You probably want to turn off “Toggle pausing on popups” so that the stage keeps moving while you open chests.

While insta-killing everything and manually picking up the final items to advance stages, your pace is about 20 levels per 10 minutes. That puts you at 75 mins for level 150, so about 5 minutes of wiggle-room. If you’re cutting it really close, probably want to use 2-3 DPS buff cards in the last 5 or 7.5 minutes.

Using an 8 hour timewarp is really useful if you don’t have loads of idols. Use it when you first start to have trouble insta-killing to get your 1x exp (plus all the gold).

243 silver chests, 0 upgraded to jeweled (other than in the tutorial). I thought they must have removed that chance, but left it in the tutorial by accident.

The experience DPS boost has diminishing returns, so that’s not very useful to rely on. Anyone saying you don’t need idols is really missing the point. Their purpose is to shorten the amount of time required to get the next 25 levels on your main DPS, and to enhance how far those damage plateaus take you when you hit them. If you don’t have idols, it will take you forever to go on deep runs (even 150 or 200). They are the main longterm goal of this game (especially assuming that they’re going to introduce things to spend idols on, continuing to follow the game design of Clicker Heroes).

You have maybe like a minute left to spare, rushing through the first 150 levels in 79 mins. But you have to reset the world before the timer runs out, even after you get the green check mark, or it will retroactively fail you. Really annoying.

No the idols aren’t additive. At 400+ idols you’re pushing more like 7000% gold bonus when combined with panda/kaine/natalie. And it sounds like they’re going to eventually implement some things to spend idols on, in line with the general theme of basing this game off Clicker Heroes.

Did you not realize that the earlier characters get ramped up multiplicatively every 25 levels? That’s the only way your post makes any sense. Nate of course falls off very hard because he doesn’t have the level of dmg multipliers as werewolf, hermit, or sarah. But merci is in the same boat. One of his gear slots is wasted on some click dmg item. You would have to have a very specific gear/enchantment luck for merci to be the best DPS option.

The strength of the OP is that you don’t get to choose your gear/enchantments in this game, so being able to back-of-the-envelope your likely best DPS is useful. Knowing the base dps/dollar without gear can be a bonus, but often gets blown out of the equation by gear difference.

Can you explain the +- 20% swing range from gear? It seems like you’re saying the team DPS buffs are multiplicative (like Nate 10% & 10% leading to 21% buff total). But then are you saying the gear is additive on that, +- 20%, like if you have an epic gear on one and no gear on the other?

Topic: Kongregate / Homepage stuff/Recently Played Games

It’s pretty weird because this section is still there….it just gets hidden as part of the HTML load now. If you ‘stop’ kongregate from loading partially through, you can often get it to stop on the screen where this “recently played” list still shows, before mobile & notable games load in and take over the spot. Also you can ‘inspect element’ and see the HTML is still there, although adblocking the 2 new areas doesn’t help (blank space takes over there). I don’t know enough of any other add-ons that could mess with HTML load to preempt a fix.
