Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / Suggestions!

Right now, people are collecting insane equipment from Endless Dungeon and there really isn’t much to use it on anymore, plus chips allow people to hit higher bestiary marks then ever existed before. These ideas were more just kinda “What ifs?” rather then “WE NEED NAO” so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re automatic no’s. Still, perhaps they might make good theroycrafting to how to build atop the end-game.

The Fade This is the big-suggestion and most likely to be shot down. It’s basicly a “What if we went past Apoclypse?” Things gain a faded filter, perhaps looking like they’re in black and white (Not unlike that short-story written a while back as a sort of lore to the game). The world ended, and reality is fading away to this new dimension. Is basicly a brand new difficulty atop of WM→Apoc.
Requirement: Equip 3 Worst-Moon influencing effects. (I suggest a ring, this would allow most set’s to still work, remove one of 2 possible sources of protection, and the otherwise very useful ring-effect much like the loss of an IA and trinket, this also means it’s automatically turned off when you die, as you lose the ring)
Setting the benefits (EXP, Pixel, etc) to 1/3rd of the WM benefits seems to fit, considering Apoc was 1/2, and have most of the same penalties as WM/Apoc, though sense both had diffrent means of lowering Damage/Health/Mana, why not just subtracting flat values, like 10million/2million/halfmillion? This could have some intresting effects like killing low-hp builds off the start (Which would unequip the ring and prevent an endless cycle of death) and potenitally prevent non-basic attacks if you didn’t componsate for it, while being only a moderate inconvience to the end-game players.
As for making The Fade special, a “Fading” effect (Avatar sorta ‘blinks’ out of existance) that drains MP/Spirit at a faster percent then lightning does HP, makes fighting bosses and using mana power harder (though definitely not impossible) And this can be tied in to the new Ultra enemies, having Ultra enemies actually /spawn/ in TheFade at 1% of your epicEncounterRate (so you don’t need an entirely new value for it, and giving a use for Epic rates so high that in some zones you have a 100% epic rate already). This would give a whole new difficulty for post-endless dungeon players to explode and try to compete with, while also making an alternate if harder to control way to fight ultra-enemies.. with the drawback that you’re doing so with even harsher penalties then before.
Probably the hardest part to code would be the adding ultra’s to the encounter table, and the graphical filter. It be a pretty big update, if a potentially lore-friendly one. I wouldn’t be surprised if “A whole new difficult” gets shot down though because it’s almost as bad as asking for a new feature, still, might as well get the concept out of my head.

New Rings Admittingly this is mostly to compliment the above suggestion. A small collection of new rings, perhaps dropped by ultra enemies only, making higher level players more paranoid they might have to recollect these things if they lose. A WorstMoon Ring (If TheFade or an equivalent new difficulty is included, perhaps with 10% SpawnRate and/or +100% epic Rate). a “Ring of Breath” to cut drowning to 1/10th or remove it (pretty useless by the time you can actually unlock the ring, but a neat effect). “Ring of Nature” (Bonus to all elements except Dark/Light) “Ring of Twilight” (+Bonus to Light/Dark, an actually useful ring for some builds/places!) Ring of Time (Slows down clock in missions/places by maybe 10/20%, which would probably be more useful for grinding then actually setting scores) “Ring of Spirit” (-50% Max MP, +200 Max spirit, +Spirit regain?) People have probably suggested other neat rings in the past as well that could be introduced with this. all the more reason to collect Chips!

New Bestiary Levels People actually getting to Bestiary 7 by SC and mining, or just heavy chip-abuse. Why not make them scale up to 9 using the same colours as modules? (NOTE: Axiss32 gets credit for this concept, we’re just both in the same chat, to be fair, Bestiary 7 or higher has probably been suggested before) Suddenly every OCD player cried out… Compliments Ultra-hunting in TheFade though, if only barely. Still, technically level 9 only requires ultra-3 1000 times… I think I might be ill.

Rebirth +1000 Goal This is my least favorite suggestion, but might compliment end-game nicely. Introduce the same elements found in Ascending in to Rebirthing. After 100, you need to gain an extra BP per rebirth above 100 to properly craft the “True Rebirth” potion, or the using of such a potion at 100 prevents you from reaching rank 500 with out getting extra BA exp, the only way to increment the counter above 100. (Normal Rebirths could still be used to accumulate BP) The rewards? Rebirth total is now worth a +0.X% Multiplier on ALL stats/status effects/everything (before caps, so a lot of things will just hit cap if you’re not using something like WM mode) This means you hit a nice double "100%" at Rebirth 1000, where it would probably stop (unless you wish to allow people to attempt to grind off into forever, which is a scary prospect, but it’s not like this kinda growth is the slightest bit ‘fast). Even people who’ve reached 100 rebirths only would see an increase of +10% if this update was included, so it wouldn’t be much more powerful to implement at-start then the REST update was.

