Removal of Events?!
Rhieks put it rather nicely, just one thing.. the game hasn’t been around for years, it’s still rather new and a dozen of months on an MMO is not much, while you guys make it sound like you devoted your lives to it.
Btw, you wanted better drop rates from entrustment and this is just the answer to your wish.
Still think that if the events become more challenging and there will be fewer winners, they shouldn’t be removed. In the long run, it’s the housekeeper, roulette and the new battles which will make much more damage to the game, through a sort of inflation.

Answering Crookus:
So it pains you that someone can be very lucky and get a good drop from a box? In the same way the housekeeper is unfair, because I spent hours on here to use my bugles on legions and now someone can use them while they’re away or during their sleep hours. Now THAT is an unfair advantage, which also promotes less activity, because you can do everything while offline, as long as you log in for 10 minutes a day. And every other innovation can be twisted that way, because they didn’t exist for the majority of the (13months is still very short time for a mmo). The new wars give too much silver and they’re an easy way of burning bugles, the wheel gives people hundreds or thousands of gold. You can pride yourself in the fact that you got there without those, but changes are necessary to keep thing interesting for old players and encourage new ones to stay.
Going back to the events:
Firstly, I suggest making the events more challenging. Personally, the exploit event could be a lot more challenging if other leagues were more bothered to participate, otherwise your loss.
Secondly, not that many participate in the events (like gladiator games), but I think the number of winners could be limited to encourage competition.
Thirdly, just because someone who hasn’t been playing for a very long time wins a particularly good item, doesn’t mean that they have a dramatic advantage. They will still be behind in silver, exp, training and overall strength. I find it no different than if someone was really lucky with drops or entrustments.
Overall, I think the events just need some adjusting.
Last point, some people took their time to participate in the events and win those boxes, they won a part of an item and were told that they will only be able to collect other parts from boxes they win in the future. In the end they wasted their time, because they will never get any more parts.

Removal of Events?!
I’m not sure what happened that lead to this decision, but I can hardly understand it. Was this majorly a problem in K3 or K4? I haven’t really seen people complain about it, if they didn’t feel like participating, they just didn’t.
Why complain about gains from boxes? Of course we can be upset if it’s a part of something useless for us, but we have to be reasonable and can’t expect Sleipnirs from every box. They already removed purples from these boxes, so the changes aren’t thay bad.
Are people jealous that others have more time to spend on here and can win some events? Well, I think the housekeeper makes that disadvantage less significant.
The events and new wars on K4 made the game so much more interesting again, people communicate much more, they are active. Why remove something that is appreciated by many?
If it’s a problem to run the events, maybe make them less frequent, but let us have something to look forward to. Otherwise the game will be monotonous and you will only have complaints about that and about lack of updates/useless updates.
It’s impossible to please everyone and I think that it should be something to consider. In the end most people don’t appreciate all the work done by Kailis to run all the extra games, but I think those who do appreciate it should be heard.
Finally, what were the arguments against these events? I can’t think of a single one.
