little bit off topic, but as mentioned countless times before, having a way to JUST chat would be nice. One can dream, I suppose.

Search “Just chat”. Or play Idle 2. It has a big chat window.

I doubt the chat is filled with cybering thirteen-year olds. You can, at any time, call a mod or keep muting chat. Be honest now, how old are you?

I don’t think anybody cares if you dislike the chat. Suck it up. You can play most games here on other sites. You’re asking greg to get rid of the chat based on your own selfish reasons? Get real.

Having said that, a chat “minimizing” option would be pretty nice.
