Sometimes when you roll on a card, you might get rewarded a free spin. In this case, I think getting a free spin is pretty sweet actually, but I agree that the free spin being in the roll is just a waste of time.

Those ideas are very good indeed, I agree with all of them.

I thought the deck editor lag only happened to me, but now I see it’s not my computer’s fault. They still need to do something to increase live play activity, but I think those issues are more important and need to be addressed first.

I get very annoyed at the fact that I’ve bough 5 Harrowing’s pack so far (I stopped buying it when I found what I wanted) but have only 8 Harrowing’s cards. That’s less than 2 Harrowing cards per pack. I think the next expansion should have a lot more cards to be honest. Something like 10 epics, 20 rares, 30 uncommon and 40 commons (100 cards). The con would obviously be the time needed to make such expansion, but I think it would be worth it.

I also agree with SabakuNoGaara, we need daily rewards greater than 30 days, or something like that. The thing is, I hate receiving a simple moon shard when I have a 70 days streak. I think the lesser rewards should be locked when you reach a high enough streak. Because seriously, receiving 50 gems or a moon shard means nothing to a player that’s been playing this game for over two months.

I was about to level up, but couldn’t wait for the match to finish, had to go. So I just left the match, knowing I had already gained enough ingame xp to level up. I did level up after I left the match. I did not, however, receive a tank upgrade. So apparently when you level up by leaving a game you don’t receive a tank upgrade. That’s lame.

Topic: Card Monsters / I need more coins! Here's my suggestion

I really like this idea bmuell, that’s a very good system you came up with. That’s not dificult at all to implementr, since edgebee already keeps track of how many consecutive logins you have, that’s just a matter of doing some simple maths.

The swarm boost idea is not bad, but the coins income boost due to consecutive logins is a far better idea and I think it should be implemented.

I think instead of working hard to make a roulette revamp, they should leave it like it is, and add this little nice feature bmuell has suggested.

To sum it up: bmuell01’s idea = easy solution that actually works.

Topic: Card Monsters / Crystal Cost BALANCE

I had an idea, not sure how good it is, but what if they implemented decimal numbers, but not in the way it has been already suggested here.

My idea is, if a card costs 3.6, instead of rounding it to 4, round it to 3.5. If a card costs 3.4, instead of rounding it to 3, round it to 3.5. This way we wouldn’t have cards of same strength (3.4 vs 3.6) with different costs (3 vs 4), we would have both cards costing the same.

So my suggestion is: allow us to use .5 cost cards. No need to multiply anything. The game doesn’t get more complicated as it would if we multiply everything x10, as a matter of fact I think it wouldn’t get more complicated at all. I mean, how much is 3.5 + 2.5? We get it straight away, 5 is usually an easy number to work with. As BULWAHR said, 27 + 16 isn’t quickly seen as 43, but I’m pretty sure 1.5 + 2 is quickly seen as 3.5.

100 free tokens for everyone sounds about right for a Christmas gift.

A new special christmas-related ability would be nice as well. I already had a few ideas, but they all suck. Maybe someone can come up with something nice.

Oh, maybe on the Christmas day you guys could double the chances of getting epics in boosters. Just for that day of course. So all regular boosters would be at 20%, while elite booster would be at 40% (I can already see lots of people spending tokens on redraws that day)

I see your point Irabelo, it actually makes sense, but I don’t know. It feels like this will just increase the difference between strong and weak players, as from now on strong decks will be getting far more gems everyday, while regular decks will just sometimes be in the top 5.

By the way, I agree with gnostic. With increased difficulty, there should be an increased reward in coins / xp.

Well, I’m opening this topic so we can discuss the new changes on the duels system.

In my opinion, expert duels are too difficult with the changes. In Diamond League, the AI starts with 9 crystals. Sacrifice a crystal card, and that’s 12 crystals. Second turn, with another sacrifice (most decks have at least two sac cards), that’s 18 crystals with just 2 sacrifices.

I think that’s too much. Winning 20 times in a row is almost impossible. Only few players with godly decks are able to at the moment. Then again, I don’t even want to think what facing their decks in expert is like.

But let’s not worry about that, we still have the Hard fights. Oh, what’s that? AI starts with 6 crystals at hard? So the new hard is the old expert. Except you’re rewarded with less points for wining.

