A few more minor changes to the game page. Nothing too dramatic hopefully. First in the recommended games pod, we updated the look of the spotlight game. Second, there was an issue where the forum section was not loading for some games with forums and we went ahead and fixed that issue.

• Swap below the fold gamepage columns such that comments are on the left and everything else is on the right

• Do not show red tag text on pages with dark backgrounds

We have swap the below the game columns on our game pages. Now recommended games and comments will be on the left hand side and badges, updates, instructions will be on the right. This was the way it was before we switched over to the new game page design so we decide to change it back to that format.

Along with that, we made some other changes on our homepage. First the game type (i.e. unity, downloadable, etc.) icons are closer to the game tile on the homepage. Second, we fixed an issue with the mini-feed comment box close button that wasn’t working properly

123aaa789 – I couldn’t reproduce the second hover issue you are seeing. Can you tell me what browser, and OS you are using? It would also be good to know, where you’re trying to hover from (i.e. gamepage, homepage, game browser, etc.)

I’m not sure if it’s still just me, but hovering over any game tagged as a tutorial will never show the rating I’ve given (always just has the “rating for me” thing, when I go to the game it shows my rating on the page though), and occasionally some games tagged as other things (usually multiplayer is one of the others). It happens in both Firefox and Chrome (only browsers I checked).

Can you post a screenshot? Also is it for all hovers, hovers on homepage, hovers on game pages, hovers on game browser pages?

Kred Revenue is for games that have transactions. Has your Ad Revenue been updated? That’s the one you want to look at if your now selling anything in your games that requires kreds.

We’re trying another round of speeding up game loads on game pages. To help speed things up, we’re deferring the loading of some game page elements until a little later. Another thing we’ve done is changed the look of the tags on the game page. Nothing too big, we added a hover state and changed the add more tags to a button.

1024 by 768 pixels, Firefox 20.0 is the only browser out of that, IE, and Chrome that has this issue, and XP.

DPI is ‘Normal size (96 DPI)’ and turning on ClearType made everything blurry.

Edit: This really isn’t that big of a deal if this is only me, which appears to be.

I spoke with our front end engineer and he was wondering if you have tried clearing your cache. He noticed the font from your screenshot doesn’t match any of fonts we are currently using.

For users, we’ve fixed the alignment issues with avatars and shout replies on the messages pages. We’ve also update some places on the game page too. First off, the below the game favorites icon will launch the signup lightbox for guests, we’ve also fixed an issue with user hover profiles in game comment pages.

For devs, there was an issue where opening comments in the game title would break game page functionality so we fixed that.

What Btrenary posted was a different bug we had earlier. The reason that it says you have 34 favorits even though you only have 24 displayed is that you have probably favorited games that are no longer published. Our devs know about this and are working on a fix.

Topic: Technical Support / site not working fully on Chrome, Firefox

Sounds like there a re a few issues here. For your first issue of not being able to load the game in chrome or firefox, have you tried loading the browser in incognito or private mode? See if that works. If it does then it may be a cookie issue. Also are you running anything else on those browsers like add-ons or scripts?

For your other issue about not being able to scroll the recommended games on the front page, can you see if your browser has javascript enabled? If it doesn’t I can see why those pods wouldn’t work.