Achievements/Quests Critique I’m aware there are already plans for this, my only critique is that they’re not too much like each other, as it is right now.. Quests are kinda just “Achievements+” Perhaps making Achievements “Major goals” (defeating 10c Chaos for the first time, then WM 10c chaos, your first LM, beating each LM at least once) and Quests gradually incrementing things? These are not suggestions per-say, just rather, my only personal request is that they don’t feel like just two flavors of the same thing when they both get reworked.

wow, this was a mouthful. I kinda wonder how bad people thing these ideas actually are. XD

It’s still pretty good for pixels, more so if you can stack it with cursed pendent and apoc, but it’s not as amazing for exp as it used to be before there was a cap +exp for rare bonuses.

The great Blue Shortage

Blue coins have become rather easy to aquire for most these days, but what if we delt with a shortage? Could you manage? Now simulating the shortage, you have rigged your printer to start printing blue coins, but it struggles to print the amazing coins at proper quality. Can you use Boost to keep it running and hit the Blue Coin cap as soon as possible?


Objective: Reach Bluecoin Cap

Rules:

1. Printer prints it's level/2 in blue coins
2. Dragon produces normal blue coins
3. AA and mystery boxes produce 1/5th blue coins
4. All other sources produce 1/25th blue coins
5. Printer drains at x10 rate.
6. Printer costs 2 blue coins to recharge, gaining 100 charge.
7. Printer regains 1 charge for every 1 boost earned in-game.

Rewards:

Merci. I’ve been doing plenty of PM/Corruption for the pixel/exp grind, and I’m close to being able to beat Chuck… the power attack improve would definitely be enough to push me over. I think I’ll attempt it with a Worst Moon Gem at rank 400, sense by then I’ll have the G5/GS 500/500 ready and a good set of armor.

I have a 500/500 G5 and another 500/500 crystals ready with no ehancnments yet out of a mixture of pure stubbornness and fear of not knowing what would be a complete waste of my resources… I’m passing in to the 300+ ranks and could use some suggestions/help, anyone willing to offer?

New to this game and wanted a taste of power? Or just an older player who is curious how fast they could speed through the quests in one go? This Challenge is for you! While you have access to a great deal of ascended power and perks, you still must play through the game from scratch and accumulate a total of 100k Quest Tokens. Enjoy the rush of power but don’t forget to enjoy all of Anti Idle!


Objective: Collect 133700 Quest Tokens

Rules:

1. All temp ascension perks unlocked.
2. All level 1 perm ascension perks unlocked.
3. Given 500% Max Boost (as if ascended 5 times)
4. Given double arena exp and stat caps (as if rebirthed 100 times)
5. No other features (Fairy arena's, Ultimate armor) are unlocked.

Meant to attract new players, as well as give older players a save file built around a speed-run of the whole game’s feature list with accession perks pre attached, all within a self-contained file and legitimate challenge. Thoughts?

Forge the One(Awe)some Ring

Earrings are so 2013, rings are the new accessory of choice for anti idlers! Forge the One Ring, forgoing usual equipment, and use it’s powers to take down any foolish enough to get in the way. Unfortunately in forging such a powerful accessory materials have become more scarce, you’ll need to start looking elsewhere for enhancers to finish it with…


Objective: Get the ring to +10/1337

Rules:

1. Normal Speedrun rules, Special shop sells up to 50  of each Box/Enhancer per day
2. Starting equipment only, you'll not be able to unequip it. Limit removed on completion of challenge(for fun)
3. Bonus rocks are replaced with Enhancers at 10% original drop rate, 1% for Mining.
4. Can only craft level 10 enhancers.
5. Box drop rate for activities is doubled.
6. Given a Ring with -1327 enhancement bonus (or allow up to +1337) Can be unequipped to enhance it.
7. All Enhancers are treated as accessory enhancers instead so they apply to the ring.

Rewards:

  • Skin Color: 137/137/137
  • Eye Color: 133/37/00

Suggestions on refinement/adjustment? Should you have to do something with your (overpowered) ring? Perhaps the ring should have near unlimited (-9000) enhancement ability and your goal is instead to use it to defeat a super-boss, Using the One Ring to Defeat Chaos?

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Kingdoms CCG] VIP concerns

It’s only cost 4..? .-.; The thing as an epic currently is on par with a cost 6, considering you can have multiple copies of the thing in your deck (as a legendary it could pass as a cost 4..) But with a 2/5 and no abilities it’s already an uncommon at cost 4. unblockable would make it a rare, and the synergy of unblockable and how all other forms of return to hand cards usually having a limit and only triggering once pushes it well on the line of legendary. Sigh The thing is, I actually like it’s ability, it’s so far unique, it’s just currently one of (if not the) best power per cost card in the game and pay-to-play only.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Kingdoms CCG] VIP concerns

Now, for context, this isn’t just a complaint written by someone who has never bought something in the game with real money. I have invested somewhere around 300 and 400 USD in to the various holiday novelty packs and even in just buying gems. The reason I did so is unlike a great deal of games, almost every single card and feature in the game was available by persistent and loyal enough playing over time. This was a refreshing contrast from most multiplayer games(and even some single player ones…) being released. Even the 2 cards that were otherwise available only through cash packages were not keystone cards to any concept deck and made less then even a cubed root of the total cards in the game.(which is a pretty significant number for how many cards it takes a game to have for it to be higher then even 5) It always seemed more like a “Thank you” then a “You get to be better then everyone!”

