Have you not used the “profanity filter” solmonups194? Sure, some people are a-hole enough to get past it, but it should prevent most of it. And some people who use inappropriate language are funny. For example somebody who used the f-bomb teased my mild language filter going, and I quote (I think)

Fudgamajig
Thingymabob
Dam
(And some others that are old-fashioned but I cant recall.)

See what I’m saying? Not all people are bad who use foul language. They mostly use it to stave off the bullying kind. Some people can actually be funny who use foul language.

It should be that after half the rounds every player must vote to kick, even the allies. I see the problem you’ve outlined, and I agree with it thoroughly. Therefore a “Halfway Kick Block” would have to be implemented.

GameStop is half real to me. They need to start re-selling old-school games then I will take them more seriously. I heard a pirated piece of music from Thrillville Off the Rails on the title screen of Kongai. It’s driving me crazy as I’m a huge fan of that game, and people rated my comment about it down for telling the truth. Man has this place fallen.

First with two bogus Badges of the Day (Clockwords Prelude and the original Bubble Tanks) and now this pirated piece of music, my buttons are REALLY being pressed. At least take care of this music atrocity.

You bet. It’s a shame my own generation has a terrible sense of what’s right and wrong. Me on the other hand, I’ve got a disability and yet I think of others and how to help them. I don’t say “F.U.” (full words not acronym) or “G.D.” (Using the Lord’s name in vain is a terrible sin.) I also think that people who say that a game is F’ing stupid without explaining fully as to why is grounds for termination from the site, Kong Plus or not.

I feel like telling my generation a famous line from Gone With The Wind, but I won’t… It’s due to the possibility that behind the monitor is somebody who’s simply having a hard time in life, and may be the most charismatic, friendly kid in the world who knows. The way someone is in cyberspace can be completely different than their real live self.

Who here isn’t at least a tad proud of their accomplishments? It’s just a matter of how often a person gets flagged that tells how nasty they may be…and it’s real, and it’s a tragedy some just can’t recover from their fall from grace.

Well then this very recent update sounds perfect for you.
The playlists feature is getting rolled out to people slowly, but once you have it, you can move the games you want to play later to your playlists as apposed to your favorites.

I’ve seen this update on the forums, and I’m looking forward to it. However the most important Favorites Menu updates, as a result of the update, must be suggestions 1, 3 and 4. I can’t emphasize organizing that list enough.

Topic: ShellShock Live 2 / Two suggestions for game types

During a 2 on 2 game an opponents’s ally left and the opponent got control of his tank. Soon after my friend left and I got control of his tank. What did it lead to? A Multitank Duel!

Here’s the concept: Multitank Duel is a normal 3 on 3 (or 2 on 2 if you prefer) game but there’s just one opponent. In addition, all tanks on one side share the same stock so you must plan out each weapon to prevent a tank from not being able to shoot. Also, purchased supply boxes are disabled to prevent an unfair advantage. Proper strategy will lead to victory!

Multitank Duel’s Highlighted rules:

1. Shields are applied to only one player
2. Supply Packs are disabled, but may be found in boxes
3. Each player controls one tank at a time
4. All tanks on one side share the same arsenal.

Following on the arsenal-shared rule, a team battle twist would be nice. Each player would be able to use their weapons at will but if a player selects an ally’s weapon, that ally must allow or deny the weapon through a dialog box. This way people can’t upset each other by misusing their weapons.

Team Arsenal’s highlighted rules:

1. Teams are able to choose an ally’s weapon with game-initiated permission.
   Ally 1’s tank is a dark green, and ally 2’s tank is a bright green, and their weapons have an identical background color.
2. Teammate colors change with the theme you’ve chosen to prevent eyestrain.

I hope you support my proposition.

The best thing you can do is to get SwiffOut for Firefox. In addition, if you make a SwiffOut shortcut you can launch the game in fullscreen without Firefox launching. How cool is that?

Somebody suggested I place this in the Suggestions thread, so here we go:


I’d like to place a few update suggestions for the favorites feature. It’s not a very efficient page right now, and taking these suggestions at the hilt may increase business for Kongregate.


Number One – Page Inefficiency


It’s not cool to have to scroll to the bottom of the front page for your eighth-most-recently-favorited game. It should easily be near the top. So streamline it and make it like this:

Instead of this inefficient layout:

2 10
3 11
4 “Game Spotlight”

So change it please. I’m not going to go all the way down the page for something I want to play immediately.

It saddens me that I can’t access my true favorite games…the ones I’ve had buried in my favorites list for I-don’t-know-how-long. I’ve forgotten their names and reputation as a result. So add a filter that says “Real Favorites” and make it that the games that I’ve truly respected for the longest appear.


Number Three – Most Played filter is flawed


Each user’s play statistics say what games are their real favorite games. But when you use the “Most Played” filter in the Favorites menu, it’s not personal. It includes ALL users, which is a pain in the booty as games that aren’t your most played appear at the top. Make it that the most frequently played by that user appears at the top.

If it’s too expensive, make this a Kong Plus feature, and remove the filter otherwise.


Number Four – Kong Plus user exclusive features


- No “Game Spotlights” getting in the way

- Most Kreds Spent (a filter for games that you used the most Kreds spent on, games not paid for will not appear)

- Double Favorites (A second star for games you play all the time or want to stay at the top of the list)
This may sound similar to my Real Favorites suggestion, but what if you could make those games appear at the top every single time?


So what do you guys think?

Topic: Kongregate / Request for a Feature. Online save.

Wouldn’t it be fairly easy to allow account saves exclusively for Kong Plus members? This way, the most serious of players would be the ones allowed to save on the account, and not people who don’t use their account for three months straight.

That sucks like heck. Maybe it was a part of an update where people were taking advantage of a supplies glitch…and you were collateral? I feel sorry for you.

…This is not good. Kongregate moderators, do you hear this? Your Cinematic Mode has failed, and I’m hardly playing any games anymore. Being forced to use the Firefox add-on SwiffOut is NOT cool. Well, it’s a great backup and I’m not spreading the word as much as I should. In fact, I would think that Kongregate should have it integrated into the system for Kong Plus players. But that’s besides the point, and I digress.

Moderators! Mobilize! Show us Kongregate members you’re the real deal!

I have the same problem, I have Firefox, what I consider to be the ultimate Web browser. I’m lucky to have SwiffOut but that is not a pretty proposition. I hate IE with a vengeance after not loading much of my content in the past so fix this fast.

I have become a huge fan of Cinematic Mode and I wouldn’t play any games without it. And I am without it. I have been all day since 3:00. I’m very lucky that I have SwiffOut installed in Firefox, but I don’t want to use it very often. Please get Cinematic Mode back online ASAP. Thank you.

Under what circumstances do you say you weren’t “multi-farming?”

Was it that your friend has multiple accounts but in truth his other friend was controlling one of them?

Please reveal any and all details! Maybe you’ll become un-banned depending on your circumstance.

I know if I had multiple computers and I had a couple of lower-aged friends, I might’ve had them control a couple of accounts for me for multi-player games. speartion, as I said, reveal any and all details of this “cheating” (according to TheCongressman).
