Can you make you'r own Profile Skins on kong+?
If the popularity is there, and the administration and/or site developers aren’t on board, someone might want to consider contacting a user that’s known for making well-done scripts for site add-ons.

Kingdom Hearts themed chat room?
If we’re generating room names, I would go with Destiny Islands. A themed roomed sounds nice though.

Most quietest English chat room (Chat room no one ever talks in)
Originally posted by graveyard890:
Ok here are the top 10 deadest English chat rooms that I have witnessed so far. 1st being least chattiest
1. Redditorium
2. Midgard
3. Great Plains
4. Manic
5. Masters Of Procrastination
6. Mapping The Problematique
7. Entropic Delirium
8. The Rabbit Rave
9. Crabblesteen Winklepop
10. Sumptuous Gentlemens Brigade
So if you guys wanna be regulars of dead chat rooms, those are some dead chat rooms you could go to
I’d like to point out that neither Crabblesteen Winklepop nor Masters of Procrastination actually exist. Crabblesteen Winklepop was changed twice, the first name I can’t recall and the second to Hourglass, both under the room ownership of VforVendetta. Masters of Procrastination is a relatively new, within the last week if I’m not mistaken. The quoted post is rather old, so it makes sense, but just in case people are still looking at these rooms as a reference.
A second point I’d like to inquire upon with what kind of “emergencies” were you claiming? Anyone claiming a life threatening emergency in an online chatroom on a flash game site clearly isn’t credible. You barged into Lantea a couple weeks ago and informed everyone that if chat was always this dead, Administration was going to delete our room (which, to my knowledge, is not true; yes, chats have been consolidated however I don’t believe Lantea is a part of that group of chats up for change). If you’re judging all rooms by this same reaction, it’s a very poor standard.
Edit: I believe Winterfell is almost entirely void of conversation 90% of the time.
Edit to Edit: Didn’t even notice someone had said the same exact thing. Sorry for redundancy.

Sorting Out Users In Chat
The concept itself is useful to customizing your chatting experience, however the realistic possibility of it happening by way of Kongregate Administration appears low.
Have you considered contacting another user that’s capable in writing scripts and presenting them with this idea? It has merit, but it probably just needs to be done independently.
With that, I’d also suggest an option of Most Often in Chat to Least Often in Chat. It would give a great sense of who the regulars are in a specific chat, especially if a user has a complaint, question, or just general need that can be handled by a regular rather than a moderator if one isn’t present OR if the chatroom doesn’t have a room owner.

Super pleased with the result. It makes my gaming experience less likely to be intruded upon by chat or other things going on in the background, not to mention that this is genuinely helpful and has been requested. It’s nice to know our suggestions are being acknowledged and considered.

Has anybody ever had kreds as a birthday/christmas present?
You can’t gift kreds specifically (and unfortunately), but you can gift GameStop gift cards which you can then redeem for Kreds.
Woefully, I have never had this opportunity and continue to suck kreds through every chance that offers them free.

Either the two chat rooms mentioned, or find someone that owns a private chatroom that you can “borrow”. Otherwise, you can always “outsource” and use TinyChat. Gather people from Kongregate who are interested and just use TinyChat to accommodate so you don’t bother other users by role playing in chatrooms that aren’t designated for it.

Any RPG games suggestion?
I would definitely suggest Book of Mages: The Dark Times.
It’s a strategic, turn-based RPG and has a really high replay value.
If you’re interested in more of long-term game that requires more of a time investment, look into The Grinns Tale or Cloudstone
If none of those work out, let me know and I’ll help you find some ones that are better suited to you. :)

Debate is inherent when change happens. Just because we know it’s going to happen doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t acknowledge and validate other users’ concerns about the change. If Kongregate administration was interested in posing a thread solely to debating the changes, they should have opened up a different one or locked this one early on so as to not let it gain traction.
I’m not saying that debate and discussion is bad. If anything, I think it’s a great thing and should be encouraged. But the attempts at trying to sway the administration’s mind (when this has clearly been a decision made for many months) is ill-fated and doomed before they begin.
Unfortunately, that’s the Catch-22 of making announcements. We’re expected to go along with change, but at the same time the Administration wants feedback. When users do provide it (especially in radical forms such as not making the change at all), it’s considered trying to sway their minds, which, as you said, is doomed to begin with. Understandably there are a vast number of users out there that have the capacity of providing constructive feedback, but it’s so far outweighed by those who are staunchly opposed that those who are genuinely interested becomes smothered.
You want to encourage debate and discussion, but the whole purpose of those is rooted in persuasion. At this point it’s just setting the users that want to be heard up for failure before they begin.
EDIT: I would like to be known I AM in favor of taking down the Collabs sections. As stated in a previous post, I believe there’s a lot of potential that opens up for focus in more game-related sectors.

why does everyone, everywhere, always complain about layout changes.
I genuinely have no idea, especially when the layout is moving to a more streamlined and similar fashion to that of the front page and the profile pages. I like it, and frankly the administration wouldn’t be making changes without first investing a lot of time and energy into its success. It’s here to stay.
Edit: Let this thread die?! But we have something special! Taylor Swift is currently writing a song based on our relationships.

Posting in a thread will revive it and give it some placing at the top of the page. It’s only been inactive for an hour and a half. Go for it! Voicing your opinion gives people a gauge on how a user feels, and in turn if others agree and voice their opinions, it gives the administrators a gauge on how the community feels.

Legend of Zelda Chat Room
Absolute Absurdity is being rename? What brought this on? And why “Hourglass”? If it’s intended to be a Legend of Zelda reference (I can only think of Phantom Hourglass), I’m going back to my other idea of getting an Elder Scrolls: Skyrim or Game of Thrones themed room…
Seriously, who wouldn’t want to hang out in Whiterun or Westeros??

Not quite…. The Collabs are being shut down because the section in its entirety is being taken down. You’ll still be able to use the Arts forum though.

Changes to the Collabs section
Honestly, there’s a lot of possibilities that open up when you consider all the work that won’t have to be done to maintain Collabs. By getting rid of it, there’s (hopefully!) going to be a focus area on content that is specifically game related. You know, because games are just kind of what Kongregate’s all about.
Regardless of protest from others, I’m excited for this to happen, and even more excited to see what comes of it.