Now however I return to the game after a hiatus to find a VIP system in place, greatly increasing the pay-only content of the game in a rather disappointing turn of events. At least at the moment it is limited to a select few cards, but it’s a worrysum slippery slope and if it grows much further I know I’ll be at least one person who won’t be buying in to it. If it honestly nets you more profit then it did before, then I guess it’s not all bad given the majority of the game is still open to users unable to save up enough money or at least “Kreds” to make use of the VIP feature. It is still a slippery slope none the less…

Then of course comes some of the content in the first VIP release. Was Untouchable play tested thoroughly..? It seems like it is being released as a sort of “early bird” special where those who invest in VIP now can get a broken card that won’t be rebalanced until a later determined time. The ability for it to auto-fear cards is a neat ability, however it works against any creature regardless of type or manacost, and is coupled with unblockable, leaving the card immensely powerful for merely 5 mana cost when one must spend a great deal more mana to remove it even under the most efficient of methods, and that’s assuming you have the cards and deck to do so. I really hope that this isn’t that kinda ploy, there are plenty of other less game-cheap ways of raising money for the game, such as how the newest cards are always a bit more expensive and perhaps even a premium “set” of cards for real cash only that gets cycled every month, kinda like how starter packs are handled.

I’m just a worried player is all, apologies if this long ramble is more an annoyance on the forum then constructive criticism.

Fall from Grace

In this challenge, you are tasked not with reaching some impossible high goal, but falling down to level 0. Start with every basic feature unlocked, but be weary, as you lose features as you drop in level and can not reacquire them. Reach level 1 and find the descendent hidden in some relic of the past.
*EXP rate is increased, Unused Boxes are limited to 200 Max, Unused Supply Boxes to 10 Max.


Objective: Reach level 0

Rules:

1. You start at level 9001 With everything else unupgraded.
2. All EXP normally earned is instead subtracted from your total.*
3. Once you reach level 1, let the descendent defeat you to reach level 0.
4. Every feature shop item starts unlocked, Progress Bar is maxed.
5. When you reach 5 * the requirement level of a feature, you lose it**
6. * This happens at x3 the rate it would normally be earned
7. ** You can not buy back features, and you do not lose Battle Arena.
8. The Descendent appears when you are level 1 with no other requirements.
9. Max of 200 Boxes of any type, 10 for Supply Boxes
10. Descendent appears after 1 minute of idling in the Abandoned Lab.

Rewards:

  • Medal Name: Level 0, No items, 10C Chaos.
  • Skin Color: #666666

Mixing a few homebrew’d abilities of others:

Name: Acursed Outcast
Unaligned Creature, Human Rogue, Rare
3 Mana
2/2 Agile(Creature moves to open ally slot if opposing creature has higher attack instead of fighting back) Cursed 1(Creature deals 1 damage to enemy hero on death)
If Creature is under control of a Hero from any kingdom, creature dies on start of turn.

Agile is a bit of a double edged sword, and all it ends up doing is lasting one turn before dieing(and activating cursed) for any aligned hero, and you can’t even use it to block if you have an open slot, but I’m sure some people could come up with uses for it.

Lost God’s Talisman
Undead Spell, Legendary
4 Mana
Buyback(Card is not spent when cast), Target creature gains Enfeeble 2, your hero gains 1 life

A potentially powerful card if you have the mana to fuel it, it can never kill something off, but it can keep netting you more life by feeding off of at least one creature card. -Mana cost cards and this one could be a really deadly combo.

Two other spells:

Desperate Awakening(could use a better name)
Ancient Spell, Rare
2 Mana
Next creature costs 0 Mana, but gains Slow 1 for every 2 Mana(rounded up) in cost

Lost Labyrinth
Ancient Rune-word, Uncommon
4 Mana, 8 Turns
All Creatures gain slow 1 on enter
At the end of each turn, randomize the position of creatures

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Fantasy Online] Time based Account Deletion

I have only ever used this one, I don’t make alternate accounts.
Also, when I first logged on it even showed the caves I used to be in, only when I actually gained control of my character.. it was the start of the game, nude, item-less, with the tutorial man and scarecrows and everything. (If that helps identify the problem)

I noticed after not playing the game in.. about a year or so, my account seems to have been reset, I was wondering if there was a way to undo this or if they usually delete unused accounts of a certain age? A friend of mine really wants me to start playing again and I likely will, but would at least like to see if my old account can’t be recovered.

Topic: Sonny 2 / Mayor Glitch Won't let me continue

Well, first post in the forums-

I’m at the Mayor, ready to beat him and continue but at the start of the fight and dialog, it won’t let me take an action as it’s his turn but he doesn’t do a thing either. (Infact the first time it happened, he even floated off beyond the top of the screen…) Changing the characters around doesn’t seem to fix it either.
