Topic: General Gaming / Semi-Serious DnD question.

You can use a Bag of Devouring or Wish spell to get rid of it, but it sounds like it may be too powerful to be destroyed by such means. In that case, consider the following suggestions: 1. Melt it down in the crucible in which it was formed. 2. Drop it into the Well of Time or the Abyss, 3. Cause it to be devoured by a dragon Turtle, 4. Break it against the Gates of Hell, or Talos the Triple Iron Golems hide, 5. Cause it to become steeped in the brain fluids of Bahamut or the black and foul blood from the Heart of Tiamat, 6. Disintegrate it in the putrid ichor of Juiblexes deliquescing flesh, 7. Drop it in the River Styx

After finishing the game solo (soldier) I can say I have no desire at all to get to level 50 or try other classes. It’s a pretty good game, but playing solo is only worth 1 play through imo. I can see how it might be much more fun with a group of 4 playing co-op though.

so after x zombies killed the survivor becomes a zombie. using the 10 zombies rule, that means 9 zombies per survivor which is 9*113,961=1,016,649 zombies needed.

Also many household objects (such as your computer, shovels, rakes, guitars, throwing knives, slingshots, stoves, pots etc.) can be used as weapons.

So, it’s gonna be like THAT is it? Well, in a zombie apocalypse scenario, society will stop functioning which means no running water, no transportation, food rotting on the shelves with no more coming into the cities, no sanitation with masses of rotting flesh moving about. You’ll get dehydrated, starve, get sick and be killed by zombies while you run around desperately looking for water. Wouldn’t it just be EASIER to give up and let me feast on those soft, spongy brains? ;)

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Zening] episode 4

Every time I try it my companion wanders off and doesn’t help me and without that support I just don’t get anywhere. Sometimes she joins the fight for part of the match. Seems like victory is dependent on some spotty AI here.

Does anyone have any tips on the final boss for episode 4? It seems impossible, he can keep on creating more enemies. I have tried killing the main boss first (then get killed by remaining enemies) and killing the enemies first (he summons them again), teleported directly in front of the boss (by luck) so he is unable to create more enemies and pounded on him but I can’t seem to come close to winning no matter what I try.

Edit: I found this video… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8U-VEn15zak
Seems you need to rely on your AI partner to make good moves. Half the time she spends the match running into a wall or attacking the fire. :/

Greg you are a bad man. Why does [game i dislike] get badges but not [game i like]? Just because it’s popular?? All the people rating don’t have the same opinions as me, and are therefore idiots of the highest caliber. Please change the site to cater to me, Maggotheart. Thank You.

I applaud your persistence, the toy helicopter/plane sequences, the final “Zero” mission comes, to mind (if you played the PS2 version, a very limited amount a fuel requiring an insane amount of planing and coping with horrible controls.); in addition to the 300 random objects you have to collect…

The best so far is San Andreas simply because it offers the most complete package, entertaining characters, among other things. It’s a shame that GTA 4 fell short…

On a side note, the only real release I’ve found thus far that really interests me, all the others have been shifted to spring next year…

This is funny, when you mentioned the toy helicopter sequences – something I’d forgotten (or blocked) I got a flashback like I had PTSD :) They were insanely difficult. One of the things I could never complete in San Andreas was the bulldozer mission where you had to move the bombs to the correct places in that construction pit. I just sucked at controlling that dozer and when you get to part 7 of the mission and fail, then have to do it all over again, boy is it frustrating! And the secret packages… I thought I was being all smart when I printed out a map with all the locations on it, and marked them off 1 by 1 as I picked them up… then somehow screwed up and missed one… and then couldnt find the 300th package gah :S

HectorFV, just wow.

I’ve played VC and San Andreas both to 98%+ completion. (The former on PC and the latter on the PS2) They are both great games, obviously San Andreas has a lot more map and features in it (jetpack is awesome and convenient as hell), but some of the new features didn’t add to the game and were just there IMO like girlfriends, eating/working out, loads of hidden packages and all the different clothes. VC has the better story and characters and isn’t such a slog. I haven’t played GTA4 at all, mostly because I have GTA fatigue at this point but also because I heard it wasn’t great.

This strategy is best because it protects you from spikes, which can end the run at any moment.

Topic: General Gaming / Bunny Charm - Hints/Tips

I just got past wave 30. The only bit I can add to the good advice already posted here is that the guys who shoot the fireballs will stop and shoot at you while you are around a corner. You can hit them, they can’t hit you, all while you’re sitting on a flag.

Edit: I can also confirm that you can raise the damage past 18, but I don’t know if it actually does more damage.

I tried the jump after you pick up the pink thing a bunch of times and didn’t get it, figured there must be another way but couldn’t figure it out. I checked out the video, realized I was right the first time, and got the jump on my next attempt. So, it was useful to me.

Thanks, Ljrules!

Pick the laboratory medium and go left. The area where the ammo spawns can’t be reached by the enemies. I used double shotgun and Pancor, had no problems whatsoever.

Topic: General Gaming / I need help on The Space Game: Missions

I was stuck on this, I beat this on Crazy a while ago, but it was really hard. (Its the one where you start with almost no money if I remember correctly) Placements matter a lot and you have to be quick and build in the right directions. You need multiple laser guns at first to deal with the first wave, then upgrade/sell them as the enemies attack vector changes. Don’t put multiple miners on the asteroids, try to keep it 1:1. I built up and to the right, then bottom near the end and barely pulled it off.

Topic: Kongregate / Ring Pass Not Achievement Should Be Altered

I have the exact same experience as the OP trying to win this badge and have long since given up on it. Invariably I’ll just not get the pieces I need on some level and my effort is flushed down the toilet as you then have to start all over from level 1. Game needs a checkpoint system or something.

I agree with Darkruler, luck is just something developers drop in to create artificial challenge or replay value. Very annoying when you’re determined to get a badge, but normally I just wouldn’t play such a game at all.

For the NES – The Immortal was pretty good. Also Final fantasy and Dragon Warrior and it had a pretty good Gauntlet.
SNES – Chrono Trigger, Ogre Battle, Killer Instinct…theres so many. Anyone ever try Demon Crest?

You did a good enough job making the game so horrible that I didn’t even bother playing through it once I figured out the workaround, why go through the additional effort of hiding more files? I don’t get why you would want to go out of your way to frustrate and annoy the 1% of your playerbase who were interested enough and took the time to check the forums to figure out how to see the rest of your content. I don’t get why you would spend time making ending movies, doing the voice work, etc. for something that you don’t want even 1% of your players to see. I get the point of your game, but this just seems like you’re taking it too far.

Topic: General Gaming / Favorite Mortal Kombat character?

I’ve only played cool old MK not lame new MK but my favorite was scorpion because of that move where he grabbed you, dragged you across the screen and delivered one of those brutal uppercuts that left you picking up your teeth after.

…Blanka of Street Fighter for me. The only character I’ll play, if I can help it. Lol.

My favorite character in Street Fighter was Blanka too…loved the roll. Guess I like characters that can move in real quick.
