Topic: General Gaming / what are the best idle games?

In fact, Idle Mine is seen far more then literally any other game. Idle games find it hard to appear in the most played section, because that’s based on logins and you don’t tend to go off that often, but if it was based on time played or people on at any one time then Idle Mine would probably find itself within some of the very most popular mmos.

If you check the chat, about 10% of everyone at the LEAST are playing Idle mine. The only thing that comes close to that is Just Trolling (Not sure if thats an idle game).

Wow, this thread is old. And yet somehow has relevant conversation.

The two best idle games on the site and quite possibly in general are Anti-Idle: The Game and Idleplex .

Idleplex is seen occasionally, but Anti-Idle is unfortunately only rarely seen, and has a veeery slow comments compared to many others. This is not to say they are slow- compared to most they zip past. My personal favorite is Anti-Idle, but I’m rather fond of Idle Mine too… I actually have both those running while typing this.

How do you save/load a TukkunFCG deck? I have the deck code from my old deck, and I clicked the load button and pasted it all right in there, but it says “invalid deck. Please do (not) try again”. This has happened with literally all of my decks so far plus some which I copied about 5 seconds ago. How do you actually load one?

How do you get randomfruit? I’ve harvested both yellow and gray trees multiple times (21 plots so far) and yet have never got any. If they’re a rare drop from harvests, they must be the hardest pet food to get.

To increase battle complexity and make it more difficult and/or more varied, you could make it so that creatures found in game are customisable. Attack and defence are pretty basic, but maybe movement speed, sight range and even behavioral traits (maybe make it so a creature might attack once you talk to a certain person, or will only attack if you walk past?). This would allow for far more complex maps, and would greatly increase the variety. Monsters can still gain a stat boost from your level, of course. Colours would be quite interesting too, allowing for a bit more variety in your everyday monsters.

It would also be nice to have teleporters (preferably invisible). This would allow many new maps to come, especially rapidfire maps or story maps, where you can make the peoples sayings “change” (in the latter). Falling blocks would be nice too, along with pistons which could be activated by switches and/or buttons. Buttons should have to be held, switches would stay.

Comments would also be extemely useful, allowing world developers to see why people voted a map what they did, and to improve on it.

The garden could be done with other trees (although that might make it a bit hard for the mini garden to work, although I can’t see how you’d make it anyway). See, we have all birch, oak, jungle, spruce and recently, acacia and dark oak too! You could get an extremely fast axe and chop down the tree, then toss the resultant wood into a hopper which provides you with money (I’ve never been sure how this works, but my brother and Antvenom both made one so yeah. You make it with comparators, hoppers, droppers and a big hole to put all the redstone XD. Change the biome there to desert to remove saplings from spawning, and make the only saplings come from a dispenser which has the gamerule which makes them infinite on. Also, you could use the testfor commands and stuff to check how much of each coin you have and see if you have enough to make purchases, and also to simply log how much you have. Could be laggy though.

There is no reason why Kingk should listen to us anyway. Its not like hes gonna win a nobel prize for making games. You can get free gems (albeit slowly) and you dont actually need them anyway. Be grateful he took the time to make the game at all.

Getting to level 20 safely also requires a strategy and a certain amount of skill…
Dodging strategies:
1. Dodging practice: Find a nice, private spot on the beach by some cubes and don’t kill them. Rather stay within their range, but dont get hit. Over time, they will split, thus increasing the “difficulty” of the test. Remember that in the Godlands, each time those cubes hit could deal 100 or so damage. Its a nice, safe practice once you’re a high enough level for beach cubes to be insignificant.
2. Circling: This is my personal favorite strategy and can be quite effective against shotgun types. Run in circles around your target, shooting it as you do so. Eventually they will die. To practice doing this, find a few giant crabs and run in circles while staying within range. The enemy should shoot behind you.
3. Rushing: Run at the enemy and then run out of its range. This is better with faster characters such as rouges, rather then paladins or knights.

