Call of Duty : Black Ops (CoD 7)

Ok, fine.
“The seventh game in the Call of Duty series.”
Also, I’d like to get Black Ops since I only ever played CoD 1. I hear they fixed a lot of stuff from MW2, which is nice.

Planning to play an oldschool game...
Haha I sucked at UN Squadron, so bad.
Oh yeah, I nearly forgot to mention all three Parodius. Want to play Gradius while getting murdered by octopi? NOW YOU CAN.
Adding to the stuff I said:
Racing games! Aside from Super Mario Kart and F-Zero, you can find neat stuff like Biker mice from mars, Rock&Roll Racing and Uniracers.
On sports, you have Super Punch Out, Super Tennis, and International Superstar Soccer.
Want a sidescroller? Try Aladdin, Contra, Double Dragon and Sparkster. The Firemen is a nice top-down game in the same spirit, too.
And I think I’ve covered most of the stuff I know about. Have fun gaming!

Cheetahmen II.
Okay, no.
If you like tactical stuff, I may recommend you any of the ever popular Fire Emblem, or you could try out Front Mission or Tactics Ogre.
If you’re looking for an rpg, i have tons: Rudora no Hihou, The 7th saga, Live a Live, Lufia II or Robotrek might be a good bet. Also, Earthbound, Shadowrun, Secret of Evermore, Seiken Densetsu 3, Star Ocean, Terranigma, Treasure Hunter G, Breath of Fire, Brain Lord, Dragon Quest, Illusion of Time…
For anything actiony, well you’ve got choices, but I’d recommend Megaman X (1/2), Starwing, Bomberman, Flashback and Another World, EVO: Search for Eden, Axelay…
And then you have (action) puzzles, like Wario’s Woods, Super Puyo Puyo, Super Bubble-Bobble…
If nothing here strikes your fancy, try searching for ROM packs, they often have good picks.

I declare that Luck based games are the worst thing on existence.
So what you are saying is luck only exists in theoritical, 50%/50% coin flips not achievable in our own universe? Determinism sucks.

Woop zoop, all probabilities aren’t equal. (example: 25% for player 1 to win/75% for player 2 to win) Therefore, luck isn’t equal for everyone. Way to go!

Naw, I’m just waiting for you to explain why luck is equal for everyone so I can counter it, but I see you’re even lazier than me. LET THERE BE STATUS QUO.

VVVVVV, by the creator of Don't Look Back, is out! Demo on Kongregate!
Actually the gameplay is inspired of an old game called Metal Storm, through that game was more of a shoot’em up than anything, and I think that was just a case of great minds think alike (I think you can find a video of that somewhere on Youtube.). V-guy can only shift gravity when he’s touching a floor or hits one of those beams, and as seen as the video, Green dudes can’t flip. I hear there’s a quite a bit of story in there but I haven’t got my hands on the beta, sadly.
I’m pretty excited about the game, because it looks really like a fun platformer, like those back in the Famicom/Super NES days. I also really like the retro music.

3 questions on Protector I
Oh woops, it’s been a while since I did play Protector. :o
If I understand it right, the damage Consecration deals is Physical BUT is treated as your target’s weakness (if you will, it just adds Physical weakness to them). If however your target absorbs physical damage, then well, Consecration does crap. =P

1. He’s absorbing fire, but since he’s weak to it, he absorbs it twice. It’s like super absorbing damage.
2. I think so.
3.I… think so?

I clearly see no “hacking” there. Where is all the programming and the tracing and finding security flaws to sneak in?

Level Up! In one day. It CAN be done.
Yeah, but as I said, lava doubles as quick jump training, and if you’ve got the regen from the roundite village, you don’t even have to stop taking damage before healing (or at least, not much).

Level Up! In one day. It CAN be done.
I recommend training fortitude and jump at the same time in the magma caves (also getting the hardy skill and the regen skill too, costs like only 100 gems for a benefit of training more) if you speedrun: air-recovery gives a lot of xp and lava doesn’t really hurt (and when you reach level 5 fortitude it won’t even do any damage, so you can train running in lava pools too!).
However, getting to the magma caves either suggests taking the left path thorugh the roundite village, which means you’ll have to get level 4 jump beforehand, or going through the mines, which are kinda dangerous and on the other side of the map compared to the roundite village if you want to get hardy and regen.

Game getting downrated because of its unique control scheme
Originally posted by Darkruler2005:

Yeah, there isn’t really a set of rules to follow, but that’s basically like saying you’re not forced to sustain your vital functions in real life.
Also, that was the entire point! The game is getting downrated because of it’s unique control scheme. Unique, but poorly-executed.
