New York
The girl frowned and threw her arms into the air, almost sending another fireball flying into another building.
“I didn’t mean to set it on fire! The fireball just flew out my hand!”
She paused then slowly folded her arms “And I taught myself magic anyway!”
Eve, upon hearing this, spoke up. “B-b-but… but that means your a-”
“Yes, a rogue mage! I know.” The girl interrupted, She’d heard it a million times before and knew that people didn’t like it.
Eve glanced around nervously “Y-you w-weren’t followed were you?”
“No, I was not. Well, I’m hoping not.” The girl replied, not sound very certain.
She sniffed the air and looked over her shoulder at the stranger.
“So your… from another planet?” She snorted “Yeah, right. Humans have searched hundreds of other planets and not found anything.”
She looked around curiously, searching for something, gazing past the crowds of people and cars, searching for a sign.

(( Dang it ))

New York

Eve nodded nervously and fell silent. She let the girl do the talking.
The girl looked at the man a little closer now “Well… uh… that was kinda a accident.” She chuckled nervously “I’m… um… only a amateur fire mage.”
She paused then changed the subject. “Who and what are you anyway?” She pointed at the pointy ears and purple eyes.

New York

5:20 PM

Eve opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by a stream of glowing blue water flying past her into the building that is on fire, putting out the inferno.
This causes the girl to jump backwards. “Jesus!”
She spins around to see a man who looked human, apart from the violet eyes and pointed ears, dressed in strange clothes.
“Are you trying to kill us… or… or… like get us soaked?!” The girl exclaimed then fell silent for a minute, adjusted her goggles and turned around to look at the building that was on fire “Oh… you were putting out the fire.” The girl fell silent once again.
Eve, feeling brave, spoke up. “C-can I help you?”
She stuttered nervously but she couldn’t help it, she always did that around adults.

Hey guys. In my story My character is looking for a ‘’powerful individual’’. If anyone wishes to cross stories, that would be great, thanks.

Well, my character has arrived on what is presumably Earth, and he is a “powerful individual”. But he’s from another universe altogether, so I don’t think anyone in this universe would want to kill him or even know his existence.

On the other hand, I would like to ask permission to interact with KingofLlamas’s character. Because we’re both magic users.

Sure, go ahead.

You can’t just have one humor. You’ll need to give me a mix of multiple humors. And you can’t have mods on you to start. I should have mentioned that to BC, too.

Okay.

Name: Bethany
Species: Blooper
Humors: ARDENT, SHINE, FLOW

New York

5:18 PM

18 minutes of walking and no sign of home.
This made her scared, very nervous.
Tears stung her eyes and she wiped them away with her hand.
She didn’t want to be alone when night fell. She wanted to be back home.
Eve continued to trudge through the streets, losing precious seconds of daytime. Her legs were tired and she was actually considering sleeping in one of the backalleys for the night. She sniffed and tried to concentrate, eventually managing to lose herself deep in thought. Thoughts of better times, happier times.
Her train of thoughts was only interuptted when a ball of fire flew past her head, narrowly missing her. She let out a startled cry and lept into the nearest store, slamming the door behind her.
She knew she had enemies, but she didn’t know that they would actually attack her in daylight! That was insane. Glancing around the store, she decided that she would need a weapon. Ignoring the rambling of the shopkeeper. She ran down one of the isles and examined the various tools there. Hammers, Knives. Most of them could be used as weapons.
Eventually, Eve decided on a hammer and picked it up. It was quiet heavy and she took a few clumsy practice swings with it. “Good enough” She mumbled to herself and peered outside the door.
It was strange, as none of the citizens had reacted at all to the flaming fireball that had flown past thier heads and the nearby building that was on fire.
Confused, she raised the hammer and took a step out to see what was happening.
She immediatly saw what had caused the fireball. A 15-16 year old girl was walking towards her, casually holding a fireball in her hand. She taller than Eve by a few inches and wore a long black leather trench coat that went down to her ankles. Underneath that she wore a plain white top, slightly covered in dirt. She had long wavy blonde hair that went down to her shoulders and a pair of goggles rested on her forehead.
As she approached Eve, the girl smiled and put out the fire in her hand. “You need some help, kid?”

(Meh, not writing much today.)

