Topic: General Gaming / Can't connect to any servers

Any multiplayer game i own on the PC (EVE, GuildWars, Combat Arms, ect..) Either doesn’t connect period (Guildwars won’t connect to Arenanet) or a message comes up saying i’m not connected to the internet, which I am. Any clues as to what i need to do to fix this problem?

I’m pretty sure i didn’t know exactly what i was talking about yes, and i’m a stubborn blockhead when it comes to arguing with him, because we.. well.. argue. a lot. It’s entertaining. But i’m looking for opinions on the subject, not obvious statements. I stated that we’re talking about the same thing a few times, but he didn’t quite understand that and then tried to point the exact same thing out back to me.

And the perfectly flat dick part was that he told me he he’d realized randomly an equation to make a right triangle out of any number, so he told me to give him a number.

I picked 2.

He said suck my dick, because the equation couldn’t be done without making a triangle without one side. So yeah. The conversation got a little complicated after that.

It’s difficult to explain, since most of what i said was in the heat of the moment and the argument is over, since he’s logged off of MSN. And i take shortcuts. So if you’re willing to read it, here’s the conversation logs:

You CAN draw in 2D. that makes it a 2D drawing in 3D. You can’t suck the 2D, but you can suck the drawing.

I’m saying that you can draw a 2D object. That doesn’t make it a 2D object. Which is just what you’re saying, only much much simpler. But you KEEP ON TRYING to prove me wrong, but by doing so you’re just saying what i’m saying is right.

there’s even college courses on 2D drawings.

…. That’s because it IS man made? Who ever said otherwise? People say that it’s the word of god yes, but they don’t mention directly how it is also interpreted through multiple people throughout history. Examples: Peter, Mark, Luke, ect.. As a psychologist, i can only give you examples i’ve had. And since a psychologist is also considered a doctor, i also have confidentiality rights. So i’ll try to explain in the easiest way possible.

Over the years, i’ve had 26 patients. i’ve prescribed 9 of them medication. 5 of those 9 reported they were feeling better afterwords. The other 17 patients have been mentally ill, and 4 of them were a threat to themselves and society (I specialize in mental illnesses, so i don’t see many people on a couch).

The fact is though, different people are affected differently by differ ant medication.
Most of the time the patient also must accept that they are depressed/antisocial/introvert/ect and want to be helped, or else the medication almost never helps them. It’s like a suicide bomber. You can’t help them not to blow up if they don’t let you.

I look outside the window. I see someone take down a turret, and others running around to avoid them. I re-look over the plans. ‘After 2 minutes a tower adapts to it’s target. The turrets will contemplate the biggest threat and take it out first.’ I try to leave the building, only to be pushed back by the force-field. There’s no way i can get outside to assist the others. The towers are coming up everywhere in the distance.

’What’s going on over there…. oh. Great.’ As i’m scanning everything to figure out what exactly is happening i see the tower that was destroyed. It’s… as far is a can tell it’s re-constructing itself? “Well. Just flipping’ great. Either they’re all gonna die, or they need to run.” I mumble. I look over to Martin. “I’m guessing you don’t happen to have a megaphone of sorts in that bag of yours.”

After shuffling around with the papers i finally find a document reading Defense Plan. I open it up and search it, finding the codes towards the back. ‘YES!’ I shout in my head. I rush over to the console. Lucky for me everything was in English, or else I’d be screwed trying to figure everything out. “Get away from the door!” I shout over to Martin. I type in the codes for the defense plan. When i skimmed the document it said a field would first be erected around the building to secure the console.

Then some sort of turret that has remained inactive under the ground will activate.

Then more turrets.

I looked over the plans again.

The entire planet had turrets around it. Targeting ALL life that was detected to not be from the planet.

‘Shit.’ I just hope the others find some where safe to go before the turrets start targeting them. And that they don’t destroy the turrets that will protect this planet for the time being. ‘We need to figure out where these fire things are coming from.. and put a stop to it.’