@hoover fastest way to lvl up, ok, but then think about it… where do you get your items? Eventually you do the midlands anyway for some easy kills to get items, which is basically like doing the normal leveling. Also, if that one shot from the dying ghost god hits you, it will do a lot of dmg to a lvl 5, possibly even killing you if two hits (if they hit once, its likely for you to be hit again) get you. The chance of getting a purple drop is slim, even if you are in the lead of the group at lvl 20 killing most of them, and getting a purple drop you actually want is even more unlikely. Also, for people with laggy computers, they will often find complete and utter lag and die extremely fast. Others in the realm may also experience a bit of this lag, and that collection of people who just want to be able to loot gods in peace will find that impossible with a giant mob running around.

I guess. Still, as I said, many people do die at lvls 5-10 as well, and even if you don’t, a lot of people do. I have tried training, and I find it is a generally laggy and risky way to lvl. I do die quite often when doing it, and no train is complete without the line of graves that trail behind it. If you are good at training, then ok, sure, no problem really.

The problem with attempting to get soulbound drops is they rarely drop them. You’d have to scratch a lot of gods backs to get it, which is time consuming and frustrating, especially when a stray shot you didn’t see over everyone gets you.

If you do wish to train, then it can be a very good method, but on the other hand, it can suck. It just depends.

You’re actually very wrong there.

The very fastest way to lvl up is by your quest. Killing a god at lvl 1 gives you 5 exp, while killing a scorp queen at lvl 1 gives you just about 20. Godlands give you good items, but they aren’t the fastest way to level up. 15 levels plus, sure, glands, it will give you decent exp there and you’re not in too much danger. The problem with glands trains is, aside from that, every single train I have seen has this accompanying it: “___ died at lvl 1 by a Medusa. ____ died at lvl 5 from a Slime God. ___ died at lvl 11 by a Sprite God” and so on. No matter how big, about 1 seventh of the people will die. Also it is annoying for people like me, who aren’t pros, but prefer to solo glands. Why do we want to? You die less. But thats a different subject.

Still, training is a popular way to do it, as not many people actually realize how inefficient it is.. You get to lvl 20, sure, but then you have to get items, and also you could have done it quicker just with quests.

He gobbled them down,
Gave Oryx the frown,
And when he woke up he was dead.

I know you said character STORIES, but surely a limerick wont go amiss?

It does, and so does everyone elses. They rage at you and a person even fines you for it.

For TOppers ignored post: You do, but you die before you can use them or sell them.

I wish I had a white star ranking.

This was more of in Realm, but when I yelled out that I’d give out 8 free def pots for whoever could get 8 of the exact same ring in the shortest amount of time. Ended up giving them to a guy with 8 spd rings. It was really amusing seeing all those yellow dots jumping around. And how few hobbit mages there were after that XD

Topic: Realm of the Mad God / Wizard or Priest?

Best strategies for both classes (in my opinion)

Wizard: Keep at a distance, try to dodge bullets. Run to middle of opponents (still dodging) and use ability.
Priest: Run around in circles shooting. If you’re in Godlands and you begin to “accumulate” medusas, thats awesome. Pick up items but keep an eye on health and press space when needed.

Whichever you like best is the one you should be. Of course, they’re not much different.

Topic: Realm of the Mad God / Easiest/hardest minor gods

Personally, I say its:

Medusa, Sprite God, White Demon, Ent God, Haunted Tree, Flying Brain, Ghost God, Beholder and finally, Levithian (Easiest to Hardest)

Rating for each (out of 10)
Medusa: |
Sprite God: |
White Demon: |
Ent God: ||
Haunted Tree: ||||
Flying Brain: ||||
Ghost God: |||||
Beholder: |||||
Levithian: ||||||||||

Amazingly, Major god (or event if you’d rather) Cyclops God is only a minor |.

You know you’re addicted to ROTMG when you:
1. Drink drinks to try to make yourself stronger
2. See a tree and wait for it to say “YOU WILL DIE
3. Try to buy a robe at a shop with lemonade
4. Write something on this forum.

Lots of people have different opinions about gods, and often post it in the comments, but obviously you cant really debate it there. Minor gods include Medusas, Djinns, Beholders and Ghost gods. Major gods include Pentracts, Lords of the Lost Lands, Ghost ships etc. How hard do you think each MINOR god is?
