I personally think the Mafia find I’m less of a threat since I don’t know the results of my own investigation. Or they think leaving the Oracle alive is hilarious, I dunno.

I’m still a bit uneasy on your reads Spector, but I’ll stand down for now. Also, being a new player isn’t a defense against being mafia. Sorry I lurked a tad before, sometimes I have to when working 110+ hour weeks. Now it’s easier to understand what’s happening when there’s less people, hence me being more active.

Actually, I still don’t have anything. Even with the quirk removed I still don’t know who’s alignment was who’s.

Keep in mind, the targets are reversed. So Person A got Person B’s alignment.

N1: sent AdeebNafees’ alignment to Coolo2011 (Turned up scum, meaning Coolo2011 is confirmed town/cult)

N2: Sent Pulsaris’ alignment to Coolo2011 (Partly to check if Pulsaris is truthful, partly to check I got consistent readings. Pulsaris, however, said nothing and stuck to lynching spike.)

N3: Sent Pulsaris’s alignment to Darkboy5846 (This should be interesting. You SHOULD get a non-insane reading now, Dark.)

The list looks like this;

N1: AN got Coolio’s alignment due to the quirk, Coolio came up scum because I was insane at the time.
N2: Pulsaris got Coolio’s alignment, partly to check what the quirk was and to see if I got consistent readings. Pulsaris said nothing.
N3: Sent Pulsaris’s alignment to Dark blah blah blah
N4: Bloody’s alignment was sent to Pulsaris, Pursaris died that night.
N5: Bluji’s Alignment was sent to AN, AN dies that night.

People haven’t died the same night I’ve sent them alignments, that started D5.

According to what my recipients said, TNK is the only living member that I’ve read. If he inherited Coolio’s alignment, he’s town. I’m town. You guys are saying Bluji’s Cult, so I suppose I’ll take your word for it.

That leaves Uzzbuzz the town watcher, the second one considering Spike was also a watcher, and the lurkers Bloodyrain and Racefan.

At the end of the day, I’m a new player. It’s pretty obvious I’m an Oracle, but for some reason this doesn’t exclude me from being mafia. I don’t even know why the lurkers are getting less suspicion.

I want to check your cards, but not today.

I have a ~50% chance of doing it again, because I can’t pick the same person or myself. Four valid targets to send to, three kills a night.

I’m interested why TNK decided to vote for me when he acknowledges all of the lurkers. If he inherited Coolio’s alignment he’s town obviously, because of my insane-Mafia reading a few nights ago.

Facedesk

Well, I suppose this doesn’t have a small chance of happening, considering people are dying left and right now, but I send an alignment to a now-dead man again.

I sent Bluji’s alignment to AdeebNafees.

And no, TNK, I can’t come out with my results. I don’t know my results, just who I sent them to.

I just want to know what the Mafia Dreaming God was doing then the reversed-targeting thing was active. Sounds…interesting.

Well, the awkward thing was that I sent BLOODYRAIN’s alignment to Plusarus so that I could do the reverse the next night, but…

I really don’t know how I haven’t died yet. My guess is that, since I don’t know my own results, I’m not a threat.

Seems like this night was pretty helpful to us. The Cult is dead and the Arsonist took out a mafia.

Nine players left, how many more scum? At least seven, because obviously the Arsonist is still alive and I know I’m not scum.

Topic: Forum Games / [Game over] CURSIVE - And the winner is...

Themes:
The characters are setting off to a dangerous journey but something surprising occurs,
One of the characters has an embarrassing first or second name that comes up in the discussion.

(In a crowded bar, there is a small group of five in the corner. One man stands up, with bushy black hair in a musketeer outfit)

Inigo: So, is everyone ready? Does everyone know what they’ll be doing?

John: Uhh…Can we run it though again?

Inigo: No. And when did you get here, anyway?

(An old man in a grey tattered coat, carrying a heavy Oak staff)

Merlin: Mr. John Doe was here the whole time, Inigo.

John: Yeah…that happens to me a lot.

Inigo: Wait, John Doe? I know that name, but I don’t recognize your face…

John: Oh, you must’ve met my brother, John.

(A redhead speaks up next, outfitted with many, many daggers and a…form-fitting black leather.)

Kat: Wait, you and your brother are both named John Doe?

John: Yeah…All four of us. Mom and Dad couldn’t pass up the joke. For five years.

Merlin: You and your brothers were born five years apart?

John: Yep, once a year. It seems our parents laughed their way right from the delivery room to the bedroom.

Kat: That’s…disgusting, but certainly tenacious.

John: Tenacious wouldn’t be my first choice.

