Topic: Games / buried tresure week over

I did them all. Some of them were pretty easy. Hardest for me was that one parachute game. That game pissed me off so many times.

Topic: Games / DOG EAT DOG

Now that I have the right thread this time… I’ll just paste my original post.

Yeah, this game isn’t very good. It’s just to slow for my taste.

I did beat it after my 5th try or so. Not to hard, just take your time and don’t rush to the edges. That’s a easy way to be killed. What would help is like a guide that shows when you can eat the grey dogs. I started to eat them around 45 or so. If you get that far, you get 200 points for everyone you eat so it’s pretty easy from then on. Good luck guys.

Topic: Serious Discussion / Mac vs. PC

When it comes down to it, PC’s are better at gaming (like paid for games, not flash games) and macs are better at basically everything else. They are easier to customize and in the end, easier to use. To bad that Apple sells them at such a high price… Still, if you are looking for a gaming computer, I wouldn’t recommend a mac. Get a cheap 600 dollar computer with a good processor and memory and then update the graphics card.

Topic: Games / Pandemic 2: Comprehensive List of Ridiculousness

Games usually don’t try to be real. When they called it “realistic mode” I’m sure they just thought it was a clever way of saying “This mode will be harder then relaxed”. I’m sure they didn’t really mean, this is how disease will spread and it is 100% accurate in every way. I say it again, it’s a game, it doesn’t need to be 100% realistic to still be fun. You guys can have fun making your list but just realize that free internet games can’t be totally realistic. I’m sure they thrive for fun more then realism anyway. Atleast I hope they do.

It’s a game. Shouldn’t think to hard with games. I’m sure it wasn’t thriving to be realistic. It was meant to be fun and challenging. It can also be frustrating but that’s part of the game. Still, your list is funny. Good work.

Topic: Music / What instrument are you best at in rock band?

I play guitar/bass on expert, no problem. Drums on expert besides some of the dLC stuff (such as that one new who song, bah). Singing I mostly do on medium or hard depending if I know the song or not. I can do some on expert but only my favorites.

Elder Scrolls 5 would be amazing. They did announce Final Fantasy 13, big surprise…

Topic: Games / E3 Discussion

Talk about your favorite or most exciting events that happened at this years E3 event. If you don’t know what E3 is, then your not a true gamer.

My favorite so far was the announcement of the entire Rock Band 2 Set list. 75 master recordings of various artists as well as a couple tracks made by the people of harmonix. It is shaping up to be one of the biggest games of the early holiday season.

Topic: Music / Scandanavian Black Metal

I thought Naglfar was Swedish. I might be wrong. Yeah, I don’t really like them that much it’s just the first thing I think of. I don’t have that much Black Metal because I don’t like it very much.

When I hear black metal, I think of Naglfar… Now those guys are a true Scandinavian black metal band. Children of Bodom are really good but they are melodic which is my favorite form of more intense metal.

Topic: Music / The Top Metal Bands!!

Nothing is wrong with us, we just don’t care for those bands as much as you do. I never listened to “see all that remains” and RatM only has a few songs I like.

I would if all their songs didn’t sound so similar. They aren’t bad if you like how they sound. I liked them for a while and can listen to their stuff but after a while it just gets annoying.

I think we should leave it at that just for the sake of the Topic. Leaves more to talk about.

Topic: Music / The Top Metal Bands!!

I agree with most things you say but I would definitely classify SOAD and Lamb of God as some form of Metal. Both are some form of metal as either Alternative or Grind or whatever. I don’t see how they aren’t. Care to explain?

TerrotKovenant, Isn’t there sub-genres of metal though? So even though Lamb of God is considered metalcore, it is still in the genre of metal. That’s how I always thought of it. The bands you listed are just more Death Metal then the ones you listed as not. I agree with you saying that Korn, Motley Crue, Bullet for my Valentine, and Guns and Roses are not metal at all though. Basically, what is the classification between metal and rock in your opinion?

Topic: Serious Discussion / have you experienced good or bad karma?

Unproductive, If my car wasn’t there, she would have been fine. It really wasn’t my fault but it did set up my failure in the end.

Yeah, truly, karma doesn’t exist. Coincidences do however.

Topic: Serious Discussion / have you experienced good or bad karma?

I was driving to my drivers test and a girl driving across from me failed because she didn’t stop for me (I had the right away). It’s a really dumb mistake and I go and take the test and make almost the exact same mistake and fail because of it. I never did that before. Now that’s a good case of bad karma.

That is bad luck. Well you did the best thing anyone could do in your situation by apologizing. Hopefully, you learned your lesson and will become a better person because of it. I just wouldn’t recommend doing something like that again. =P

Topic: Serious Discussion / The art of spamming (serious question)

Well, no they aren’t criminals but you are right. Most flamers are probably wimps in real life. I know I try my hardest never to get into a fight. I try to avoid them at all costs. It’s simply easier to be a total jackass and get away with it on the internet. This is definitely part of the problem.

It’s a neat tool. Can’t wait for the full game though. I’d rather build tanks and buildings then creatures.

Topic: Serious Discussion / The art of spamming (serious question)

If a person really had issues, regardless of age, wouldn’t they try to resolve it at a somewhat personal level. I understand what he is trying to accomplish by making Smabby look like an ass but his current strategy is kind of backfiring.

Topic: Serious Discussion / The art of spamming (serious question)

I’ve been to a lot of forums and seen my fair share of spammers. I always sort of wondered why people act like that and really how does it usually start.

When I first entered onto the internet, I admit, I was a big spammer. Now, I’ve sort of backed away from it and would rather observe it. Basically, my question is: Why do people tend to spam and flame other people and what do these people try to accomplish?

My overall opinion is that they do it for a number of reasons but the main being, maturity (or lack of). Immaturity, especially in a younger age, must provoke more spamming. Do they really think it will accomplish anything? If so, what? I just want to hear other peoples thoughts.

Su25FrogFoot, your basically right but I wouldn’t put dream theater in the same genre of, lets say, Lamb of God or Slipknot. Yeah, Systematic Chaos was not as heavy (except Dark Eternal Night XD) but it still owned a ton.
