Murs: If that “whole bunch of content” is hidden behind a massive paywall, but only pretends to be free to lure in unsuspecting players, then the game boils down to pay-to-win or endless grind. LOL these guys are impossible at Level 20 now. Devs, nerf the Warriors in Golem or take them out of the Daily Tasks already… /ragequit

EDIT:Just remembered that you buffed the AI too! And yet you left these overpowered AI teams hanging around. Wtf… I don’t like the direction this game is heading in. With all the “Diamonds only” premium content, and forcing players to cough up Gold for respeccing, sounds more like P2W than F2P to me.

I would have preferred you left the dedicated AI Battle button as it was. It’s pretty discouraging to casual players when – if all you wanna do is test a new build – you click on Battle, wait the mandatory 10 seconds before anything happens, and face Zumato time and time again knowing that defeat in inevitable. Casual playing for Task and Goal completion was the main reason I returned to this game day after day, and I don’t think I’m alone in that. I would like to see the return of the AI Battle button for quick casual battles.

MAJOR bug:
Daily Reward reset itself just as I had finished doing it! I had one task remaining (Arena battles) with plenty of time, and when I went to collect my reward there was a whole new set of Tasks which coincided with the start of a new Brawl. This is despite the fact that I had completed yesterdays Tasks much less than 24 hours earlier, so why would the game trick me with a new set of Tasks and fewer than 24 hours to complete them? This is ridiculous and totally a waste of my time. I look forward to the next update patch and hope for (much) fewer bugs…

LOL both those things got massively nerfed. Burn attacks now inflict far less burn, and Speed is not very useful anymore. Other major nerfs include Intimidate and Slash Face. On the positive side, nearly every attack has seen a dramatic reduction in Mana cost, so we see much more variability in builds now.

No rifa, not YOUR Warriors. I mean the 4x Warriors teams in the Story Events, who have far greater stats than any player can normally attain. They are exceptionally powerful, especially after the latest patch since Intimidate —> Slash Face got nerfed. Make sense?

techtw: Thanks for that! Actually I figured out a rather lame way to beat them with my regular team. Have my front Warrior cast only defensive spells, have my Mage Healing the Warrior constantly, and have the Rogues use Headshot as much as possible. The only problem is that this battle takes forever(!!) compared to everything else because I normally rely on my Mage to do the heavy damage but he is forced to be a healer. So I still think this particular Story mode team should be nerfed (a little).

Devean: I’m glad to know someone else feels my pain. :P Just stick to Defensive Aura and Mage Healing, then focus on killing them one at a time. That will give you the best chance but it will still take a very long time to down them all. Good luck (and don’t quit!)

Arthanasios: As an example, the 4x Warriors in Golem, at Level 19, have the following stats: ~1400HP, ~45 Speed, 120 Mana, decent Attack, and 25% Stun Resist. Armor helps very little against Impale. Poison doesn’t do anything because they have massive Mana so you just end up wasting a turn. I was able to win after respeccing my Warrior to massive HP and Regen, but I wouldn’t use that build in PvP. The point is that they are disproportionately powerful compared to everything else in Events, with massive Armor, HP and party buffs, and their stats need to be lowered.

techtw: I was talking about Events like Yog-Sogoth. I especially agree that Warriors also rule Brawl, but that’s another matter.

rifathossain: What is your team and how do you beat them? And don’t say 4 Warriors. :P

They were designed in a time when Intimidate —> Slash Face could have ripped them apart. Now they are far too OP unless you happen to have 4x Warriors yourself. (Warriors seem OP anyway, especially in Brawls. But it’s still early days of the update so I won’t discuss this here.)

It’s unreasonable to force players to respec their entire team just to finish an Event for the sake of completing a Daily Task, then have them un-respec so they can play normally how they want to. It gets massively expensive at the higher levels.

Please nerf the Warriors in the Events, either their HP or their Damage. +1 if you agree, or please give some advice on how to deal with them using a Warrior, a Mage, and 2 Bows.

Arena battle bug against another player. I had the first three turns, and on the third turn I used my Warrior’s Enrage skill. Nothing happened and the counter went down to 0. And its still 0 and nothing is happening at all. When I refreshed it told me that I had lost the battle (even though I was on my way to 5-0!) >.< This kinda stuff is really rage inducing!

