There are free games, and there are paying games. No opinions needed to sort that out.
Crossing the line toward paying only requires any gameplay paid content.
Devs need to learn how to limit their monetary expectations to aesthetics and lessen pay2win impact.
Browser isn’t and never was a pay-to-play platform, no matter how more accessible it is than downloadables.

I’m playing Path of Exile, which is an ideal free-to-fully-play online RPG and the true “Diablo” successor.
That (New Zealand) team really knows how to treat their customers like people.

Still hackers, just experienced.
Also people have been crashing each other, possibly with speedhacks.
I lost cash because of that.

I’m not going to use a username that isn’t mine,
and this game deserves a 1/5 until I can use my kong name.

Make that a 0/5 since it doesn’t let many kong users with updated Java even play.

Ah here’s the thread.
I’ve sent an email with some followups already.

Summary:
When a user removes a game from their Favorites,
That user gets locked out of their Favorites page.
The action they intended to perform (removal of a game) is not processed either.
Other users, and the original user while logged out, can still load the page.

I’ve tested this myself and with a friend, both used Firefox 12.0.
I can load my page at the moment, and the game I clicked to remove is now properly gone.

EDIT:
I just removed another game, and was given the error again.
Upon loading my profile page, the “game removed” message with blue background was displayed properly.
Cannot load my Favorites page again, locked out.

Nope, not currently possible, very sadly at that.
The whole point is to carry over your Kong account’s data.
You can link Kong to Web, but that gives priority to the Web account, erasing your Kong progress.
Same with Steam, it erases your Steam account’s progress by overwriting using the Web one.
There’s nothing offered that gives priority to Steam or Kong data. :(

This thread is a big circlejerk of kids trying to look “legit”.
Please be more understanding of the public and yourselves.
Trying to impose that something is “not fun” is morally worse than even the concept of “cheating”, plus ignorant.
Plenty of people enjoy milking the fun out of games, especially the games that are otherwise found unappealing.
I just looked at several cheating forums, and the users seem to be having a lot of fun.
I say include a sandbox mode in the next game, with an achievement allowing it’s use.
That will satiate at least some urges.

It’s largely due to public cheating threads that the game’s weaknesses have been uncovered and fixed though, so if the developer doesn’t know how to prevent cheating then they can benefit a lot by looking at what the cheaters are doing.

Urbz’s anti-cheat methods in M&B2 are awesome compared to when it started,
I expect to see a completely unhackable M&B3.

P.S. If you license a game and another site steals/modifies it, is legal action plausible? Haven’t heard much about it…
My first game was stolen a few times and crudely edited, I contacted the site owners and got some instances removed.
