I’m trying it right now. R34, angels with druidline.
6d, 2h. 6189.7 m/s, 2.489e9 mana produced in this run.
The build isn’t optimal (made some mistakes), so the production could be better and the regeneration a bit higher.

I resetted the excavations and excavated 1000 times, than 1000 more and at last excavated max – this time I got it.

Mission accomplished

In fact you don’t really need even 1% chance if you reset excavations and excavate 1-2k times.
For example I had ~450 FC and got fairy2 and 300-400 Grand Balance was enough for Druid2.

50 levels is WAY too many idols to put into something you’ll only use very late in your runs. I only put 20 levels into it and I’m happy with the results.

How about using it in short runs?
I tried the following: started a new run and waited until I got 5 chests.
It took ~38-40 minutes.
I could get 17 idols. But opening 5 chests gave me enough gold to reset for 21 idols. This is 23,5% increase.

I wonder: scavenger increases gold found in silver chests up to +500%.
Could it be better to spend idols on this talent instead of those increasing damage?
+500% gives much more gold and opening 25 chests will give a lot of gold. So a lot of additional levels can be bought. Could it be more effective in earning idols/hour than increasing DPS?

By the way there is a great talent, which increases buff duration.
Maxed it gives +200% to duration. So rare speed buff is active for 22,5 minutes, uncommon is 15 minutes and common is 7,5 minutes.
Concidering a number of silver chests earned during a free play run, one can get several speed cards after each run. As they work 3 times longer now, idol/hour earnings can be consistently increased now without depleting the stock of speed buffs.

Open another window with the game – there are can “Play” with the upgrades and reset them. Then you can close the second window and return to the first window, where no idols were spent on the resets :)

Personally I like the idols upgrades. They give nice bonuses. Though I hope that talents on 600 level will bring quality changes and not quantitative.

Now I use Jason instead of the Clown thanks to gold bonus epic.
Also Thalia became a viable buffer with epic +40% dps to all.
And this is it.
Main DPS is still Sarah due to 2 dps epic.

What we were discussing in our chat room. Is that if brainwave can go above max duration and go on forever. Then keep brainwave at 10min. Then when your about to finish your run then make brainwave 24min long. The problem that we found out from that is: when can you be certain you can finish a run in the next lets say 24 hours? Especially the fact that you need miracle to hit at about the last 2min. Will you be able to get that to happen without breaking angel line? As we can predict miracles now.

So anyway it takes a lot of time to have really competitive production with faceless. And trying to “catch” Miracle. Well, they may be useful for breaking some difficult wall. But maybe several runs with Titans will be more efficient.

Most time I was withour D200, D320 to accelerate Brainvawe headstart bonus.

Well, on R25 Innkeeper isn’t so vital, I think. I see a variation of R25- Innkeeper, wonder how lower the income is, considering that now not 1 but 2 upgrades should be left out.

Tricky indeed. I also didn’t look at big icons at first.

And Innkeeper is dead because of this change:

Druid’s Grand Balance can now target buildings you have 0 of.

I’m not sure when Primal Balance is unlocked, but it works ony for druids and without it Grand balance will affect 0 deep mines.
So Innkeeper is useless or requires serious changes.

Would we need C300 with a maxed primal balance?

Well, the update improved this research:
now ncreases Grand Balance multiplier by x20 when hitting Stonehenge Circles.

So it could be useful if other researches give less.

Thanks to D4 brainwave with s375 generates more assistants, T2 increases Hive Mind.
But, saldly, this isn’t enough to compete with Titans.

Maybe Unique-Druids with maxed Primal Balance and C300 will be viable, but not sure.

One question more than:
With the same gold Ghost Beard’s formation deals a bit more damage.

So maybe it will be able to instakill longer therefore earning more gold and idols?

I wonder whether the difference is real or it was created by random situations. For example:
- in Grimm’s Tales formations there was more luck with drops for quests, which sped up the progression;
- In Ghost Beard more silver chests dropped, which slowed the progression.

Maybe it is just a deviation and on the next run Ghost beard will be faster?
