Topic: The Last Stand: Dead Zone / Suggesgons On the Game (actually turned into an idea box so post away)

I think it would be nice to have an “arena.” A place that doesn’t give resources, but lets you fight zombies for a time or a limit. It would be only a couple spaces in the city and maybe one being the stadium. It would help bring your low level units up to be on par with your first few survivors. I’ve confronted the problem of acquiring weapons that are 2+ levels higher than my highest survivor. I want to continue on, but when i can’t use any items it seems pointless to continue on. I get good levels of resources and food/water so i don’t need to move.

I wish we could expand from the typical 10, not that I’ve Gotten all 10, but making them independent of each other. Letting one of your survivors break off and start a new compound. Such that you can then recruit more people and start the process over again. Of course that would take away places to scavenge so people would have to pick and choose where they want to do it. You could have to barricade the holes where they zed creep through and they can break through for attacks.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Backyard Monsters] Map room bug

Can we get a fix for the bug that prevents us from playing after getting map room lvl 2. Its irritating waiting for a fix and unable to play or anything. I enjoy the game, but I’m not going wait for months for a fix. I played on FB and came back once, but i doubt i’ll come back again if this doesn’t get fixed soon.

Can we get an update for this. This is going to get people, including me, to quit because i’m not going to wait around for weeks for you to get an update together. I want to progress, but if i’m going to sit around there are hundreds of games waiting for me to put my time in it.

why not just use the special events on planets then? Have someone controling golems and holloween units. They would be weakened to make it fair to the normal player and maybe have a special design for their buildings that is ONLY for them.

Topic: The Last Stand: Dead Zone / Alliance Suggestion

I have mixed feelings on alliances. This game seems like alliances would only hold people back since already the pvp feature is pointless and unneeded. People stop attacking after a while and it becomes to costly. I’m going to critic some of your points though.

1. it still cost to transport goods. You can’t just instantly lower costs or free fuel. I’m not against sending a unit as a mission with resources to trade though.

2. You would have to make sure the unit you “send” isn’t on missions or doing things. That and it would also take time to travel. So you wouldn’t have that unit at all if you sent them. Also leaders couldn’t count otherwise you could have a group of leaders gang up against attackers. Also what is the limit? If i have 10 people in my alliance and everyone gives me 1 guy I’ll have a max of 20. Might as well continue adding survivors to the mix.

3. Thats restricting to who you can fight. Just leave it to the protection that the game already implements.

4. Not really sure what you mean. So i can say and type, but i’ll not actually have an alliance?

5. the government style is always up to the leader. Not sure if you mean having like a democratic, republic, oligarchy because if not seems self explanatory and mute point.

6. No rankings? Not much of a point. You can always have more rankings besides just attacking. Defending, resources, defense, Overall Morale, average morale, etc. Quite extensive list you could make that would promote other actions besides attacking. Stopping competition is a driving force to most mmo’s

7. Again protection of natural game. Just let it happen and this game is not one to constantly have enough resources to constantly assault. My stores right now are 600 each and before i log off its usually around 60 each. I may not be typical, but theres probably a lot. Thats a consequence of mass stocking.

8. Again can’t really stop us from using kong chat. But i like that maybe there could be like an alliance channel. that one could work

Alliances are tricky. You have to implement them right or everything will fall apart. I feel like you shouldn’t focus on fighting, but you can’t inhibit it.

9a. I think we should have an alliance building almost. A place where everyone “meets”. Like a cleared building that only your alliance can view and visit as such.

9b. Also maybe have alliances have their own compounds so players are not directly affected. You could have no more than 10 people in 1 alliance and it would function like a normal compound, but only the leaders would be there or could go. So players would give their own resources and a leader or “builder” would select what gets made. It would be almost a copy, but you would defend from others.

in wars can we have the war end in a tie after the score stays 0-0 for a certain time. This helps for those of us that can’t attack our opponents and will make sure we don’t have to wait forever to start another war.

