Star Wars VS Halo with would win?
They both win in their respective fields: modern and classic, game and movie(but of course every great movie has a corresponding game, and some great games have movies, too), etc.
From my perspective, Halo is more realistic than Star Wars, but just because it’s based more upon reality doesn’t mean it’s better. Star Wars was the classic sort of sci-fi, with blasters and the usual aliens, while Halo is more military-oriented, and still carries many traditions of today.
Guys, we’re not talking about an all-out war between the Jedi and the UNSC, we’re talking about which is the better one. Still, it’s all opinion-based.

If you were to come into this conversation with no previous knowledge of either series, and base your opinion purely on the arguments given here, Star Wars would win outright. The people rooting for Halo have really just repeatedly said “this weapon owns” or “this character owns” without giving any proof, and don’t really seem to know much about the series they’re arguing against. Kudos to the Star Wars fans that actually gave real arguments.
The reason for this is that movies(or TV shows, I’m no Star Wars fan) are more to be observed, while games are meant to be played. You aren’t supposed to research about the MA5C such as the manufacturer, caliber, etc. You(well, usually) just play. As for the other one, you’d try to find out every other fact just in case you missed them, and you always get some interesting trivia on the way.
Since films are linear, you could only know that a lightsaber could cut through anything by seeing it. The same goes for games, but problem is, games could have a rather ambiguous(gameplay, not plot) flow. For example, we wouldn’t know a Spartan was using a Galilean’s scope, since it wirelessly transmits what it receives to the user’s Heads-up Display. Or a better example, the Energy Sword’s lunge is stronger than it’s normal melee.
Ironically, you’d know a lot of science when you do years of research about Halo. Dunno with the other.
Except for some(alright, a few. Alright alright, several) inaccuracies, so don’t play Halo all day to pass your physics exam, kids!
And to end this ridiculously long post which is made ridiculously long by line breaks, I say this: Energy Sword=Lightsaber

Health regeneration
Well, I was wondering if there was anyway to make your health value(which is about 100 for me) regenerate slowly.

Projectile
No, I’m asking how to conceal it so that it’s more noticeable that the projectile comes from the VTOL, not just from some random support behind it.

I didn’t seem to notice that quote. Problem is, it won’t be easily distinguishable from other projectiles without the trail. It’s what makes it a slug traveling at hypervelocity.

Even though the ship would be “above” it when speaking of several layers, the trail would still be seen behind it when speaking of one layer. Like in the image.

Problems is, though, it’s more than 3/4 the length of the stage.

Well yeah… problem is I’m clueless about depth. And I assume that the trail would still appear behind(as in the rear, not under) the ship, which I don’t want to happen.

Does a Movie Clip count as an image? That solid line and the trail are both included in one Movie Clip.

Well, it’s just like an ordinary projectile(in the Shootorials at least). The registration is somewhere in the middle of the solid line to the rightmost of the image, right at the end(or beginning) of the trail.

But problem is, the Shootorial several .as files instead of applying the script to the stuff in the fla file itself… so I don’t know where to put it in. And what to do with the if statement.
I’ve only been working with Flash for a few days, so I’m not the best guy around.

I was making a coil gun/gauss cannon of some sort, and I’ve made a long trail for it(like in Halo 3… you can see I’m a fan). Problem is, when I shoot, the contrail goes right through my ship. I’d want it to be hidden, but I don’t know the code, or perhaps even how to do it without code.
2nd Ed:
Oh, and how do you limit the rate of fire to about 1 round per 3 seconds, and for another projectile about 12 rounds/sec for a .50 MG.

A way out of the crisis
No one can make the prices for things drop without altering the real value of money. If the nominal value dropped, there would be deflation, and there would be no difference.
That’s my point.
I sometimes ask myself if the world will come to an end because we didn’t have enough money to pay for certain things. If we are at a crisis point, will we need the right amount of money to be able to return the world to normal?
It wouldn’t be the end if we don’t make it the end. And no, money isn’t required to bring back what was lost, but can’t you see that it’s the world’s primary resource?
And, uh, telling people on Kongregate to be happy instead doesn’t really solve the problem.
That was to make it seem longer.

The meaning of life
To live. The meaning in living is to find out the meaning of life. To serve what serves you. To live and ask why you do so. To ponder around in the corner and think. Think. Think. Alright, just read the rest of my post before zoning out. To answer what is not answered; to ask what has not been asked. But the point is, that death is a part of life. There is death in life, but no life in death. Accept death. But don’t kill yourself! That’s premature. So just live on your ordinary life(inserts smiley)

A way out of the crisis
We’re in a global financial crisis. Even America, the most powerful nation, is now on the virge of bankrupt. Economy. Down. Going down. And it all comes to the point where we die out of poverty. This is what we would get for our lives, for the sins we’ve done.
But I still believe there is a way out of the crisis(and about time I posted it too). So if we lower the prices of items, to, say, that of the early 2000’s, our money at hand could buy a lot more things. But the problem is, we think that raising the price to compensate for the difficulty of finding/making the items we sell. So the price goes up in the stock market. But, if we lower those prices, we could also lower the prices of items around us, since the item prices depends mostly on the stock market. Sure, it will be difficult to do this, but if it works, we’re fine. But not until Earth’s resources are out. That’s what bothers me. “Would we have to live in another planet?” asks one man. “But I want to stay here!” says the other. But if you look closely, there is always another way of doing things. Even if it would drain our resources much more quickly, if we have enough of it, we’re fine. Even if we’d have to wait for thousands of years for the wasted resources to come back, we can still say we’ve tried.
So all we need is everyone(I can’t stress this enough), yes everyone(stressed higher), working together. That’s what we need.
Note:
We lived good lives. Some of us didn’t. But we’ve all had the most wonderful event in our lives. And during then, most of us smiled. We were happy. That proves that we can still be happy even with the events around us. Time passing by. Our greatest memories will still stay. Remember: what is in the mind is forgotten; what is in the heart is not. Whether it’s comfort or a scratch in your heart, it will always stay there. Remember: you could always live a new life. Even if all your loved ones are dead, you still have friends to help remove that slashing, ripping blade that gives you sadness. And admit it, that even if some of you didn’t have good friends, you can say you had them for a while.
And that goes down to the summary.
If the prices go down, I could finally be able to buy another card of RAM, another video card, and another HD! Cool, eh?

A helpful hint for those guys who help people download stuff
Hey, you know those guys who post tutorials on how to get stuff wherein you have to do a procedure to get it? Ol’ PX’ll tell ya. If you add a readme file, most commonly a .txt file, DO NOT name it readme. Instead, name it DO NOT READ ME. And, when posting that sorta stuff, you might as well not type in that DO NOT stuff.
Disclaimer: I, in any way, do not support obtainment of software illegally(unless bribed for a billion dollars). It is up to you to suffer the consequences(if any).
