Rules


1. Votes and unvotes must be bolded as shown: Vote: username. You must unvote before voting again.

2. You may not discuss outside of the game except with the game mod or people you are specified to be allowed to speak with.

3. If you are killed, you may not post in the thread again except for a bah post which reveals no new information.

4. If you are not playing this game, do not post in the thread unless signing as a reserve.

5. You may not edit posts. Instead, use EBWOP (Edit By Way Of Post).

6. No alts.

7. If there is a tie in votes, the player first to have received their votes will be killed.

8. Day phases will last 3 days. Night phases will last 2 days. Two extensions per day will be given upon majority request. Night phases may be shorter if all actions are sent in.

9. Presenting any kind of copies of private (mod) messages (pictures, word-to-word copies) will result in a modkill. You may still paraphrase PMs, though.

10. You must be active (at least 1 post per in-game day). Failure to do so will result in a modprod, followed by a replacement or modkill. You should alert me if you know you are going to be on leave or unavailable for an amount of time that would restrict you from playing this game.

11. Breaking rules will most likely result in a replacement or modkill.

12. Rules are subject to change during and especially before the game.

There was once a young boy named Parry Noir. He was born in 1853 and grew up with his mother and father, and baby sister Angela in a small town known as Fareham. Although Parry was picked on at school, he was living a fruitful life, though he wasn’t aware of it. His family were lucky to be quite wealthy, and Parry would grow up to take on a successful career and live prosperously. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen.
One year, a plague swept through the town quickly, carrying with it only death. It was disease that affected the brain, eating away at a person’s mind, driving them insane. The symptoms were subtle and rarely visible in a physical form. As such, a cure could not be found.
Parry Noir was the first to catch the plague, and the townsfolk knew it too. So when the young boy suddenly went missing, the Noir family suspected trouble. All concerns about the plague were dropped, and an investigation was commenced, but Parry Noir was never to be found again. The plague ebbed away slowly, and the town rebuilt itself after its losses.

Seven years later, and the plague has returned, showing up in spots – no one knowing who is next. The youngsters joke that it’s the ghost of old Parry Noir, choosing victims one after another, but their jokes are only masks to hide their fear. But when the Noir family – all three of them – go missing, fear clouds the town’s logic. The Noir home is burnt to the ground. Riots break out. The plague has hit back worse than ever, and Fareham is in ruins.

By the second week of the plague, most of the townsfolk have been infected. By this point, many of them have gone insane. During one night, when the infected were out trashing properties, the mayor quietly assembled a group of 15 seemingly unaffected townsfolk and led them to the church to hunker down for a while. He had decided enough was enough. This was how they were going to make it through this plague…