A really idea I’ve been thinking is giving a defender some war points for killing units. I think it will balance and benefit those that aren’t offensively inclined. Those that put resources into defense and not offense should be rewarded in wars just as much as those who send 100 attacks a day. Sort of line it up with a level 1 marine gives like 1 point and a level 2 marine gives 2. A zep gives 10, 15 and then the level would add a percentage to it. It would need a lot of work, but I think it would benefit. It discourages someone sending 10 attacks that only dent each time.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Galaxy Life] End wars with players that never log on

I think they should auto rebuild bases after they are destroyed. This would help too. It makes sure that no one has to have entire systems of players who don’t get on and are always wiped. It would just make it easier on all active members to actually have targets and not risk large amounts of resources for a small gain.

i keep getting told that I cant form a new colony. I have all the pre requisites, but it tells me the server denies the purchase and makes me reload every time. I’ve tried different galaxies and nothing. I try every day for 3 days now. Any reason that this problem is there?

One thing I’m looking for is a way to tell when someone has been destroyed or if I can attack. I hate trying to find that one guy that is open for me to attack. The target spotter is no help when most to all of the options are not attackable because someone else beat me to the punch. I bet there is a thread somewhere about it but I just want to throw it here in case no one has mentioned it.

I would love to see our facilities upgrade as we level. Like each time we get to pick a new title for ourselves our facilities get to level up with us. About each time we get a new title we have surpassed anything that we get from our facilities. Any troop, officer, armor, weapon, is all beneath me. Since I can only use one ship, and the only time which I use extra armor and weapons is in my galaxydome team, which surpasses facilities too. Facilities really become useless. I can level up before i acquire enough items to make them in the lab. Make the facilities more useful. I might as well keep them all at level 1 and just focus on the crystals.

You can easily see how much damage you have done in a raid by looking at the list of raids you are participating in. It shows the damage in small red letters to the right of the raid name.

Its not easy to see yourself when you have bigger raids of 100+. I don’t want to click for a hour to find how i compare to others. I’ve thought the same thing as resent. Just as a quick look at it.

Topic: Legacy of a Thousand Suns / Why EVERYTHING needs Suns?

Alright I’m a free user and its not hard to lose. People complain about getting beat by a surprise GS user. You can check them out before you battle. See what gear they have before you make a mistake and lose. I don’t lose that much when it comes down to it. I choose my battles and not just the attack button on every person. Its not hard to not lose. Just play smart. You don’t need the strongest items to win. I have 95 attack and it goes a long way. I’m level 65 and its very helpful. So stop whining and complaining about not being able to get GS items and that you lose. Just play the game and shut up. I will say that the shop sucks though. After level 3 I haven’t needed it until this latest update (new ship that gave me a lot of new options). There are many ways to make GS and you can get a lot of different items anyway. So stop complaining and grow up.

I agree with the higher level facilities cutting the wait time. When I need to what a day to get a crew member that is probably going to suck as it is isn’t really worth it. Also I wish there was some way of almost picking what you get from facilities. I’ve yet to get a teir one or two item from my communications at level 7. I’ve got so many pirate items that I might as well start my own crew. I know its random but can the chance of acquiring an item lower once you get it or the more you get it? After getting that CRANK trooper 5 days in a row gets to annoy me. I’m level 46 and have much better crew. Can we please start buying better weapons in the shop. My best main weapon is a double shotgun 4/4. I’ve carried it since I’ve started and can’t get a better one. The shop is pointless if i can randomly get better items from facilities, free. Hope you at least think about what i said and consider it useful.

EDIT: After looking at it, it appears like you should almost have to acquire all tier 4 items before you can get tier 3 and you not move back down to tier 4. I mean I’m not going to need those items anymore, except the crystals for the lab (which 100 for 2 stat points, really?). This could keep from getting useless items that are never going to be used by people after level 2.
