What do you mean by charges?

Deportal: Do you have to sit in it for 4 sec? or just show up at the last moment?

Repair bots: If no ally is in range do they wait up to 10 sec and heal for the remaining time? If an ally is fully healed will it move to another?

Nuke: how far is 150 meters in game? How far apart are the front 3 turrets?

Telemine: What is the spawn time? How far is the attraction?

Granted, but due to the paradox of having to be in front of the plane at the same time as inside it, you’re removed from the space time continuum.

You just didn’t get it, OP is not the same thing as unbalanced.

It used to be the team that had the Ant would win. Now there are more options.

Also, teammates win or lose this game.

Angle (was)

Hell even the Venture got a (tiny) nerf a while back.

Fighting against (Clank,Dread,Craw) was hell when they first came out, but we’ve learned how to deal with them.

Now to see who actually reads; This is not to say that everything is balanced, but unbalance is not overpowered.

Topic: Vorp! / when was the last time you've seen a fair match based on close ratings? do they exist?

For me, the match making is broken when you get 3+ players on 1 team all higher level then the other team
or when the total ratings for 2 teams are more then 200 points apart.

People used to wining more now because we don’t get teams that are even.

ELO might be good if there are a few hundred (or more?) players on at a time, but that is not the case so something needs to change.

That what I did, started 1 solo to look at some stuff, and then decided to go for it. I won’t bother with the normal PvE ships, but the ones that don’t normally do structures.

Angel Fire plays a bit like the Dreadnaught, if you’re not fighting something, go heal.

  • It’s a PvP ship, so the only thing you focus on is other ships.
  • Don’t go into enemy base unless with an ally

Build:

  • Trail Blazers
  • Ventilate
  • Ventilate
  • Ventilate
  • Vorpal Burners
  • Vorpal Burners
  • Trail Blazers
  • Trail Blazers
  • Hull
  • Hull
  • Hull
  • Hull

I don’t plan or expect to die, so I ignore Firey Death.
If you level the burners too soon, you won’t have enough energy to sustain them.

Depending on who I’m facing I might mix up the Hull and Burners.

Just did a solo with Angel, killed the Core in 9:02, only took Drone Hunter & Deport ops. (didn’t use the above build)

edit, forgot the other 2 levels of Trailblazers

Actually it is an OK example for AF. I had 4 good team mates and I still got a Gold medal. If AF was so bad I wouldn’t have been able to.

It is had to play right, but then some of the other ships are too.

@Hurpidurp. When you respawn and go straight up the middle, you pass between 2 walls. If the gate was across here, then any drones spawning would automatically go through it. This would also allow allies that respawn to get to the battle quicker. The other end would probably need to be deployed from the ship and able to be destroyed. 2 way or not would need testing for balance issues.

Considering the (somewhat) relative scale of the ships, a “Carrier” just wouldn’t seem right, but one that had minion balls and a destructible gate would fit better.

Q> Minions: Charge skill, max 2 per level. Activating this causes a # of minions to deploy = to current charge level. Activating this while minions are deployed cause all minions to return. Minions can be destroyed but are tiny (smaller then minion op). Any minion that returns increase charge level and is full healed.

W> : ?? a support ability with minor damage.

E> Warp Gate: 1 end is fixed with a line crossing across from the 2 walls on the way out of the core, causing any allied ship crossing to teleport the other end, which would be deployed from the carrier.
This not give your team more drones, but let you pick the location they end up in, as well as cutting down their travel time.

R> Shield Wings: An energy wall extends from each side of the carrier that acts like clanks wall.

honestly, the only thing to change would be to have turrets not target the wall, and have the GoV more effective.