Multiple Bugs to report:

1. Pressing Train always matches me against a player. Pressing PvP usually does not!

2. I was in battle against an abusive player named “cristian1313” (who has been reported to Kong). He apparently left the battle either by surrendering or refreshing, but my game never updated and the screen just remained fixed and frozen. Here is the battle log below. When I restarted, you had already put an update disabling Surrender, so maybe that caused the bug…

Good advice dude. Too bad I got sick of waiting and just made my own armor set. :P

Conclusion: Useless… apparently Impale ignores all Armor and Resists even though this is not mentioned in the tooltip. Dunno if this was intentional or just a bug. Ah well.

Thanks Dragon. Though I was mainly asking about which is the better choice to mitigate physical opponents between 7% Armor and ~5% Melee/Physical Resist. It is not an obvious choice because it unclear exactly what Armor and Resist do to mitigate damage.

You can have gear with 7% Armor (least expensive), 5% Melee Resist, or 4% Physical Resist (most expensive).

The elemental Resists are useless since you can never be sure which element you will be hit with. The choice between Melee or Physical resist basically depends on whether or not you want to account for Bow damage.

That leaves us with 7% Armor vs ~5% Melee/Physical Resist. Which mitigates more damage from physical opponents? I’m inclined to believe that Resists are better based solely on their costs, but unfortunately this game provides very little information for gear speccing…

Topic: Rise of Champions / [Petition] remove anything brawl-related from daily tasks

I agree with you. Daily Tasks and Daily Rewards are the reasons I always log into this game at least once a day (usually encouraging me to keep playing even after I’ve completed them). Right now Daily Tasks are ruined with the Brawl tasks, the 20 Skulls task (because PvP is broken too), and the Progress Goal task which is completely nonsensical.

I think the Brawl tasks should really go into new Progress Goals. I won’t even bother playing everyday until this mess is cleared up.

But I am optimistic that the Devs are fixing everything behind the scenes as we speak. :)

Agreed with the above. Getting 1st in a Brawl is completely unreasonable. There is only a small window of opportunity to even do a Brawl, and getting 1st is simply a matter of luck rather than skill. Not to mention Skulls are incredibly difficult to continuously harvest; AI battles should also reward Skulls.

Brawl bug:
If you join a Brawl and there aren’t 6 players on cue, the remaining slots are made up of player AI’s. Occasionally your own AI will also be a part of the battle along with you! If your AI is matched on your team, this creates a 2 vs. 3 situation because you can’t have two instances of the same player on a team. It’s a very unfair way to lose and needs to be fixed, along with all the other Brawl bugs. Good luck. :)

Bugs that affect me most:
1. Pass doesn’t work anymore!
2. PvP does not reward Skulls, and only crappy Items and a pinch of Gems.
3. Nonsensical Daily Tasks that clash with Progress Goals, preventing you from finishing the Tasks.

EDIT:
4. PvP matches with human players take a LONG time to find! Even when the lobby is obviously full of people and Brawls fill up within seconds. This includes Arena matches.

Please update the GUI button colors. In particular the red crosses and the golden menu buttons. Not only are they too saturated, but their hover highlight colors are barely noticeable. It’s a small change, so hopefully it will be a small effort to fix.

Glove A: 8 N.Damage, 6 Agility
Glove B: 8 N.Damage, 4 All Stats

My Rogue had Glove B equipped. When I equipped my new Glove A (which gives higher Agility) my Speed didn’t increase enough to change, but my Damage went down!

How is this possible? I thought only Agility gave Damage to Rogues, and Strength was for equipping gear. (Note that after equipping Glove A I did not fall below the minimum Strength requirement for my gear.)

Help please. :)

Yeah you’re right. I won’t cry OP about everything until I at least hit level 20. But ideally the game should have a rock>scissors>paper balance throughout all 20 levels. Right now you just respec from one dominant build to another while grinding levels.

or you can just make 4 mage build to grind quickly ai untill lvl 20 and then decide what you like to play

“Grind quickly” doesn’t apply to this game, unfortunately.
