i really liked this blizzard descendant.. played it to level where i can unlock next dungeon according to description and bam payment in gold to unlock this feature.
So warning to all if you not feel like paying money to play, better not waste time.

first a great game:) and great puzzle with zodiacs (currently cracking my head how to get looters party 9 highest ratio from 7 predefined(Tau,Can,Ar,Sag,Leo,Libra,Virgo) :) ), good battle tactics
balance:
- pretty weird but despite some nasty things i think it holding up
now bad things:
UI is obtrusive and get in a way
-mines collecting and setting up.. gosh if that is so bad make one click it one hole red button collect all and set max costly production
-draggin map to find resource
-missclicking close buildings
performance:
-i suppose you use XHTTPRequest “post req” which somehow async and slow. sometimes is, sometimes not.. add (web)sockets support/permit while not recived answer or something + review caching and request mecha… some weird things going on currently

random game freeze.
happens ingame and after unit placement may related to server connection.
game will not respond to battle map controls or any actions, window focus is stealed(chrome). happened 6 times one in game and all other after troop deployment.

glitches still present. Iseland X : players just dissapear even close (2-4 tanks corpses,riding on tank) , possible hide in walls/terrain, sniper kills on spawn spot right after spawn, helicopters lag-out incoming missles.

Pointless statement; Still playing one-man-company is possible on small projects, despite my pia in r/l collaboration exp(as well as good ones) it teaches me thing mentioned in previous post. It’s all about people collaboration. And read again with logic – only actions can lead to unusable result no matter by who, and it’s upto you to get or not what was wrong and move ahead.. in your case look like(based on post) internal dispites/lack of general plan.
.loosy ground. but still you lack arguments.. they are one sided based on bad exp, with blame tags without reasoning.

replace Zombies with “popular trend” it’s like nature seasons will change:)
and one more it’s good for big project to pick popular trends as some minor features.. yet they are not nessesary= too short living. btw zombies imho in end of period.
memes = culture spots : sometimes good for precise target audience… but nightmare for wide audience. can be pics/ideas/even music.
architectonics = symbolic rewards for playing game: ahem… nasty pics in old time..(Kings of Xenitar,Cobra Mission) ahem… just remember “archivement unlocked” K game it’s all about it.
GStyle/Art/Challange= “just keep walking”: people like to enjoy game.. point is puzzle is puzzle, strategy is strategy novell is novell, horror q is horor q,game is game no game engine test or my pics collection. if you can handle mix/innovation ok just keep familiar aspects as base.
Time investment described as “casual gaming” : yet casual games is “sudoku”, “card games”, minesweeper. But time format is same don’t make long unstoppable gameplay.. it does not suit audience.
And don’t listen to anyone who tells he know how to make profitable games:) just split it out get what you need in your case to fix wha’st goes wrong.
im not a gamedev, just some guy being around industry.

2qwerber Remember game is collaborative product if someone not collaborate you don’t need him and that’s only reason:)
2soc you know people outside of working env have clear vision on some topics. Programmers don’t care about gfx and vice versa. So what is bad in product testing by people who not involved in “mechanics”? only actions can be useless, not people/roles.

second level floor? is there a reason?
obstacles = no shoot thru, no passing until destroyed(but can be shoot over) as separate types(one for cover and reload/heal, one to slow advance)

to keep performance reasonable(and big maps option possible),close battle value added
a good idea to implement FOV, npc hits/actions calculated in code if they outside of screen area or FOV.
as alternative moving on static maps and trigger combat screen if enemy is near(shorter battles,wipe fx(bullets) after end).

+1 idea you cam move some onmap objects to make onsite fortification in case huge trouble moving in! some objects like cars need huge str or int(wiretap), amount of objects moved based on agility.

2SourFoe yes there is slight variety of difficulties(easy cash + defenses,still hard level still not finished by me:)) )
About all other things: I i don’t want to see another TD game ! there is one masterpiece of this genre and army of clones already.
What fun in this game?for me is that there is base that defended and risk missions on enemy line(well not so “risky” as i wanted:))..
most close PC games to this is imho Rainbow6,Xcom,Tom Clancy Ghost recon.

Strategy: i really would like if you place tactic role for close combat units(or close combat secondary skill added + close quater combat vs open space(long range)). I see good way for sequel as base HQ/bar and mission multi-map areas(in pre A1 game it was very fine released) + Random stats/upgrade/scrap for parts of items could be awesome if there enough time for it, otherwise i suggest research new tactic models for open space combat + good push on general storyline/gameworld building.

a note of warning: A1 if left playing for long time,slowing down a lot(spawn objects in loop?gfx issues?) i suggest testing performance very seriously as more eye candy placed more chances to trigger A1 engine leaks. if it’s possible add actionscript efficient resource control.

So i reached bump lv19 with onlyPvp/mining left. All real b.sys revealed to me in all shine and greatness..with sole buy max gun use max gun shine..dead end.
How could this be fixed?How could this game be really good to return and play some more hours for pvp or q?

What is space sim? for me it’s privateer,X,tachyoon(best imho),spacerangers,x-com,elite etc.(old titles)

)different damage types particles(lasers(mazers),photon,etc),missles,bullets(including gauss)
)different weapon/support equipment sizes!(why would you buy new “league” ship?To install bigger modules!)
)Supportive system must not be left useless, it must directly affect dps/dps def!
with power to shift combat results(very good if power generation will be used to restore shield/recharge weapons inbattle(or affect dps)).
)Trade/mining system! at least make different items manufacture buy at different locations.
)Galaxy system = only trade /manufacture stations + few close nodes must be safe pvp zone! Galaxy nodes number must be at least 5x more (even for 75 kong players,even with mining only nodes,would be good if with every new player new node created).
)Energy use/balance – bigger cannons more energy used, smaller cannons =less. This will distinct destroyer/fighter/cargo type ships. Energy can be buyed for res that dropped mine/npc. Energy used on Pvp = not restored but you will get pvp only items like tags/bounty.
)Bounty System = factions. Players can place bounty on other players(yes privateer system). + faction will auto increase system bounty on player that killed their ships.
)Repeatable Quests bad idea, player/faction generated much better.
IF you want something bigger even greater timekill game.. putin planet-to-planet trade, really random stats on drops(including ships).
This how things works in spacesim. my personal note you probably will not write quest line quick enough,so concentrate on b.sys first.

first get base autoclickers are not bots. Even some hardware now shipped with autoclick/macro functions(joys,mouse,keyborads).
Regarding program bots(that quite often used by devs itself:)) in current gameplay system they shold cause no trouble regarding other players gp. And yes bots are legal if you not signed official papers where stated otherwise:)
