Let’s say Jask is saying the truth
If Gotter was vig, he wouldn’t kill anyone on N1, as that would just hurt town in most cases, but more importantly, why would he kill Adeeb if he was vig?

So, the question isn’t about Gotter’s alignment but rather about if Jask is saying the truth or not.

TIME’s post was not Freudian. The first time I played a culted mafia game was on FGF, and I asked how to hunt the cult. If this is his first mafia w/cult, then it really isn’t all unthinkable for him to be curious.
