I believe making it 1,000 gold=10 WBs. Would be fair, so the people that REALLY need say i faction box, then saving up 35,000 gold will be a mountain to climb but its better than attempting to get one of those epics through packs at a 1% chance or less at just an epic out of tons. Also people will buy warbonds still, but the gap between pay to dominate and free to play will become A LOT SMALLER.

Which in your case will-
1: Bring people back to your game
2: Bring up the rating on your game (which has tanked hard recently) Also netting in more people
3: Make your game fun again. (Which sadly has become more and more unfair with every passing day)
4: Increase the income of revenue.

Hope you read this and decide to take in to account what i have said, its not too late to save Tyrant Unleashed.

it doesnt work that way in f2p industry. whaling is the only way to get income

what you said is ineed 101.

when you get to more advanced lessons, you will learn, that there can indeed by cases of extreme price inelasticity, where lowering the prices does not lead to overall higher income.

all of these “f2p” games are prime examples. you can read about it in above article, but today its just one of many articles discussing it.

I would also like to add that this game is simply not fun, with its limited gameplay, no strategy, no balance and 25-minutes grind.

I am with you 100% a lot of players are already looking for other options, Ohh yeah if some leave they are not gonna go broke, well of course not but this is a really nasty kick in the ass for 90% of the faithful TU players and unfortunately a game needs supporters in other to be successful, I have spent over a 1500$ on this game many have and many of those decks would occasionally encounter a well balanced f2p deck and it was fun getting your ass kick by those decks once in a while, some players who bought event boxes didn’t even have the chance to upgrate their cards, to discover now that those cards are obsolete without the must have card, that is either pay for it or all your investment would be in vain, now what is gonna happen during guild wars when the vast majority of the decks don’t even have a card that can inflict any dmg not even a pierce 7 in some cases would do any dmg cause of the weaken being inflicted, why did you have to destroyed the game for many of the players and how long do they have to wait for a card that can counter such a monster, the answer is " in another box", now since the p2w players have to buy this card in order to be competitive, can you please tell me, what is gonna happen in 2 months from now?, are we gonna be obligated to get another card that would kill our entire decks, well that is for sure cause you don’t care about the people who’ve been faithful to you all these time your TU community

thats exactly the strategy.
it counts with some whale losses over time, but new whales are gonna rise in the mean time.
So they will repeat these cycles over and over until all players, including whales, leave. but by then they will have made enough money.

That synapticon decided to really go hard after whales in TU only proves that that is the best strategy, and people arguing by long term gains, from lower prices are simply wrong. This is all true, when are you guys going to learn that this IS the best way for them to make money, and this newest card is great proof of that, I don’t even have one guildmate that hasn’t bought it.

Don’t forget you need to have the f2p, low and medium spenders to have some gameplay!

you misunderstand the post. we are not saiyng its right. we are pinpointing the strategy for whales too see thorough it. many whales realise it now with TC.

but unfortunately cycling thorough whales and f2p players is the best strategy in this industry. f2p come and go. whale get milked, then go, but new whales arise.

you really must understand, that all of this is made just for the exact moment when a whale loses self control and burns thorough 1000usd+. thats all devs care about.

nothing can beat this. yes, it will end one day… but by then enough profit is made.

I have seen this whaling in every f2p game. but funnily not in WMT, which was as you say much more long term oriented and less whale oriented. but I am afraid WMT made less in 5 years then TU in half a year with that strategy.

Since we started THAT low, I skipped a LOT of steps (maxing a single card wont help with anything):
Ordered 11.0%: Constantine-1, Stinger Barrage, Vigil, Blitz Plate #2, Reaver, Draconian Queen
Upgrading Constantine to lvl 3 adds another ~2.5%

Even here Valiant Knight doesnt improve the deck xD

wtf I am suppossed to do…. even this 13% is at least 1000sp currently (i hvae 250)

Topic: General / Guild wars and such need to be on weekdays

idk – wm tyrant was always abandoned during weekends.

Since people would do something else on weekend, and during weekday always found some time to waste in office or school.

Granted there are jobs where this is not possible, but if someone has so harsh job, I guess he will do something more relaxing then TU during weekend anyway – and playing only on weekend doesnt get you anywhere in the game anyway.

Granted there are also nerds with no life, but I don´t think they are such a majority as you think, despite it would seem so judging by forum activity.

The fact tyrant U is on portable device even bolsters this fact…. the only times you cant play are when you are during an activity, whoch you dont´t want interupted, IE. beying with a girlfriend during weekend.

This goes for future tourneys as well.
Activity during weekends is much lower, since people go out, family, vacations, trips etc.
During weekdays ppl play when in office (job).
AAt least thats the case for me.