New York

5:00 PM

The good news was, it had stopped raining.
The bad news was that Eve was soaked to the bone and there was no sign that the sun was going to appear any time soon.
Eve sat in the dark alleyway, annoyed at the world. She knew that she could probably dry herself using the light. But no, she could barely control it and she didn’t feel like being burnt to a crisp
She pulled the damp blanket off herself and stood up, brushing off some dirt from her shirt. “Better get moving, find home” Eve mumbled and frowned as she stepped into the still busy streets. She didn’t like to go out into the open. It was too exposed there, it made her nervous.
She shivered and started to wander through the streets, trying to avoid eye contact with anybody and keeping out of thier way.
Drawing attention to herself would only make her situation worse, so she kept to the side of the street and let people shove past her.
Eve didn’t know where she was going and that made her quite scared. All she could do was pray that she could make her way home before darkness fell.

(I’ll write some more in the morning, as I’m really tired right now.)

New York, present day.

4:32 PM

The rain drizzled through Eve’s hair slowly, reminding her what a horrible day it had been.

She thought that it had started out quite nicely, actually. She had managed to find enough food to last her the day and she had been left alone in her little home undisturbed. However, just as it reached midday, it had started to get worse.

Firstly, It had been raining for 4 hours non-stop and it was getting her nerves.

Then, someone had decided that they wanted Eve’s food. She sighed. She didn’t like it when people did that. So, she ran. Ran as fast as she could. Running is what she did best.

She rembered chasing and being chased by her father playfully. She grinned to herself and wiped a few droplets of rain that were running down the side of her face. She remembered those days fondly, as they were long gone now.

After escaping from the person. She found herself lost and had been wandering down the streets, with no idea where she was going. It was quite upsetting.

She frowned, sniffed and peered outside the back alley and into the bustling streets of New York. It was quite nice, actually, watching the citizens who were blissfully unaware of the world that Eve knew about. Ignorance is Bliss, they say.

She leaned back against the wall, pulling the blanket over herself a bit more, to try and keep warm in the cold.

She could see the busy crowds of people, yet, they probably didn’t see her. She brushed her dark black hair out of her eyes. She hated the colour of her hair, it made her pale skin stand out more. Although, there wasn’t really anything she could do about it. She shivered and started to think about herself and her life.

Sure, she was only 13, but she had seen and knew about things that others would only dream of.

Eve knew, for example, that her mother had been a mage, although she had never actually seen her do any magic. Her father had always told her of how her Mother had been the top in her class at the Academy, the Academy for Arcane Arts, no matter how many times her mother had told him not to talk about. He couldn’t help himself.

She knew all about the world of magic.

How dangerous it could be.

How, many creatures not from this world would be drawn to magic users like a beacon.

And how rogue mages would be tracked and eliminated by the Hunters. The thought of them made her shiver. Bloodthristy creatures that could only see magic users. Trained to hunt and kill, no witnessess, no survivors.

She quickly tried to think of something else.

She knew that there was a better side to magic, that it wasn’t a curse.

It could help people, She sighed, but mostly it just caused wars and killed people.

Which is why it was considered a curse.

She picked up a piece of slightly soggy bread from her bag and chewed on it as she thought about the world of magic. She knew all about the various ‘mythical’ creatures that roamed the world, avoiding human eyes for who knows how long.

Eve also knew that she possessed a power that could wipe out buildings, towns, cities.

The light.

The most powerful magical power known to mankind.

She was blessed, apparently. It was a gift sent by the Enlightened to allow mankind to defend itself against the evils of the world.

Eve knew all this.

And Eve was terrified by her own power.

“Uh… I-I don’t want to talk about it… not right now” I pause, then look around the room hungrily. “Um… Do you have anything to eat around here, I’m starving.” I haven’t eaten in ages, 2 days? 3 days maybe. I’m not sure, my memory of the last few days is quite bad, It’ll come back to me later though.

I wave my hand dismissively as he asks me how I feel. “I’m… uh… better… um… yeah.” I nod and sit down on a seat, any seat and if there is no seat, the floor. “Really… Really tired though… It’s been a long week.” I sigh then I remember something. “Er… How long has it been since we last talked?”

“Ugh… er… Thanks…” I pause for a few seconds, still trying to cling to consciousness. He mutters something to himself that I can’t hear and I squint at the person. “Um… is everything alright?” I quickly glance around the park, which is mostly empty, and try to get up once again and I manage to get to my feet, but collapse on the ground again after a few seconds.
