How much do you earn?
I wonder how much u get from a sponsorship, is there a certain ammount u get, not depending on game plays?
Would be really interesting to know.

Celebrity-like Game
Honestly, like anyone would care?
I mean there are so many games out using the name of popular people,
for example Jesus Raptor vs Chuck Norris,( dunno whether thats the right name, but hey it had like 40k clicks)
I mean many games use also sprites from old Snes games and so forth. The thing is as long as ur not selling ur game, and the only way of income is through ads or sth, nobody gives a shit.

Kongregate losing its name
The thing is, that u cant rate every game by the same standards since this would mean that like 95% percent of the games on this page wouldnt even deserve 2 stars.
I for myself rate this way: 1 star, i really only give 1 star if the game is really bugged, unplayablle or not even a game…..
2 star, every game where i can c that the dev put at least work into….
3 star, i played it for a while, didnt love it, but at least somehow the dev tricked me into playing his game more than a sec….
and so on…..
hope u understand what i mean, and sry, ur game isnt anything special (gameplay, and so forth) and YES its maybe way better than the shitty games i uploaded yet, better implemented and so on, but as i said, u cant compare them……but i can compare ur game to the other unity games in degress of innovation…..and there i have to say, not so much
but thats not the point, dont wanna mock u or sth, just hope u get what i mean
there are so many things. i mean everyone knows this “dont press the button games” or “button” games at all, yeah they are mostly all the same, there are even button games, that are only clicking and reading text and one of them (dont know from which dev it was) has like 30.000 clicks and 4.stars rating………….so explain this to me^^ and y i am talking about one of the normal button clicking games “hey, dont click me, blablabla” nothing more………..
whatsoever
cheers!

The Programmer's Manifesto (Complete)
Well, learning something new, doesnt necessarily means that it is better, although it is harder……
Best example AS2 and AS3. Yeah, there are many discussions about it, i know but dont u think it is more clever to first learn a language and fully understand it, instead of switching sides everytime something more complex and “useful” comes out?
As3 sure has many features that make it a lot better than As2, but it takes so much more time and code to do something basical……

Copyright issue maybe..?
The Terms "Jedi Master " or “Sith Lord” have become a part of our culture^^ I mean its used in tv-series and so on, and even names are used like everywhere. u dont think that anybody pays for that…….do u? (and if u really have to pay for that, america is a sick country xD )

Flash vs Unity
Well, sure people have to adapt, but to me all this 3d shit is no art. Some flash games are to me like a piece of art, the drawings, the style, everything, even crappy stickman games have their special atmosphere, but 3d is always 3d. or most of the time, everything looks the same. i think the kids today have no sense for anything anymore. to them it is always better what is the newest. (sorry kids xD )
i mean i will continue to learn flash, but if it is really necessesary in the future, i am sure ready to learn unity, but still i dont like it somehow. if i wanna play highend games, i will buy a ps3 oder buy them with real highend graphics……

Flash vs Unity
Hi Folks,
so my Question is, do u think that Unity will replace Flash over the years? I mean i just started making Flash Games, and i fear that when i learn to programm better in Flash all people will already play only Unity Games becuz of the “better Graphics”
I mean, i dont have any problems with “crappy”, or “drawn” graphics, actually i love them, and the game itself must be good. But all this children and teenagers out there are in my opinion so strong focused on good graphics (what i honestly dont understand…..“wow this game has good graphics so it must be good….”) that they wouldnt even consider playing a game thats not made in 3d.
I know that no bigger developer here will read this thread, but it would be pretty interesting. How many of u decide to do unity games now? and why? or what are ur fears, will u continue to make flash games?
Greetings, Blobzone!
