encountered a bug that when i was hit by assassin confuse bomb i was able to target lock on them while they were invisible. this bug also persisted through the entire match in which regardless of if they confuse bombed me again i could always target lock them while they were invisible. I was only playing tank and never class changed.

i think there should be a nerf to tech heal ability because this tech spam shit is simply unbalanced when it comes to capture point maps like shuttle bay. my idea is to make it so targets can only be affected by one heal beam i.e. if there are 2 techs, 2 turrets, and a gunner and the 2 techs are using heal beams then only one of the heal beams is healing the targets it is hitting, making it so the other techs heal beam does nothing. i say this because frankly 2 techs is bad enough but when anyone has to go up against more then that it would require nothing short of a damn mega damage buffed shotgun toting gunner(or mega damage buffed sniper) to break that formation and its simply too much.

simply put this is a bad idea. also it would not discourage leaving for a loss at high rank is 7 elo, which would mean that if i were to leave before a match then win my next one at least i will not have lost 3 wins worth of elo from that 1 bad match that i knew i would lose. all in all leaving before the match begins is our only defense, stip it and watch as people simply stop playing.

hiru’s regen when the hull was at level 0 was pretty advanced but normals out after you put a single level in it. but now its been nerfed so much that every other ship out there will take half the time to regen in the depot. please normalize his depot regeneration.

I would also like to point out that hiru must travel to his enemy to hit them, giving them ample time to shoot at him from range. In the case of such ships as ant, ss, and jabber who all have a large amount of power when it comes to getting a lead on their enemy they can take out well more then half if not almost all of hiru’s energy before he can reach them. not to mention you are very vulnerable to slows from ships such as jabber, angel, circe, ant, and undu all of which negate his ability to chase or follow. And of course there is the fact that wolfs claw mines act as hard objects and will completely interrupt anything that hits them.

that is true, but when you see a hiru coming and it activates its abilities the only thing you have to do is run straight past it thus avoiding most of the initial damage. how many ships can you say that just running past them makes all their attacks invalid? hiru is the only ship that has all its attacks bound to itself, even jabber has mines that can left behind to hit enemies, which means hiru must be in constant danger of counter attack at all times in order to fight enemies.

so because they dont have health regen its ok to go beyond their designated target area? all things considered omen doesnt have a preset amount of targets it can hit(if i remember that right) and circe also has a mist which reduces damage as well as a teleport, while ss on the other hand has a shield to reduce damage and increase damage enemies take along with a heal that regens alot more then it takes to use it. that being said “life steal” should not be under the scrutiny of what should be “fixed” as far as going outside their bound range.

Angel Fire, for instance, does more damage to itself than its enemies most of the time. I would like to know how that can perform on the same level as a well-played Hirudo. Don’t you think there would be a large difference between a good SS Venture and a good Jabberwocky? There ARE limits to what each ship can accomplish based on their loadout. My whole issue with the Hirudo is that its limits surpass most of, if not all, the other ships. That’s a problem – then we get to deal with tiers. Oh, tiers…

I’d be interested in seeing the Hirudo get nerfed a little bit if those other three ships are still a long ways off. I really don’t think it needs lifesteal – no other ship does that. Even if it’s thematically appropriate, it’s still pretty powerful. What if the lifesteal was cut and the energy cost reduced to compensate? In addition, Thrustbleed is rather ridiculous in its ability to shut down counterattacks. It’s a very powerful passive that takes little effort to apply. Should it be reduced? Perhaps replaced? If one of the new ships compares favorably against it, I wouldn’t mind waiting a little bit to see how well it would work.

i could give you a list on hirudo’s weakness, the reason behind its life steal is its low energy and defense. truly a hiru that just rushes into an enemy group will die. also the purpose of taking a turret and having to send 1 or 2 people, this is regular in game tactics one team has to win after all or we could just call it STALEMATE instead of vorp. there are a lot of ships that are better at base breaking then hiru. if you look at energy hiru has the lowest in the game. also your previous statement of ss vs jabber, one is a tank melee and the other is support, are you looking to simply make every ship the same? i could give you a list right now of every weakness the hiru has, when to attack and not attack, which attack does the most damage and why and how to minimize it. one could do with with every ship. ill say this everyone cries about the autoaim on that ship so i say this to you, does your ship not have engines? can you not move it? “a good hiru player makes the game a lot more complicated for your team” this can be said of any good player. the only thing i can agree with is angel needs a buff other then that every ship has its niche, what its good at doing, if need it more team support or lone wolf. to put it to you bluntly you have trouble with hiru? learn to master jabber.

everything you list is based on the fact hiru is perfect, but the is far from it. i might make note of the fact this is a team based game, so saying in solo fights it can beat anything is trying to remove a part of the game while still comparing it in game. every ship listed has the ability to escape and fight back. There are many things about hiru that you fail to list, such as clearly defined rings that show exactly where it will deal and and where it will not. the invulnerability is short lived with nothing to aid it in escape. when it comes to speed ant is natrually faster, jabber’s vorpline dash can slow and can get it out of a tight spot, shinobi teleports AND stealths, angel has a slow, undu has a time slow and a dash. i could make a list of how these ships have an advantage over hiru but i wont, i will simply say that each ship has its own style and weakness. i might also add that your basing this on if they are GOOD pilots, which i will say any ship can be awesome with good players behind them(save maybe angel but that is my own opinion).

considering this is the first time that this function has actually come into play on a real scale there is of course going to be some unbalances. that being said with the low amount of players currently it makes it difficult to simply not match people of the kind of rank we were all playing at. all things considered you probly wont see more then perhaps 8 of the top 20 players on at a time and that is high balling it. Also I hate to say it but alot of new players came into this game and went up against just 1 good player and get smoked. This general results in them just quitting the game and not coming back but as long as the team function is in play you have these good players condensed there for the damage is actually minimized to the newbie players. however you wish to view it the situation is in reality better for newbies currently as just 1 of the top 20 is enough to decimate most teams of newbies.

what i am suggesting is something that will always tell you when you hit 50% or lower and have a trail leading to the depot. lets face it how many of them do you think actually read the pop-up tutorial? most of the newbies just come into the game and jump right to live matches and are not interested in the tutorial. At the very least this may redeem a few.

I have a suggestion that may help new players a little during actual matches. I think that if the player’s health reaches about 50% that a sign comes up on the screen warning the player they should go heal at the depot and then give a route to follow to reach the depot, of course they would be semi transparent as to not obscure vision. I believe this may lower the rate at which new players will feed and not make the matches so one sided(or atleast a slaughter) for our newbies out there. It would teach them where the depot is located at and I believe that it would increase their enjoyment of the game. And for those player who do not wish to see this since they already know what to do, make it an option you can turn off in the options menu with the default being turned on.

So I was fighting rja12 when an idea came upon me. I believe a good way to deal with suicide bombing is to make it so instead of the explosion crediting the kill to the person who committed suicide but to the last enemy player who dealt damage to them. Also if we could revise the buckler to work the moment you see the shield appear instead of almost a full second after, its already been nerfed I think this would atleast balance it a little. The strength of the shield wouldnt increase however it would make it more reactive.

had an issue at master sergeant rank where i got the required xp to go to lieutenant but it didnt award me the rank and reset my xp back to above 500 needed for rank up. any thoughts or something that could help?
