If it’s your first ascension, then do SI at around 5000-6000 with autofight, unless you think you can reflect-idle the boss mob.

Given the popularity of the Berserker armor as a mid-game armor set, I figured it might be cool for it to have a sort of “companion” weapon.

I was playing Rome: Total War the other day, so the idea behind this axe is loosely based on one of the units in the game. The idea I had was that the Berserker Axe, when equipped with a full set of Berserker armor, would give the player a significant damage and damage resist boost BUT it would take away the ability to manually use any skills or potions. Couple that with a slow attack speed (it is a big ol’ axe after all) and I imagine that it would make for a decent yet not overpowered (hopefully) companion weapon for the Berserker set.

For humorless individuals who are unable to recognize a joke; this is a joke.

I was looking around on the User Made Guides/Helpful Threads thread and saw that there wasn’t a single guide for the button machine; I’ve decided to rectify that.

Part I: Buying your button!

Choosing a button that fits your needs and personal style can be a long, challenging process. Thankfully, A: TG only has one button available for purchase, narrowing down the search considerably!

Part II: Using your button!

The button machine may be intimidating to first-time users. “What are purple buttons?” and “why is the button all sideways an- HOLY SHIT, IT MOVES?!” are both common reactions from first-time users of the button machine. I’m here to tell you that you needn’t fear the button; instead, you should embrace it!

To use your button, simply hover your mouse over the button, as near to the center of it as you can manage, and left click.

PROTIP: All the cool kids hover their mouse over the button and hold shift instead of left clicking.

If done correctly, the button will move slightly to the right and judge the accuracy of your click, after several more clicks, the button will reach the edge of the gray slider containing it, and begin moving slightly to the left.

The accuracy ratings for button clicks are as follows:

Miss – You’ve failed to click the button, you’re a disgrace and you dishonor your family.

Hit – You’ve successfully managed to click the button, but you still bring your family great dishonor.

Good – You’ve successfully managed to click the button without embarrassing yourself.

Nice – You clicked the button and are fairly comfortable with the concept.

Great – You are an adept clicker of buttons.

Excellent – You’re very good at clicking buttons! Achieving this will net you the usual rewards and 1 blue coin.

Perfect – You’re a button clicking master (or you just got lucky)! Getting a perfect click will get you the usual rewards, 3 blue coins, and 1 purple button.

Part III: Maintaining your button!

Repeat the clicking process ad nauseam and eventually the button will break — do not fear! Though the urge to burst into tears at this shocking turn of events will likely be great, you need not do that, for you can repair your beloved button!

After your button breaks (or after your button’s slider turns red; for those seeking a high combo), you should direct your mouse cursor to the “repair” button and click it. Doing so will repair your button and subtract a nominal fee for services rendered (in the form of yellow coins) from your treasury. If you’re trying to achieve a high combo (dat 10,000 combo achievement), then you’d best be quick about repairing your button, lest your combo disappear. If not, then you’ve got nothing to worry about.

Part IV: What about purple buttons?

If you’ve been reading this guide, then you should already know that achieving a perfect click will reward you with a single purple button. You can use these purple buttons to buy things in the button machine’s store (don’t do this), or save them for later and feed them to your pet when you get one (do this).

¹ You could also just never use them for anything and brag about it in A: TG chat, but nobody will care and most people will probably just mute you.

On Christmas Eve, 2009, Tukkun posted this legendary game. Some of us have been with it from near the beginning, and some of us have only just begun stumbling into the vast expanses of this gem of a game.

Tukkun’s is a one man show, and aside from the occasional bits he gets from players, everything in AI:TG is Tukkun’s doing.

He’s been regularly updating the game with loads of new content for three; going on four; years.

He doesn’t get paid.

He doesn’t ask players for anything (other than basic respect when it comes to high scores submission and hacking).

So basically; let’s all just take a minute and give Tukkun the praise he deserves.

Also, sometimes if your computer shuts down or logs you off while AI:TG is still running it deletes your save.

It’s happened to me a few times before – not fun. Luckily I’d recently backed up every time that’s happened.

So I’ve got this issue with AI:TG. Everything runs perfectly EXCEPT the BA.

I’ve tried the zooming out trick, and after reading around, some people suggested downloading adblocker, so I did. Neither of those things did anything whatsoever to reduce lag.

My laptop is brand new, and can run games such as Fallout 3 and Torchlight II at max settings without even a hint of lag, but starts lagging horribly whenever I’m playing BA.

Anybody have any ideas?
