For me, the draw to DW has always been the ability to play without any major time constraints. It’s great for playing while multitasking by allowing you to play for 10 minutes, get drawn away, then come back 15 minutes later without it being a big deal. Implementing a turn-based card game will ruin all that.


It will not be nearly as complicated as Time World’s War of Heroes. All the strategy will be in the team selection/placement and the battle will be short and automated. It’s similar the arena tournaments in Dragon Era, but with a bit more strategy/details.


Thx for shedding a little light on what’s to come, sounds not so bad after all.

I’m also excited about new allies and free isendel travel. And bank/gameplay improvements are always warmly welcomed. Any chance of ally switching being more streamliined?

Topic: Dream World / Official Suggestions Thread

With H7-9 around the corner, I’d like to re-submit the suggestion that the drop mechanics be changed so that all 5 top finishers have at least a small chance at extended gear. Instead of 20% for the top finisher, perhaps 8/4/3/2/1% for the top 5, or something along those lines.

As is, the hell expansions promote doing a solo run through all 3 bosses and are detrimental to cooperative guild play.

I’d also like to suggest (or re-suggest in some cases):

- Ally hotkeys, or at the very least, either smaller ally images (so they can all be seen/selected without having to scroll) or the ability to organize the ally list to put most commonly used ones at the top. Seriously, does anyone actually use Eli? because she’s taking up a prime piece of real estate.

-Talisman hotkey so it can be used from the bank. Would eliminate accidental selling and free up inventory space for armors, healstaff, rings, dolls, or dusts. “D” key makes sense since “A” and “S” are the attack hotkeys.

- instead of bank expansion after bank expansion, maybe offer stackable bank and inventory spaces. Would make it a lot easier to use dolls vs 1-hit bosses if you could have a stack of several in your invo instead of having to go back to the bank to get another one every time you get hit.

- Maybe a little late to suggest, and I may be in the minority, but please don’t make the new mini-card game anything remotely like the one in TW

Card confirmation requirement:

Can it be made so that the notice that pops up when a card is found requires clicking/confirmation before going away? When speed grinding, currently the spacebar makes the notice disappear.

As more and more cards are collected, it quickly becomes difficult to know what card was found just by checking current inventory. Also, some people might want to copy text or take screenshots of card finds which is impossible if the popup is inadvertantly closed.

Thx for the clarification, KingK. I’m just a bit OCD so collecting them all might be fun.

Also, is there any thought to having cards with different features, like damage boosting cards or cards that do things similar to ally skills? That might add a level of strategy for players to be able to choose a set that best suits their needs.

Agreeing with Thariel, changing the drops in Hell areas to give a tiered chance at extended for all top 5 finishers would be helpful.

As is, the coin reward is better for 6th+ finishers unless you get extended, so only 1st place has a chance at beating out coins. In the current mechanic, often someone solo kills h1-2 then rages h3 and does 401m dmg to it, leaving little incentive for anyone else to hit, aside from badges. Fame does not incentivize h3 because there is still a substantial e-requirement for most players to hit hell bosses for 10% making fame more efficiently obtained from Mystic Mines. A small chance at extended gear for 2nd-5th place would be appreciated.

If the extended droprate for 1st place is currently 20%, I don’t see the harm in changing it to something like 10/4/3/2/1.

    Topic: Time World / Is purple hero name/race/class not randomly generated?

    Are the names/race/class of heroes not randomly generated? I ask because it seems everyone in game has the same purple heroes.

    For example, when purple heroes are posted in chat, different players post purple heroes with the same name/race/class. To list a few:
    Primivara: Alcon war-com
    Minerva: Alcon war-com
    Lee: Human war-com
    Kirsten: Mu war-com
    Julia: Veeren build-tech

    I’ve also noted green/blue heroes with the same name/race/class reappear time after time in taverns.


    This makes me wonder if there are a finite number of purple (or any color, for that matter) heroes for each race/class available in the game.

