They shouldnt ban the items themselves, only using them in a dangerous way, with an obvious line somewhere. Poor job trying to ridicule.

But you said in your post that the government should ban your imaginary drug. Now you are saying things shouldn’t be banned, but the dangerous use should be. Have you heard of this thing called “consistency”? You should try it some time.
