A Final and Permanent Thread for LD
LD isn’t a minigame. What’s with the giant string of posts w/o any content? Also, being a GM doesn’t make you good at this game, I can spend…whatever it is since the GH update, and get a “Title”. Rep speaks for itself, don’t show up and expect people to respect your advice. What I’m seeing here is essentially you guys preaching a specific method of LD’ing that has been found to be OP. I’d discourage you from directing newbs toward this one method, it cuts down on diversity.

looking for able 4* and 5* players! PEOPLE ONLY ASKING TO JOIN EVERYONE ELSE SHUT UP
Uh, this is a recruitment thread for “the kings army”… you guys from reality echo should probably delete your posts. Recruiting on someone else’s recruitment thread is kinda messed up.

guild look for a 4* officer
I wasn’t talking to you Ernest. I think I was talking to pato and landshark, but atm I’m not really sure what I meant or who I was talking to, looking back over the posts. I think landshark changed his/her post… but not sure.

guild look for a 4* officer
In a good guild, officer-ship isn’t supposed to be about skill. The fact that you promote anyone to officer if they have decent gear makes me really, really not want to join. Not that I’m looking for a guild, anyway.

day and night
I agree that they should do something about the sleep status. Adding in features to night/day, in my eyes, just adds unnecessary complexity, and creates annoyances for people who aren’t available at certain times of day. While creating a worldwide clock fixes compatibility issues, it takes the cool factor of seeing daytime change with your actual daytime away (or at least I think it does anyway).

Why add features? If it’s a purely cosmetic thing, people in different timezones can have zero confusions. If you give it features, things get annoying because of the timezone thing.

You should have propositions for mechanics if you’re proposing items. Otherwise we have no idea what you mean.

Weather, day and night, etc. would be perfectly acceptable features. Once OOO gets done with fixing the many issues with their game that still exist.

People who are experienced with and fully understand SK do not want pets. They make the game easier and create more pay to win.

energy
Vice is correct, any good MMORPG will not have a definable finish. And you’d have to be completely no-lifing the game to death to finish in five days. Most people who buy elevator passes soon after starting get through FSC is a month or so. Energy is OOO’s business model, and it’s not changing.

heat grinding (it annoys us all)
I did my first vana run with a 4* fire brandish, dark thorn shield and a dusker set. I was with my friends who were in the same league. We made it through 26 okay, but the last fight in 27 got us. Once we were experienced with it, 27 was pretty easy. Vana himself was unrealistic due to the amount of time he took to take down, and our crappy dodging of ceiling debris. But yeah, you can make it through a few levels of FSC in under-geared stuff, but you need at least a 4* weapon to make it time-effective.

Invalid topic lol
Toothpicks actually attack too fast to hit anyone with the second poke, unless they are timing their pokes (which only happens if you’re recharging boost, otherwise you’d just shield cancel). What’s more common is a gunner with a driver or valiance hits JUST before the first swing, and it cancels both the toothpick’s knockback and it’s damage, usually leaving the player who just attacked vulnerable because the other player is still in range.

This is not bragging, and no he’s not talking about you vice. Damage isn’t much of a meaningful stat, all it really measures is how fast you can rip through far inferior players. Guns are usually not damaging to your teammates unless you use them poorly (firing in sync with allied attacks). However, they also result in performance drops for most players, so try not to add too much trollaris into the mix.

Well yeah, just because they’re in the guild doesn’t mean that they do vana runs with the rest of them. Good luck with the new guild n’ stuff.

@Donseptico
Perhaps you should have posted somewhere meaningful. Donseptico is a forum mod, not a SK mod. It was kinda your fault for giving someone 4kCE, but they might be nice to you. Use the handy dandy “complain” feature, there’s a shouting gremlin you can look at while you wait.

You flag a game because it doesn’t work? …are you sure you know what flagging is?

Duh, azure is pointless. Almost anything that doesn’t give damage bonuses is. Piercing is good for slimes spikes and beasts. You’ll want it at some point or another. You can run FSC without a shield or protection. You really shouldn’t be using a shield when you aren’t blocking a particular hit, lagging like crazy, or idling.

I think that the download from kong and the one from the main site DL into the same folder so you could try it there and be able to run it here. I’m clearing my cache, I’ma see if that fixes anything.
Edit: stonewalling on 97% :/

get rid of the energy
Energy isn’t really to limit gameplay time entirely. The most commonly held belief concerning energy is that it’s an economic tool (very true in this game), but it often multitasks to distract people from the monotony of what they are doing; worse games can be more fun if broken up. And t1 is a pretty terrible game, just sayin’.

Everyone against java unite here.
They’re not taking it out of java, deal with it. If you can’t play it properly, you shouldn’t be rating it at all. You’re supposed to be rating the GAME, not your own computer. Java has issues and is hard to get working, but you should really not be doing stuff like that. It doesn’t cause freezes if you get it running properly, and this is already an intensive game, if you’ve got anything less than a dual core and 4 megs you probably shouldn’t be blaming the game for your own comp. I really wish there was some method for this site to disqualify votes of people like you who vote 1/5 without any actual logic behind it.

Vanduke
Syedumer… please… he’s not saying to use a FoV in a standard annoying person with a levi way (which might actually work seeing as hearts and pills drop like rain), he’s saying to use it at critical points where the FoV’s massive damage in a half second will destroy some very annoying monsters. It’s normal attacks are pretty much pointless, don’t really know why you’re suggesting them. The FoV will do 2260 damage w/o any bonuses (on a stationary target) plus fire, so it’s actually incredibly useful…. though I haven’t actually used one, ever. And on the anti-shiv thing that vice said.. it’s pretty unlikely that he’ll make a full turn if the blitzing players are properly synced, but it’s still possible. Fire balls that block bullets tend to give pauses in his turning seeing as the shiver will stop his rotation. Also, it’s once again possible to freeze both vanaduke and a slag guard in one go, making stuff even easier.

And pict, It’s A Little Bit Annoying To Talk Like This.
I often kill vanaduke without getting hit. Hence, he is easy. This is because of the shivermist buster, which makes him immobile. You don’t need a lot of experience to exploit this, I was killing vanaduke with ease about 10 runs after my first success. And in a decent party you can kill him without a shiver and without getting hit, largely because he’s so incredibly predictable.

Important topic!
I’m gonna try and translate that…
Hi, players and.. administrators? (I guess he means mods or devs)
I like this game.
Bugs made… dueling blades? players leave. Seems it’s asking not to change it.. or something like that.
I’d like this to become a suggestions log, no stupid stuff though.
… I’m guessing that this is asking not to make us pay IRL cash for stuff.
Okay, so yeah, the devs don’t look at these forums. This has been out for about two years and it’s already mildly successful. There is, in fact, some DLC (okay, not REALLY DLC) that you have to pay for. Also, that dueling blades thing… no clue what you’re talking about.
When you post like this, it’s best if you offer both a version in your native language and one in english, so that someone can translate the other language into english, because this is largely incomprehensible.
