Invest all your stat points into energy + stamina. 2/1 each level is fine. More energy helps with missions, more stamina helps with the raids (which you’ll eventually need). Do most into Stamina, but going a few extra into energy at first is OK. I’m lvl 40 and at 64 E / 77 S.
Find high level raids, then hit them for 1 stam. This will get you drops which will improve armor. Try for the 30/30 stuff. Otherwise, hit Voids for 100k (and Telemachus raids) until you get all 6 holo journals for the Odyssey. You need medic & melee troops. Hit the WR now for Kakophages.
Use the money to invest in Facilities – specifically lvl 4 Academy and Shipyard. You can hope for a better ship from Shipyard, or more troops/generals from the academy.
Spend your suns anywhere you want. You can buy 1 Expedition and try for a better ship/general that will work, but don’t bet that it will work out well, lol. It usually doesn’t.
If you follow the above, I have the Odyssey with 3 Kakophages (11/11), 2 CRANK Troopers (1/1), and a Crimson Medic (2/2). It’s a power rating of 73. I pulled a grim reeper seeker from my expedition (175/238), White Noise Pod (10/10), 33/37 Pants, 33/37 Helmet, 30/30 Arms, 26/24 Shoes, 22/17 Rifle, 10/10 Body, 12/8 Offhand.
I hit for about 25-29k every 20 I spend, and I’ve done just under half of the required 8.5m damage.
For the WR, I don’t do any Energy hits on it. Spend all that into your missions because you can get upgrades and new equipment at the next area. I’m almost finished with the last mission in R1. No news as to if it’s been worth it, but I’m guessing I can at least upgrade my 10/10 stuff.
Yes, and last — join an alliance. Your honor can be used to gain more XP, making leveling quicker.