(The last member of the group was dressed in all blue, and bore a strange blue tattoo on his face)

Jace: Yes, but then with a name like John Doe you must have had an astounding childhood.

John: Another word that wouldn’t be my first choice.

(Suddenly, a plain-clothed commoner bursts into the bar and runs over to the assembled adventurers)

Man: Inigo! Inigo!

Inigo: What is it man? Out with it!

Man: We’ve found the man you’ve set out to kill! The one who killed your father!

John: Oh, so THAT’S what we’re doing. Okay.

Man: I listened in on your father’s autopsy report! The coroner couldn’t place the attacker, but he attributed it to a John Doe!

(Everyone turns to look at John)

John:…Mom just couldn’t make a different joke, could she?

All carbon based life cannot hope to match us? Wow, we must really suck. Everyone’s above us in the whatever scale!

Maybe for now… But later…
Honestly, new idea: We have our host ‘purge’ us out of the body. Then we’ll become the greatest creatures in the universe.

You’re not changing bodies anytime soon, if ever.

So Sypher does not have a valid plan. Anyone else want to pitch in/confirm?

[I hope I’m not too late. I’ve been camping all weekend…]

Meta-Epic RPG Game Of The Universe Edition!
MERPGGOTUR
MERP-Guh-Tur

Platform: RPG Maker

Genre: Adventure, Programming, Humor

Story: Erik, the Lightning Prince of the Kingdom of Genericia, must face the daunting task of learning to take control of the Kingdom. Along the way, he meets the demure Princess Barbicca and snarky female Elf-Rogue Isolde and promptly starts and awkwardly adorable love triangle. But just as the licensing deals to the book series goes in the works, tragedy strikes! Evillica, the Black Witch has stolen both of your quirky love interests out from under you? Vowing to not let this plot die before two sequels can be made, you set out to save them. Stopping at the old hermit’s residence for the plot device that will allow you to defeat the Witch, he instead gets fed up with your noble-boy shit and quits.

Turns out, he was secretly the ‘Developer’! Heralded as a God in your world, the ‘Developer’ is the one that breathes life into all things. Searching the hut before the world grinds to a halt, you find this creation called a ‘laptop’…

Can you take up the mantle or the Developer? Will you focus on keeping the world going or just on your own quest to get women?

The choice is in your hands! Literally!

Objective: Use the power of the Developer to shape the world and solve your personal problems!

Gameplay: Using the tools in RPG Maker, Erik will create helpful NPCs and other such utilities to assist him in his quest to keep the world running, get some ladies, or anywhere in between. Be careful, because this RPG Maker is foreign to Erik, so he may not understand what he’s doing. And everything has to be play-tested…

Ending:

1- Erik Saves the World- Erik decides to focus his efforts on helping the world at large, erasing social problems like racism and classism while also solving World Hunger.

2- Erik Saves the Day- Erik decides to use his powers to resolve his original quest, and saves the girls. Optional romance encounters ensue.

3- Erik Saves the Game- Erik, by hacking the Developer’s password (Which you get by seeing both endings), goes back and edits the previous game files so that this whole series of events never happens. The Developer, in thanks, goes back in time to the kidnapping and has the Black Queen fall or Erik’s MANLY CHARMS, netting him the harem ending.

Replay value: Three different endings, plus if you wanted to save time you could enter the password before you’re supposed to ‘know’. The Developer’s password is ‘password’.

Name: Cyth’raul, the Pact-Forger
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Color: Red, Of Consecrated Blood
Spheres: Contracts, Temptation, Guidance

Cyth’raul

A smoke, black and opaque formed from the life of the planet. Then, Something stirred.

Or rather, whispers rallied together, driven by life itself; the least powerful, yet most powerful of feelings. The whispers spiralled and spun round and around. They asked themselves one question:

“Who are we?”

First came the first consonant, then the other letters. It was not a choice of whimsy, the voices fell upon the mortal sounds and choose the ones that just felt right. Nothing more, nothing less.

Of course, the whispers knew what they were. That was innate.

However, there was no understanding. Without that understanding, the knowledge just sat there unused, until…a man. A grey, mouthless, featureless man arose from the smoke.

Cyth’raul formed above the seas, where the first of life shall emerge. He saw blips of consciousness, of awareness, and felt it calling out. From the blots of green, Cyth’raul felt the ache for nourishment. He would guide them in the sun, so they might one day form a Pact.

He regarded the other gods with a nodding of his head. He would help these beings, and guide the life under them. For now, he needed a job. A drive. A Pact.

“Who would seek council with Cyth’raul, Forger of Pacts?”