I could write a lot more, but I won’t, I’ll just let you guys give your opinions.

Topic: Card Monsters / The future of CM

Guys, there’s no need to change currents crystal cost. I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing cards that never change cost as they level, like a card being 3/3/3/3/3. The reason for that, is the same reason why some cards get cheaper as they level, leveling up reduces the costs of abilities.

I’m really worried about gems cost for new evos though. There’ll be at least 2 new evos, and at most 8 new evos, so I hope they’re not that expensive.

About the replay system, that’s really neat.

As for the roulette revamp, we’ll have to wait and see what changes.

Global swarms and tournament are much waited changes, I’m looking forward for that :D

Topic: Card Monsters / Lvl Up vs Buy Boosters

Evolving your turtle won’t help you as much. The Ninju’tsurtle has always been my main tank, and he stayed at max xp for a really long while. I figured that because he gets more expensive as he levels (5 crystals) I would only level him when I had 2 sac cards, so I kept buying masters. One day I got a kukulkan (epic all around monster), and my deck got 10x stronger.
So my advice to you is, unless you can compensate the cost of level 2 turtle, keep buying masters (I don’t advice to buy expansion until you got a considerable card pool from master), who knows what you might find.

I agree with both of BLAAAZE’s suggestions.

About level 4 cards, I have an idea.
A Glittering Evo could be used to level a charged common monster from level 3 to 4, or to raise a charged uncommon monster from level 1 to 2.
A Natural Evo could be used to level a charged uncommon monster from level 3 to 4, or to raise a charged rare monster from level 1 to 2.
The Mystical Evo would follow the same rule, and to level a charged epic monster from 3 to 4, a new Evo could be created. The cost could be something like 500k gems or 10.000 tokens.

This way, there wouldn’t be the need to create a lot of new evo’s, and the crystal prices wouldn’t change at all.

Well, M80 is currently break 30* and strike 20*, for 4 crystals, right?

I think that isn’t too strong, specially because it’s an epic card, an I think smashing bombs is only rare, right? So I think this cards isn’t overpowered at all.

But if there’s the need to change it, making it only a strike all card with a greater damage could fix the problem. It would still be strong enough to do considerable damage to armor, and would do heavy damage to monsters with no armor, but it wouldn’t do both at the same time.

The Feline Rider is somewhat nice, but the charge ability being activated only once means that he’s not that usefull after his first attack, so he’s almost like an “usable monster”.

At level 3 he has flying, 40 melee, 30 charge and 40hp. Cost 3 crystals.
Kukulkan, at level 3, has flying, 40 melee, 30 ranged and 50 hp. Cost 3 crystals.

At level 2, Feline Rider has flying, 40 melee, 20 charge and 40 hp. Cost 3. So, you’ll need to farm 100.000 xp to get 10 extra charge.

In my opinion it would be better to just increase his cost by 1 and make him a rare card. Or make him cost 2 crystals at level 3.

About the drain crystal thing… I think those monsters, when sacrificed, should give you +1 Crystal, just like a stronger version of the regular Crystal ability. This would justify the cost, and at the same time, make the ability more useful.

Or you could make it that when a monster with drain crystal destroys another, you would get half of the crystal cost of the destroyed monster… it would give more of a “draining” feeling. Example: I play a drain crystal card, and the monster with that ability kills a fortified shield = +3 crystals to me. Another example: Drain crysal card destroys Pile of Trash = +2 crystals.

But the best solution would just to lower the cost of that ability, because as it is, it’s useless.

That’s an awesome idea, I completely agree with that.

However I think you forgot to mention one thing, ExclusiveStache. I know it’s quite obvious but I think it needs to me mentioned anyway. This Season system would need to have different leagues, just like duels have. So the stronger alliances stay in the top league, while weaker alliances stay in lower leagues. So, in the end of each season, the best alliance(s) in a league goes to the next league, and the worst alliance(s) to the previous one.

That would imply a limited number of alliances per league, but that’s how I think it should work. Something like 10 or 15 alliances per league. I don’t know how many active alliances are there currently, but I think that should be enough to the creation of about 5 leagues.
