Later on in the game, you’ll start running out of specific items. Obviously, you’ll need to switch your adventurers to pickpocket. Personally, I have two adventurers with pickpocket & ricochet with a knight to tank – I fight through about the first 20 levels of GD unless I need something specific. For example, I’ve determined that the first room in Ironbound 3 is pretty good for farming Old Diaries (need for most of the cleric’s equipment).

How about constructing something like a casino/arena where you could exchange your spare materials for chips? Different materials could have different exchange rates (300 screws for 50 tokens, 1 diamond for 100 tokens, etc.). Then you could implement some custom mini-game or battle system where you could wager varying amounts for a chance to win keys, armor, rare materials, or some such? I feel like it’d be a great way to put some of those brooms, wings, and the plethora of other materials to good use while extending another form of gameplay. Thanks for your great work thus far!

I second the move for a “multi-meeting” function for the townsfolk. It’s a tad tedious trying to select the individual people as they weave around in my rather crowded town and drag them over to that other townsperson who invariably hides behind a building as soon as my cursor gets there. Bump for a rare key drop too.

Yeah, the PMB’s are pretty much useless to me now. I’ve pretty much maxed out everything but accuracy and evasion, so most of the rewards are practically defunct. It’d be awesome if those excess HP and MP upgrades/drops could be converted to pixels or something; otherwise, they all basically go to waste.

Pre-Explosion Trophy Issue

Prior to one of the updates over the weekend, my trophy only had one enhancer – the Relic. After one of the updates (1387, if memory serves), it turned into a [+10] trophy, but lost the increased attack from the Relic. I think I saw this appear in another topic the other day, but I haven’t seen it officially in the bug report yet, so I figured I’d give it a shot.

Ditto on this one. I switched to hardcore mode for about 5 minutes and then switched back when I realized it was just going to slow down my career progress. I’ll probably go “hardcore” after I get my Fighter career up, but until then I’ll stick with normal mode.

My Pre-Explosion trophy was based off my old Epic Blood-Claw. It’s basically Speed 25, 400 Attack, unmodified. I had my Relic on it, but it seemed to disappear over the weekend and the bug hasn’t been fixed. All my other stats are pretty maxed out (I’m level 5210).

Most of my armor has reward increases and autosteal, so I could probably boost the damage further by modding that, but I haven’t really gotten around to it.

I think my Megaboss runs (beginning to end) are normally around 20-30 seconds. I’ll have to time it when I do another one tonight.

I just tested it on the guardian, it killed him in 2 seconds 1 second.

Super Knockback is awesome again everethyng (exemp special mobs). When its possible to refill mana.
Power attack is worse by everethyng exept that it is much cheaper in mp.

In Special Arena is impossible to refill ur mana.. And so in there are very great troubles with using strong attack.. even Power attack.

Any solutions?

Make one more armor set for mana regen? Will it even help?
Maybe some other solution?

My solution to to skip them both and max out quick attack. It’s much cheaper to cast, and multiple hits means multiple chances to stun/poison/blind/etc. It also makes it easier to get your combo up; maxing the combo boosts = winning. That damage racks up pretty quickly too. It’s really just a difference in playing style though.

Actually, I did intend for those items to sell for 0 Pixels.

Alien Weapon/Armor Enchancer has zero value

After the most recent update, the alien enchancer from the “Defend the Generator” mission doesn’t have any pixel value.

You need Lv. 4 Bestiary for those monsters.
Edit: That’s alot of defend missions! ;-P

Aliens in Generator don’t give Career experience

The aliens in the generator room don’t give any experience to the “Fighter” career.

Yeah, I figured it was since every other “mission” (the pyramid, megaboss run, etc.) gives career experience… I don’t see why the aliens wouldn’t.

I’m not sure to report this, but in addition to the pre-explosion trophy [hopefully] bug, I came across a few other things.

  • The aliens in the Generator room don’t give any “Fighter” career experience
  • You can’t sell the Alien Armor/Weapon rocks for pixels.

EDIT – NM, I just found the bug submission form/topic… after playing this game for 3 months.
