Topic: Technical Support / For Chrome Users Having Trouble With Keyboard and Flash Games

Originally posted by Calcium11:

Outdated. Chrome has since moved its options and Under the Hood tabs from the wrench drop-down menu. Is there any way to work around this?

It’s now been moved here:
1) Click the wrench icon.

2) Click “Settings”.

3) Then at the very bottom at of that page click “+ Show advanced settings”.

4) Under the heading “Privacy” there is a box that says “Content Settings”. Click it.

5) Scroll down the box that appears until you find the heading “Plug-ins”.

6) Under that heading there are four options, which are “Run all”, “Click to play”, “Disable all”, and “Manage exceptions”. Below those is a link that says “Disable individual plug-ins”. Click that.

7) In the top right-hand corner there is a link that says “+Details”. Click it

8) Follow TheyCallMeTroll’s instructions as of number 7. (For ease of reading I’m putting them here. Also it’s been edited because certain things have changed from when the original post was created.)

9) Locate the flash files. Disable the one that ends with “gcswf32.dll” (I assume this stands for something like “Google Chrome Shockwave Flash for 32 bit”) , and enable the other one. (For this to work you must have Adobe Flash installed directly from the Adobe website.)
Or you could type into the omnibox “about:plugins” minus the quotes, and follow from number 7 in my post.

N.B.: I was on linux while writing this so I have not tested if the DLL is still the same. However the way to get to the plug-ins area is the same across all operating systems.

ETA: Tested on Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit SP1.

Research time for an item should be reduced if you actually have at least one of that item in your inventory.
Say I bought a claymore off someone, then when I go to research it, 10% off the research time because the blacksmith can “study” the claymore, so he finishes sooner.
This would go well with having an inventory list similar to the recipe list, instead of the mess on the side of the screen.

Also, for multi-worker items I’d love to see time remaining for each worker individually, not just how long till the item’s done. Right now it’s trial and error to get things running smoothly in the shop. Make it easier on those of us who like to plan things, hey?

Agreed.

Yeah, after that last update my customers now rarely start with an offer above market value. It is very irritating.

what the heck is “low balled”. Did it get stolen from you?

It means that the customers are offering low prices.

Same thing is happening to me, and they refuse to haggle.

Actually I would like to haggle multiple times. It’s really irritating when a customer comes in offers you a really low price, you haggle up, they accept, you sell it for less than market value, and then at the end they say “Never thought that you would accept.”

Topic: Serious Discussion / The Chaos in Egypt.

I remember reading that someone said that America did not support Egypt.
Who do you think has been supporting the Egyptian milatary?
At any rate the west is bieng two-faced. They want a sympathetic government but are calling for Mubarak’s resignation. The only thing I have aproblem with is the possible rise to power of an American puppet. (For those of you who would disagree there is Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, and pretty much the whole of Africa.)

What is going on in this post about the devaluing of Egyptian (or human for that matter) life?
What I really don’t want to see is either an externally propped up regime (I know that Mubarak was) or a weak leader who knows very little about governing. Also a democratically elected government being kicked out by the West (Hamas anyone?) is a similarly frightening prospect. After that I really don’t care because if those two scenarios are not played out it will mean the people of Egypt really do have a choice.
Who noticed that Mubarak placed Omar Sulayman and Ahmad Shafiq (both from the military) in places of power?

That’s a fair thing to say isn’t it?

It definitely hurts the Muslim image (for lack of a better word) when the leaders don’t implement the religion properly. However saying that all Muslims are bad ‘cause of the select few (btw axlkoegoskyeg the percentage of Muslim terrorists would be closer to 2%.) is like saying all Christians are evil because of the Spanish Inquisition. Or for a more recent example President George W. Bush invading Iraq. You don’t see Muslims burning Bibles or cursing Jesus(as). Granted there are evil people out there who label themselves Muslims but spread hate and who did destroy the towers.
And to all you who would curse Muhammad (s.a.w.) please read his history for yourselves and not listen to others who know very little about which they speak before spreading nonsense and lies.
