Hey, I’m using the last version of Better Kong, and some of my scripts started working again suddenly.

For the most part, the patch is a dud, though.

At least, for me that is.

And the overall sound of it felt a lot like Ven is ready to give up on “Putting out an endless series of fires”, as it were.

I’m asking if the one I have already downloaded can be considered dead, and I am extremely leery of downloading something that hasn’t been tested.

Perhaps a better question is “Is Better Kongregate going to be abandoned?”

I’m only getting the Chat Line Highlighting and other scripts Not Working. :(

Due to recent Kong Updates, if you have Kongregate Chat Line Highlighting as either a standalone add-on or as part of the Better Kongregate pack, You may be unable to see the Chat. If you wish to view chat in the meantime, disable that script and you should be able to see clearly.

For those of you who have Better Kongregate, Go into your add-ons menu and select BetterKong’s “Options”. Disable the Chat Line Highlighting script, then refresh your current page.

Now, I do not have Ventero’s contact information, but could someone get in touch with him and get him to update the script?

EDIT: Apparently, there are more than a few Scripts Broken by this update
Can anybody get in contact with any of their authors and get them to fix them?

All you need to do is disable the offensive script, the Chat Highlighting one.

I’m ambivalent to MMOs on Kong, really. Although I doubt we can say that they are really ‘Ruining’ Kongregate when much worse happens on the forums all the time.

Oh yeah, that script eventually stopped highlighting, even before this clusterf[yay] that happened today.

Actually, for a long time, that Script did nothing for me….. Now, it actively breaks Kong. :/
