Topic: Forum Games / [Mafia] Execution in the Palace [Night 3] [Deadline - 22 Nov 17:00 (UTC+5:30)]

Just reporting in to apologise for my utter lack of activity for this forum game. I am still going to have quite low activity for the next few days so if you need to, feel free to replace or modkill me. If not, when I get back, I’ll make it up by being the most active mafia player the world has ever seen! (laughs maniacally)

Yeah okay.

Basically swimming in confusion Geoffrey Zamora disregarded what the other people here said. He wasn’t going to sit here not knowing anything. He walked up to the depressed old lady and asked in a tone that would feel like a demand.

“What are we doing here?”

Geoffrey could manage by himself, I’m sure.

These are getting stupider and stupider. This the sorta thing you after Sniney?

Name: Geoffrey Zamora

Age: 34

Sex: Male

Appearance:
185cm/6’1" and 68kg/149 pounds. Skinny with a “weedy” appearance. Short light-brown hair, dark brown eyes and slanted nose, however a strangely straight set of dazzling white teeth.

Personality:
Geoffrey is an introverted character, having only three or four real close friends whom he relies on for many things. He even prefers not to order his own coffee from the local cafe. He’s a very intelligent and hardworking man who is just trying to get through life, and believes in making everyone happy, even if it is from the sidelines. However, sometimes Geoffrey gets a bit depressed, saddened by the seemingly mundane life he lives.

About:
Apart from working in the computer program design office, Geoffrey doesn’t do too much for a living. He was brought up by two parents of similar personality to his one as of now – boring yet dilligent. He attended a selective school and graduated university with outstanding results in computer technology. He lives alone, but after work and on weekends, he sometimes likes to go down to the beach to just sit and watch the people and waves go by.

Biggest Motivation in Life:
To find someone whom he could spend his life happily with, and make it more enjoyable.

I think I might consider signing up, RIM.

No mafia member would want discussion to begin, so I do not see RIM putting himself in the spotlight to kickstart the game as a suspicious move. Additionally, it’s quite likely that if RIM were scum, the other mafia member would support him. Considering that the only two people to go with him are confirmed townies, I wouldn’t consider him suspicious at all.

Nothing unusual otherwise, just some town tells. Slightly town.

Not voting RIM because he’s the most active and town-like person, posting 2 RQS-es,

From my perspective, both RIM and hammy have been rather town-ish and I’m not seeing any scumtells from them (although I’m bad at seeing scumtells regardless)

RiM’s analysis seems pretty accurate to me, apart from mistaking my analysis of spike as an analysis of Leb. I don’t really agree with his opinion on spike for reasons stated above, but I can understand it nonetheless. Otherwise I don’t see any major flaws about it.

:DDD

I’d hope to think that I’ve surprised at least a few of you. Thanks for the great game guys. Also, thank you to Pulsaris for hosting. :)

It means “oh my god you (u) suck” and is used as a retaliation vote. It’s mostly used as a self-preservation means but it’s popular in the joke phase.

[Note that for this next bit I am not actually voting anyone]

Eg. Player 1 votes for player 2 with or without reasoning
Player 2 basically says “well I have no other choice so OMGUS vote player 1.”

I dunno. I think Leb may actually be the Gourd. But in that case he may have just killed us all.

I don’t consider it broken. There is a yin for every yang, and the aliens could have an equally easy and self-fulfilling strategy against the crew members.

Alright. Analysis time.

Bluji

Seems to have read through the mafia quite well since replacing adv0 and has a generally good idea of the game so far from what I can see. This:

Also, it would pretty much confirm the Praetorian Gourd’s role even if there was a counterclaim — lynch one of the two, if that one flips town, then lynch the other one the day after. Have cocoa use Night Voider (which if I understand correctly stops all night actions) to stop the nightkill — even if the mafia would kill cocoa, they’d still be down one member, because cocoa has the passive Bomb ability.

is a good idea. Maybe town.

BCLEGENDS

Good activity, seems to participate and have good reasoning in most cases, however, I’ve been sceptical of BC for a while, since day 2, in fact.

He used strangely justified reasons against me (retracted RNG taken as a lead?). Not answering the second RQS questions I can let slip. While self-preservation is not scummy, this statement:

Well, since everyone else (all of one other person) is unvoting occooa, I suppose I have to do the same, or risk being bombed as his only voter.

was worded strangely. Hamuka mentioned this at the start of day 4. It looks an act of getting out of the danger zone, but seems like BC would have preferred to stay in that zone were it not so dangerous, rather than actually following anyone else.
Is still somewhat suspicious of occooa for, again, suspiciously justifed reasons, given that she’s most definitely the Jackfruit.

occooa

Most definitely confirmed Jackfruit. Town-aligned.

hamuka

Slightly less posts than others; perhaps inactivity, perhaps lurking, perhaps I’m just wrong (I think I counted the posts right); but when he does post, they are long and detailed analyses that seem well justified and thought out. The slight inactivity is the only real scumtell but I’ve already justified why I’ll let that slip. Town-like.

REALinsanemonkey

Someone else can do the analysis of me.

spikeabc

Claimed VT. I should probably know what that means but I don’t. Someone can explain it to me. Anyway, it would be a town alignment, I know that much. Has had good activity, providing good-ish responses.

I didn’t really see his protectiveness of BC as suspicious. I won’t rule it out as a possibility, but it doesn’t look like much. It was only three sentences that seemed to be town-helping rather than scum-saving. Although I am suspicious of BC, spike could have been overanalysed and the town-helping/scum-saving mixed around. And he has also commented on the contradictions from BC, so maybe town.

Lebossle

I’d like to see this carryout… but im not retracting my vote for this

That strikes me as a weird answer. So, you want to see this happen, but do something that stops it from happening?

I really don’t want to/feel the need to answer this RQS

Small FoS right there. RQS is a nice way to gather information about people, so not wanting to answer them is a scummy thing. Though, you did answer the RQS after all…

This analysis from hamuka was good and provides good points. Has had good activity (a bit less for day 4 so far) and has provided good responses, but these ones hamuka analysed were weird. Also, as mentioned above, Leb could be overanalysing spike’s protective nature of BC. Not really sure at the moment. But…

After this analysis I’m going with two people I’m at least slightly suspicious of: BC and Leb. BC seems to be the more suspicious at this time, and as I already mentioned, I have been sceptical of him since day 2. Because of the reasoning stated above and in the analyses (of myself and of others), I’m gonna go with:

Vote: BCLEGENDS

FoS Lebossle

Captain Throw-out ability reduced back down to 1-shot as it was originally.

Hatchling now has no abilities and is basically the Meteorologist of the mafia side.
