Good thing I didn’t intentionally end it at 250k as I intended to (only needed that much to finish my quest). Shame I could not milk the second chance thing, no vision at that point was insta-death.

Also, for some reason it never occurred to me that Meteoric ends up being much more spawn rate. That just made US pathetic-looking. Spawn rate is not normally needed where you need stats, so you might as well use meteoric. The only thing US has going for it is the fact that you can reach all of screen at all times. But the stats are tragically under-whelming.

What I hate the most is that you get very locked in with accessories. With all the actual pow tied to accessories and weapon, there’s little use for all the other crap you’ve worked on for so long. The set is not bad, it just doesn’t deserve the name Ultimate when people with less than 10 ascensions can already get gear that kicks it’s butt.

I know. I meant that you wouldn’t have SSF in the way it is now if it was that easy to make it into a normal file. At least I don’t think you would have.

It would be good if you had any idea of what you were talking about before getting an opinion. Do you really think Tukkun is stupid enough to make it THAT easy to make an SSF file into a normal file? Changing the name is not enough, nor is it enough to just “sol edit”. It’s rather complicated, and so not worth doing when there is a far simpler way.

All that aside, you are contradicting yourself. There is absolutely no difference between SSF and sol-editor, so why is it okay to do it in SSF but not in sol editor? It’s the exact same thing, only one requires you to do things never intended by Tukkun (and that IS actually against the rules) and the other is doing something he himself did for players back in the day.

It’s not breaking the ToS. Read it again. And read it properly.

@Sorry: I forgot to link to the chart with rank exp earlier. Here you go: http://pastebin.com/YxMYLS0Z. The variable you should edit is “arenaExp”. If you hadn’t maxed all BA stats, make sure you do this (and open game then go BA) before you edit those, as ranking up gives you stats.

If you try to please everyone, you won’t be able to do anything ever. There are people who think I cheat, because I use certain macros to do things that are hard for me because of my arthritis and that’s fine by me. King, you seem to think you can decide what is and isn’t right on this forum. It’s kind of the same as the lock thing. Back in the day, Tukkun would do save-file restoration to people who lost their files. Are you suggesting that Tukkun aided people in cheating? He stopped doing it because it took up time he wanted to spend on updating the game, but it has ALWAYS been considered acceptable to restore your savefile to the point where it was before you lost it. I’ve done it a number of times for people who lost it to corruption or other reasons. You are welcome to disagree, but you are not the forum, so stop pretending like you are.

@Sorry: If you have any questions about things, you are welcome to PM me and I’ll help out where I can. A tip for editing BA rank. Don’t edit it directly, because it’s complicated with skill points. There are two exp values, one that is total exp up to last achieved level, and one is exp achieved since. When the latter matches the requirement, you rank up. Therefore, you can edit in the total amount of exp to that value, and it’ll rank up on it’s own.

Yes, there are people who consistently score that high in Pong. For example, notfromearth has posted some rather insane pong scores, and Nonpareilpursuit is also great at pong (arcade in general). I don’t remember exactly what each one has as their best score, but definitely over 3m.

Tukkun does not have the power to ban people from forums, and even if he could he’s not allowed to because he’s not an actual forum mod. The only way to be banned from forums is to be banned from Kong, as far as I know, and that’s not going to happen just because someone is post-horny.

I have not updated, so it’s not nerfed for me. Not intentionally trying to avoid anything, I’m just lazy with grabbing latest SWF and changing my shortcut. Plus it’s been 7 days so it is still technically not abusing the offline-playing to avoid an update.

What was the best way to farm C-bonus SI enhancers again? Revive mining? Any specific bonuses to go for to optimize chance of getting them? I would imagine 5000 drop rate and rest spawn rate, but I suppose better make sure =)

Oh, okay =) Would be nice to have it more visible, but I guess the icon is enough once you get used to it. Farming them was not nearly as bad as I expected it to be. Wasn’t exactly fun, but not “shoot me now”-boring either as I could watch a movie meanwhile.

Using Mr 27’s deck for Dragoon, I did not draw a flame mosquito until turn 46, and I still won. If that is not an accomplishment, I don’t know what is.

Separate the filter ally button from the settings of filter. Have one button be apply filter, and one be set filter. That way it is quicker to use when you already have it set up.

To clarify that statement, I am not saying that YOU do a bad job. But fact is that you aren’t active, and you don’t keep up to date, which means it’s up to players to be responsible about what they submit, and as this thread clearly shows, they aren’t. I take helping people seriously, and I take issue with people who are intentionally not helpful or just half-ass it. Either do it right, or shut up, is my philosophy.

I did not in any way mean to hurt you personally, and if that is how it came across then I am sorry. I agree with you that this forum always had a friendly air despite it’s disputes, and I also agree that it is not the same as it used to be. I think it has to do with the direction the game has been going, and how easy things are. A community relies on loyal users, and that isn’t so much the case any more because people get bored/angry about changes and leave. But golden days can’t last forever, it was bound to happen at some point.
