The Legend of Gharinar (Signups)
In a little-known region on the continent of Setanaria, there are 19 small countries, each ruled by a different king or ruler. This region is known as the Gharinar Peninsula, or Gharinar for short. These countries often go to war with each other, since the little land to go around has mostly been claimed.
However, recently, the emperor of Akkadiar has been expanding his country at an alarming rate. Many of the countries around Akkadiar, and indeed, the countries around those countries, are worried about this new threat. Akkadiar is one of the strongest countries, outclassing many countries on the peninsula.
But, little did the people we talk about know that Akkadiar was seeking to conquer the whole peninsula for their own selfish gain.
Here is the map of the Gahrinar Peninsula.

In order of power, the countries go as follows:
1. Khobodoros
2. Four United Tribes of Gahrinar (FUTG)
3. Empire of Akkadiar
4. Half-Giant’s Kingdom
5. Golden Hammer Clan
6. Red Thunder Clan
7. Great Tsunami Clan
8. Upper Tree Clan
9. Lower Tree Clan
10. Northern Kingdom of Lumish
11. Leaf Storm Clan
12. Southern Kingdom of Kushir
13. Wan Shaodi
14. Rhu Jaing
15. Xiong Shi
16. Tribe of Tahorani
17. Tribe of Nuramir
18. Republic of Jabanish
19. Tribe of Nuramir
Deeper explanation of countries
Most countries are centered around a certain theme or culture.
The Great Tsunami, Red Thunder, Leaf Storm, Golden Hammer, Upper Tree clans, and the Half-Giant’s Kingdom, all are centered around a Norse/Scandinavian clan system.
The Lower Tree clan is a loner, being a mix between Native American and Scandinavian cultures. (The Upper Tree clan and Lower Tree clan used to be united, but their cultural differences led to the country splitting into north and south, thus their “Upper” and “Lower” designations.)
The Tribe of Sonheiras, Tahorani, and Nuramir, plus the FUTG, are all centered around a Native-American theme.
Khobodoros is another loner, with it’s culture a mix of Roman and some Medieval.
The Northern Kingdom of Lumish and Southern Kingdom of Kushir are centered around an Ancient Egyptian theme, mixed with Muslim Egyptian as well, though the Northern Kingdom is more Ancient Egyptian, and the South is more Muslim.
The Republic of Jabanish is somewhat of a Greek-style theme; they were actually related to Khobodoros in the past, as I will explain in the History section.
Xiong Shi, Wan Shaodi, and Rhu Jaing are all loosely centered around a Far Eastern theme, though they are different from the others:
Wan Shaodi is comparative to an Imperial Chinese theme, sometime during the Tang Dynasty. They and Akkadiar are the only countries with guns.
Xiong Shi is similar to China under the Mongols; it is somewhat primitive, though somewhat strong.
Rhu Jaing is similar to Japan during the Shogunate era, mixed with a tiny amount of Norse, though the Japanese part is more in it’s later later stages (Think 1700s-1800s Japan).
And last, but definitely not least, is the Empire of Akkadiar. Their country is a mish-mash of Sumerian, Babylonian, and Assyrian cultures, but mostly Assyrian. They are tied with Khobodoros for the largest armies on the Peninsula, though Akkadiar’s empire is probably stronger due to it’s trade with wan Shaodi. It is, in fact, the only country with gunpowder-fueled weapons.
Let’s move on to History.
Using the Gregorian Calendar, the history of Gharinar is surprisingly short (It goes back 1500 years, in fact).
Starting from Year 0 and going forwards in time (Let’s say the current date is the year 1500):
Year 0: The first countries, little more than city-states, form. Among these are Khobodoros, Akkadiar, and Wan Shaodi.
Year 2: The Upper and Lower Tree Clans form. At this point in history, they are the Great Tree Clan.
Year 5: The Red Thunder Clan and the FUTG form. At this stage, the FUTG is a collection of seven nomadic tribes (Torhas, Jorlan, Takos, Kerudan, Nuramir, Sonheiras, Tahorani, ) who coincidentally settle in the same valley. They decide to unite for safety in numbers.
Year 19: The Sonheiras tribe leaves the FUTG (Called The Mighty Six at this point) due to a land dispute with Tahorani.
Year 24: The Tahorani tribe calls for war with Khobodoros to gain land, however, the other tribes wish to stay on peaceful terms. Tahorani unofficially secedes from FUTG, then makes an attack on Khobodoros. A long war begins, known as the Khobo-Tahorani War. After news of the first attack reaches FUTG, they officially kick Tahorani out of the FUTG and rename themselves "The Five Tribes of Gharinar)
Year 26: The small kingdom of Lumikushir arises on the banks of the Aryal River.
Year 27: Tahorani’s capital is sacked by the Khobodoran legions. Khobodoros officially conquers Tahorani, turning it into the first province of the Khobodoran Empire.
Year 28: Nuramir secedes from the FUTG, due to a land dispute with the Keradan tribe. They are quickly conquered by the Khobodorans, due to them being cut off from help. The FUTG attempts to put up a fight, but the Khobodoran legions are too strong. They take over the Nuramiran capital in mere hours.