    If there is indeed a finite number, what happens if you fire one? Does it get put back in the pool of available heroes, making it possible for them to reappear in a tavern to be hired again? I’ve never paid attention to see if old blue heroes I’ve gotten rid of have reappeared in taverns. Has anyone noticed this?

    For example, if someone has a purple Primivara that they screwed up, if they fire her, is there a chance to find her again and rehire?

    Summoner raid prizes

    After completing a WoH equipment set, the novelty of summoner raids wears off with the remainder of summoner prizes being fairly lame (especially duplicates of the equipment), aside from the fairly rare pink pillar crystals. Crafting crystals seem more rare than they should be from summoner raids and are more easily obtained fighting pirates. Too often, players get duplicate equipment, resources, and a handful of yellow crystals.

    I propose a couple of changes designed keep us excited about summoner raids:

    1. Make Summoner WoH equipment drops way more rare and consider diversifying equipment
    It takes only about a week to complete a set and the gap in going from normal to hard raids is considerable. Potentially, people with quickly completed sets will wait months before they can move up to the next raid difficulty and equipment set. It would also be nice if equipment already obtained stops dropping.

    Another idea is making varying grades of equipment within each set with better stat bonuses being more rare. Ship bonuses to the set could also be diversified: e.g. New Chess King’s crowns with +2, 3, or 4 life with randomly assigned ship bonuses to the set, such as +1, 1.5, or 2% to dodge, attack, or defense, etc.

    2. It would be nice to see a better variety of prizes in summoner boxes, such as:
    - rare gold drops, ranging in value 1-5 pieces. This would be an easy, controlled way to make small amounts of gold available to the masses.
    - coupons ranging from 500-2500
    - hero/VIP/talent/speed cards
    - gem frags
    - very rarely, drop more valuable items like upgrade gems, skill books, backpacks, or rare/epic equips
    - other new creative items such as the the pink pillar crystals, which were a nice addition

    The intent of the change would be to help players from small galaxies to get into teams.

    The incentive for helping players from your own galaxy is just that – helping players from your own galaxy. If you could get the same small bonus by helping players from within your galaxy, then there would be less incentive for helping players from starter galaxies.

    Also, by allowing the incentive to apply to raids within the galaxy, members of the same galaxy could theoretically abuse it by coordinating raids so that every member with prizes left takes a turn leading teams of 3 other players who have claimed their 5 prizes.

    After playing “War of Heroes” update for a few days, I have a few suggestions/fixes:

    1. When getting invited to Summoner raid, make it so that the raid boss and difficulty are stated

    2. When creating a Summoner raid, make it so the number of prizes left for friends is visible on the invite page (currently only seen after they join the team) so we can prioritize inviting friends who still need them.

    3. When a Summoner raid finishes, make it so that players can forego accepting a raid prize if they so choose. This would make it so higher lv. players could help lower lv. players who invite them to easy raids without having to accept an easy prize.

    4. Create simple, non-animated icons to indicate conditions affecting characters (i.e. stun, burn, etc.) during Summoner raid battle so that those of us who toggle effect settings to “none” can still easily see what is going on during battle without having to mouse over every unit to see their card profile/stats.

    5. During Summoner raid battle, move the timer/counter so it is below the players name, just to the left of their avatar, instead of above their name and next to the avatar of the player above them. This is a more intuitive location.

    6. Many of the alcon units have haristyles that obstruct the Att/HP stats of the unit above it on the battlefield. Make it so stats hover on top or change the hairstyles.

    7. Many players of smaller galaxies have a difficult time getting into teams for Summoner raids. Perhaps a small incentive (a few gems, coupons, resources, or small random chance at rare crafting gems or items) to players who have already recieved their 5 daily prizes would make them more willing to accept invitations. To prevent abuse, make it so the incentive only applies if the team leader still has prizes to collect and is from a different galaxy.
