Topic: Swords & Potions 2 / Bug Reports and Issues

Seems to be a bug when learning new crafting. When I discover a recipe that requires an upgraded furnishing piece (anvil, table, etc) it will let me start learning it, then crash at the end of the day. When it reloads and restarts the day then it shows that I need to upgrade the piece to learn the recipe.

You have to go into your inventory, find the schematic (under component I believe), click it and unlock it. Then it should show in crafting.

Being able to help other people is… actually pretty nice. I didn’t know about that, thank you. Does having more than 1 person on 1 junk pile really decrease time? I have 3 on 1 and the time seems to be ticking normally.

Topic: The Last Stand: Dead Zone / Slow start?

I’m not complaining or anything, but I’ve played a lot of games like these and never had to wait so long in between doing things. Am I missing something here? It’s been less than 24 hours since I started and I have to wait 4 hours for things to finish building/junk to be removed. I can go Scavenge but so far it hasn’t been incredibly worthwhile. Is there something else to do, or does this game just start slow?

I may be crazy here, but I thought I had some change on the mount training quest (3/5 or 4/5). Just used 1 and I’m at 1/5. Anyone else have this?

Topic: Wartune / [Info] Suggestions

As someone who plays this game way too much (mostly at work) I’d like to see more interesting encounters in the wild, like finding a door that leads to a mini campaign like cave with some mobs to kill. I’d also like to see treasure chests encounters drop gold instead of trash gear that only sells for 600 gold.

Topic: Wartune / Random bugs with patch

Not sure if this came with the patch, but I never noticed it before. The character model moves really far down the screen now, which makes it hard to continuously move down. Especially with the hotkeys and chat window, there is a very small clickable area. Makes it hard to run supplies in Battlegrounds.

I don’t know how Mages generate rage, but I have trouble believing it’s worse than Knights. With 2 talents in improving rage generation (which is the only thing I can find short of armor sets that can increase it) we can generate 25 rage every 2 turns max. First Ultimate attack requires 80, second requires 100. So it would take 8 turns using the most basic skill, and the default attack when you don’t select a skill to pull off an ultimate attack.

Agree 100% on sockets. Seems like a very big pay-to-win feature right now (lvl 32). Not sure if being fully gemmed has less impact at higher levels, but right now going against someone with full gems is an exercise in futility.

The problem isn’t they have shorter cooldowns, it’s that attacks are calculated based on how fast you press the button. So if you wait 1 second after an attack to select a new one, they get a 1 second advantage. I’m not 100% sure, but I think entering QTEs will also delay the attack. And since AIs pick almost immediately, it means they can get an attack ahead in a few turns. So basically if you aren’t speed mashing an attack constantly, and doing QTEs lightning fast, you are slowly losing a turn. Also means people who lag or have slow computers will suffer and always attack last.

I can see wanting 10 if you get an NotG and a few Alchs (though I hear Alchs are obtainable in Draft/Gold packs anymore) and wanted to try and cycle 10.

Topic: Clash of the Dragons / Question on Brawl Bosses that skip turns

I’ve noticed when a brawl boss plays or depletes a card that skips a players turn, the turn skip portion always targets the next player. Was just wondering if this is how it is intended. For example, say the turn order is Player 1, 2, Brawl Boss (BB), 3, 4, 5. Player 1 hits BB and depletes a Prince Felendis (Or similar card), then player 2’s turn is skipped. This I can somewhat see since if it targets the player who depletes it (which makes more sense to me) and they deplete 5, then they pretty well won’t have a turn for the rest of the fight. I really think it’s odd though when the BB plays Torment (or the like) against player 1, deals 5 dmg or w/e to them, and then player 3’s turn is skipped.

It’s not just GMT that works, elixer of might/slaying proc too (or did at least). All potions are supposed to proc from it normally, they’re looking into it.

I stand corrected. Seems only certain potions trigger from it. After getting some E and messing with it further, Elixir of Slaying and Might both procced normally, but Incendiary Flask and Necro’s tonic don’t. So I guess it is a bug (In hindsight having it displace would be a bit OP).

I went ahead and tested the card, I think it’s just a wording error. Many Whelps! displaces cards instead of depleting, so on deplete effects don’t trigger. Fought an NPC with a Whelps cycle and got rid of all 4 of his potions without one triggering. So… maybe a Dev will see this and change the wording (And on a side note, Sir Neville’s NPC envy should really read displace as well).

Try clearing cache/cookies? I was having a problem where every brawl froze 2 turns in or so, and that fixed it for me.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [The Grinns Tale] Efficient Resource Farming

Depends what you want to do. No weapon will get more resources per enemy, but will cost more food per as well. And since the killing blow usually produces more of the resource, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [The Grinns Tale] Efficient Resource Farming

He’s going for resources per attack. IMO, Scaver with Rico and a Mage + w/e you want (I use a cleric, but another Mage or Scaver would work) is best for farming since sometimes you run into groups for 6(1×6 > 2×2)

Edit He probably meant higher level farming with the 2nd rank of ricochet so… yeah, that sounds like the best way to farm higher up. My comment is more lower-mid level farming

Topic: Clash of the Dragons / "SNC!" instead of "Draft"..... Bug?

I think he means the icon changing…. only problem I had with it was that it stayed on crafting/brawl screens.