Year 32: The Khobodoran legions conquer Sonheiras and half of the Great Tree Clan. They turn back after conquering half of the Great Tree clan, due to the cold winter. This is the point where the Native American cultural roots take shape in the Lower Tree clan.
Year 36: The Khobodoran Empire takes control of the Republic of Jabanish and the northern half of the Kingdom of Lumikushir. The Khobodoran Empire takes up about half of the peninsula at this point.
Year 37: Wan Shaodi and the Empire of Akkadiar team up to wrest control of Lumikushir away. The land is divided up, Wan Shaodi is given control of Jabanish, Akkadiar gets the northern half of Lumikushir, which is named Lumish at this point.
Year 57: On the 20th anniversary of Wan Shaodi’s aquirement of Jabanish, the Khobodorans attempt to wrest control of Jabanish away from the Shaodians. Their attempt is partially successful, however, Akkadiar manages to counter them.
Year 58: The remnants of Lumikushir (Kushir at this point) take the Akkadiarians’ flank in Lumish, swiftly conquering the territory while Akkadiar is busy in Jabanish. Kushir then moves into Jabanish, outflanking both the Khobodorans and the Akkadiarians. They then proceed into Akkadiar and the western parts of the Great Tree clan and the Sonheiras tribe. At this point, Akkadiar is little more than a vassal state to Kushir. the Khobodoran Empire and Kushir are locked in a battle between the Lower Tree Clan and Sonheiras territories.
Year 62: After a few years of fighting, the Khobodoran empire manages to take back the Lower Tree Clan territory and it’s Sonheiras territory.
Year 65: A surprise attack by the FUTG and the Great Tree Clan manage to take back their territories respectively. Jabanish secedes in an effort to form it’s own country.
Year 96: Jabanish and the Red Thunder clan go to war over a territory between them.
Year 99: After three years of fighting, Jabanish and the Red Thunder clan have peace negotiations. The new state born from them is the Golden Hammer Clan.
Year 201: A relatively peaceful 100 years goes by. 3 countries expand: Wan Shaodi, Red Thunder Clan, and the Golden Hammer clan.
Year 560: An outside force, known as The Imperial Empire of Darkelia (In black) enters the region. They swiftly conquer a third of the region almost overnight, most militaries are too dazed to even fight back.
Year 575: The Golden Hammer Clan, Khobodoros, and the FUTG band together to force Darkelia out of the region. They almost succeed, Darkelia holds only the former Nuramir region now.
Year 650: The Great Tsunami clan arises as a revolt against the Red Thunder clan. They grow small at first, but eventually gains enough land to form their own sovereign state.
Year 675: The Great Tree clan attacks Khobodoros and takes their land back. Including, a surprise attack by Darkelia takes another Khobodoran territory.
The Great Tsunami clan takes some more land from the Red Thunder clan.
Year 720: A 3-way alliance between the Great Tree, Golden Hammer, and Red Thunder clans attacks the conquered Great Tsunami clan’s territory, all hoping to get a metaphorical finger in the pie. A small 4-way free-for-all begins in the region, which consists of guerilla attacks on the other countries’ “Fingers”.
Year 764: After four-and-a-half decades of warfare, a solution for the 4-way stalemate arises. They create the buffer state of the Leaf Storm Clan.
Kushir begins a surprise attack on the Golden Hammer clan.
Year 805: The Golden Hammer clan fights to take back their former territory, however, they arent strong enough. They are conquered by a mix between the Leaf Storm clan and the Great Tree clan, however, the Leaf Storm clan is conquered by the Great Tsunami.

Race:
Human: Self explanatory.
Half-Giant: A larger version of human. Their species has an average height of 11 feet, 6 inches. Commonly seen in the northern area. They also have resistance against cold, due to their large size, and can also take somewhat of a beating, and are very strong. However, they arent the brightest of people, as most Half-Giants are usually stupid.
Dwarves: Another species of human. Dwarves are commonly short and fat; the tallest Dwarf ever recorded had a height of little more than five feet. They commonly stand between 2’8 to 4 feet tall.
Dwarves are known for inventing, mining, drinking, forging, and fighting, preferably all five at once. Thus, their favorite sport is making new ways to kill a stone golem while so drunk that they usually fall on their ass.
Tigeroid: A species of humanoid feline. They can run at speeds of up to 35 MPH, and they are also somewhat strong, as well. Their vicious claws and fangs make them excellent hand-to-hand fighters. Tigeroid females are considered the most “attractive” race.

Their regenerative properties make them excellent healers, also, they are easily able to regenerate any lost body part or limb. However, they are easily susceptible to fire and poisons.
Atlanteans: A race of amphibious people. They are a mixture between reptile and man, giving them the appearance of a scaled person.
