Don’t think you understand the defintion of hypothetical. Hypothetically, ANYTHING can be done.

Topic: Serious Discussion / What language would be most useful to learn as a second language?

People saying Chinese/Mandarine must understand that it is not a very topical language in the western world unless you are in connections or business with China. In a few decades I am sure the Chinese/Mandarine language will be alot more relevant than it is now, but as it is now… it’s not very useful for the every day layman of the west unless you actually have an interest in the language itself. I’d say German, Spanish is alot more useful, and maybe even Arabic because of the high immigration from Middle East and North Africa.

There is however a major difference between the age of an individual and the age of the collective. Just because a french woman has been documented as the oldest living doesn’t also mean that french women are. It requires a certain form of intellect to understand this principle.
